AmoryBlaine Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 I was thinking that, rather than on-station NT accounts being an actual representation of your overall account, they were more like an immediate "I need money for lunch or unforeseen events.". So your actual account just moves a small chunk of money into your on-station account. this way when occupational Visitor Cap Tain arrives after his shift as Captain, he isn't really that poor. At least not 'ICly'. His account will be shit, but this is jus ta write off to explain why it's like that for everyone. Each account value is linked to how much money you can bring aboard the station, rather than your actual earnings. I dunno, spitballing here.
Azande Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 this is what it already is assumed to be???? go away Amory
Arrow768 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Right now I am pretty sure that the account value doesnt actually represent the money that you char have (given that its randomized every shift) However if we are ever going to introduce persistent economy, then this will change.
