When are you on Aurora?: Afternoon and Evenings

Experience

How long have you played SS13?: About 2 years on and off.

How long have you played on Aurora: 4 months.

How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: I know the basis of how a lot of the mechanics work.

Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: No, but I am willing to learn.

Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: I haven't been banned.

Personality

Why do you play SS13?: I play SS13 after reading about it from a friend who told me you can punch clowns, trip mimes, and wear butts on your head. Of course, I grew out of just playing it for just random laughs, and got more into the roleplaying side of SS13, trying heavy roleplaying servers. I found that I grown to like it very much, and reading people's arcs while forming my own is enjoyable, with the element of suspension and even drama that can occur.

Why do you play on Aurora?: I play on Aurora because after my last fall out with a previous server, I still wanted to give heavy roleplay a chance. Going here, making new characters, and restarting anew with a community that isn't half bad gave me the notion on staying. It's definitely one of the better places I had been on, and I am proud to be part of this community. The roleplay here, despite the minor hiccups from people who try to ruin roleplay, is impressive, and I play here mostly for that roleplay and to have fun.

What do moderators do?: A moderator's job is to serve the administrative staff moderating the community, handling issues and problems that arises, and answering inquiries via ahelps.

What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: This server is a heavy roleplaying, and to be a moderator for this server is not just doing the above thing, but making sure a level of roleplay is maintained.

Why do you want to be a moderator?: I want to be a moderator because I feel like I can take on the job in a community which I want to see blossomed.

What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I am someone who is willing to learn from others what it will take to be a good moderator. I am patient, always willing to listen, and honest with my intentions on things. If I make a mistake, I own up to it. I can adapt to working alone and as a team member, as well. I take criticism very well, and am willing to change in order to better myself.

How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I handle things the best I can. I don't get too overtly upset if there's someone behaving with less than decorum. Most the times if I'm pissed, I hold my tongue pretty well, but if someone's being ruthless I will never tolerate it. If I am upset about something, I make it known to whomever, and I am willing to talk about it rather then having it stew inside of me. It's human nature to be upset, but sticks and stones, man.

Anything Else You Want to Add:

Since it will be my first time moderating if accepted, I will need to be trained. I do not mind learning everything, even if it's seemingly tedious or a headache. Thank you for your time reading my application.

Are bluenames allowed to comment on these? Oh well, I think this needs to be said.

So. Baka. One of the most enjoyable people to be around OOCly, plays their characters as if they were actual people with personalities that range from outright funny to dead serious at times.

I've also noticed Baka's way of doing things as a head. Baka's definitely not afraid to raise their voice when someone in their department is dicking around. Good leader, in general.

Then there's Baka's point of view on, well, pretty much anything ranging from annoying, unagreeable individuals as well. Baka's harsh from time to time, but (he, she? never found out, sorry) they always have a reason to be so. I find Baka to be quite fair. Harsh, as stated before, but life isn't laughs and giggles. On top of that, Baka's chatty and consistently talkative, I think being part of the community is one of their favorite things to be a part of.

Baka's definitely someone to look up to. A solid example of who, and what players should definitely take after. Calm and collected, constantly thinking a few steps ahead and thinking of others before themselves.

I endorse this entirely.
