Pratepresidenten Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 As it is now, it costs 800 points, and it summons TEN whole ores to your location, and only that. Using it again just repeat-summons the same 10 ores at your feet, making it not worth the price at all, and makes it completely garbage to use. It used to be able to summon a screens worth of ores to your location without issue. Im pretty sure this particular thing was stresstested by Lohikar with thousands of ores/sparks with no issue. Would be nice to have this back to the way it was!
Scheveningen Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 If I remember right, the teleport code needed re-factoring. Because it was super inefficient. It just needs to summon 10x as much as it does now if that is still a concern, so that it doesn't inadvertently hang up the server if reverted back to its normal state. Then you can toss the remainder into a satchel and then feed it into an ore box.
Lohikar Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 My stress tests were only on sparks. High volumes of teleports (fancy ones with accuracy, which the ore tele uses for some reason) are insanely expensive, and the current restriction is at least partially due to performance constraints.
