Kane Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I know some servers and code variations have an option to set exploitable information on your character under 'Antag options', and I was thinking that maybe a traitor could purchase either a 'data-terminal' item, or permissions to access a sort of information database, something similar to the medical/security records, and then be able to read the useful information regarding the characters who have info filled out. A way to balance this could be attaching garbage data, limiting access to certain positions or number of uses.
CoolfoolFTW Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 They already can through unlocking their PDA.
K0NFL1QT Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I think this is better achieved using information given voluntarily over the forum, if you can use it without abusing it.
Valkrae Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I'll have to agree with Konflict. It's easier to do it that way, unless it gets viciously metagamed.
Nik Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 As a forum concept, I do like this...Bio's on your characters and their likes, dislikes, family, and whatnot. Someone get on this.
Susan Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Baystation had a topic where people could post antag information about their characters, so that's probably a good route to go.
Valkrae Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 If someone else doesn't, I'd be fine with throwing up a thread on the Syndicate Forum for all of these things.
