How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Three or so weeks.

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I would like to lead my favorite departments and build a better story for my characters.

Why did you come to Aurora?: It's one of the best HRP servers, Highpop and Serious.

Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes I have.

Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they?: Yes, I recieved a permaban almost a year ago, when I first came to Space-Station 13, and I have it appealed a few months ago.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:  Roleplay is playing a character to create a story that effects the gameplay and the characters around you.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:  The purpose is to be the top expert on your department, assist newcomers and regulars of your department and make important decisions effecting round gameplay. Aswell as to suggest changes and updates to the responsible staff member. Our main goal should be to create a storyline for each round regardless of role by cooperating with other players.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: One of the main responsibilities is to be the face of the server, the epitome of what is desired in an Aurorastation player, and to educate players on the lore of the community aswell as the rules. Also to be a link and diplomat between the staff team and the playerbase to make sure rounds run smoothly and are fun for all players involved.

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career?: Tau Ceti is the main base of operations for megacorporation NanoTrasen which is the leader in Phoron technology. For Camryn Biery, a highly intelligent student with anxiety problems, A Solarian native, Biery attended the Lunar University of Medical Science, graduating with a 3.9 GPA and a Doctorate in Medicine. Biery was quickly picked up by Zeng-Hu pharmaceuticals as a bio-medical surgeon and researcher, after being employed by Zeng-Hu for 12 years, he came to NanoTrasen, seeking a position on the NSS Aurora as a resident surgeon, he is skeptical of the companies ethics although. Jean-Luc Curry was a career Solarian Marine, serving for twenty years and graduating as a Gunnery Sergeant before retiring and coming to NanoTrasen as a Security contractor on the NSS Aurora.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Camryn Biery, Chief Medical Officer. Jean-Luc Curry, Chief of Security

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: Proficient, but I can get frustrated sometimes.
 

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action?: Yes, I do.

Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?: Yes I have.

Didn't see that requirement, just seen articulated, Don't see how how many words I type shows my capabilities other than dedication, but I'll try to do it.

Heyo. I have worries, but not gonna +/- 1as I think the system sucks,.

 

Firstly never seen you in medical and you listed wanting to play CMO. Kind of an issue, unless you just didn't add your character maybe?       

My interactions with you haven't really been great either. Things like killing a cadet 10mins into the round as a vampire and then complaining in LOOC to me that you weren't being clonned (after being killed by sec) stands out. As do issues of play around antags where there seems to be more emphasis on  'winning' than driving a narrative. Not the best trait for someone who wants to play command. Likewise when I see you in sec, you seem to get very frustrated very quickly and have a tendency to yell and swear at others. I really think you need a bit more time here.

 

Can edit back in the thingy I put now the round is over too. Caught the tail end of a vampire round where you ran around converting people willy-nilly. Likewise got fired from iHoS in like ten minutes after siding with an officer who decided to batton the RD, yelled at everyone to stay 'in their fucking lanes' when command asked them to be charged, and then salted in LOOC. I'd guess it was part of being an antag, but you then defended those actions in ghost chat..so..I really don't think we need more officers like this, let alone in command.

 

Perhaps I'm just catching you on bad days though. Best of luck with it all!
