CCIA Staff Application

Basic Information
Byond key: Contextual
Character names: Pennant, Danny Wiles, Keegan Rader, Wesley Jesse
Age: 23
Timezone: CST (GMT-6)
What times are you most available?: Varies with my irl work schedule, but I am generally active during weekday overnights and early mornings CST.
Experience
How long have you played SS13?: Five Years
How long have you played on Aurora?: Five Years
How active on the forums, discord and/or server are you? I read through the forums on a regular basis, and play on the server frequently (at least every other day if not more), but I am generally not active on the discord unless pinged.
Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: Not from Aurora.
Have you ever volunteered as moderation staff for any other servers, SS13 or otherwise?: I was DO for a time, way back when they were known as DOs.
Do you have any other experience that you believe would be relevant to a position in the CCIA?: Other than as listed above, and my nearly-five years of experience of command on-station, no.
Personality
Why do you want to join the CCIA?: I've noticed lately that the CCIA appears to be severely understaffed and/or truant. I have seen no activity from the CCIA apart from one or two active members, so I figure you guys might be running a little thin. Sometimes, old hands must be called upon in order to lessen the load so that the younger members of our community may know the grace of the CCIA and its auspices.
What do you think are the most important qualities for a CCIA Agent to possess?: Presence. Prescience. Pertinence. And timeliness. Grammar is optional.
What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is in an ongoing round?: To tell command how fucked they are, and sometimes to urge command to do their jobs. They also conduct interviews pursuant to ongoing investigations. Otherwise, unless command crosses their T's and dots their I's, CCIA do not play a major role, if any, in any given round.
What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is outside of the server?: To act as an IC issue resolver, and to bring about enforceable punishments for problematic IC behavior. This lends to the sense of permanence, and upholds the immersion and realism of the Aurora both as a setting and as a server.
How do you handle stress?: I do not get stressed easily, especially not by video games.
How well do you work autonomously?: Given an appropriate toolset and a comprehensive primer, I am perfectly capable of operating under my own discretion.
