Have you read through the criteria thread; https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4198 - and believe that you mark off all the criteria?: I am a bit out of touch with forums, but I will try to involve myself more in to forum activity. So they handle reports of rule breakers, try to catch them as they commit villainous acts. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I love helping people, but I am strict about enforcing rules. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: If I am no longer capable of withstanding situation, I often seem to prefer to back out of situation. Anything Else You Want to Add: Yes, I have retired from moderator position in past. While it had nothing to do with moderator position, it was tension I felt from one specific staff member. Also real life studies became harder for me to handle, and overall situation ended up with me not being in good mindset. So I took a break, got way better, and here I am again filling out moderator application. Link to comment
Faris
I cannot support this. Despite your recent activity, I’ve seen a lot of negative interactions in the past. You have the tendency to be extremely negative and toxic towards people, something I’ve seen you act like when it comes to coding. It is my belief that the attitudes of people are contagious to a degree, so having someone vocally negative about things would only damage the community. Not my nicest feedback to an application and I don’t want you to take this as an attack against you; but I don’t think you’re suitable for the role with your mentality. It’s too soon to see if you’re suitable. Link to comment

Sadly this is true, and I can't argue with that. Best I can do about that is change how I look at development topics, as often I find myself too attached to them and when my ideas are being contradicted I find myself going towards negative those who dare to question my idea. Moderation team for such reasons have rules that issues that are related to you can't be handled by you, you need another moderator to look at situation without bias. Thank you for pointing out negatives of my personality. Link to comment

I don’t think you understand still. The ability to hand something off to someone else due to bias is a luxury. You need to be able to understand the measure of bias you may have and be sure to one as objective as possible to be fair. And the above only works if a member of staff is able to police themselves. If you see something from the lens of hyper negativity you’re liable to over punish someone or to disregard what they have to say, making the incidents you handle liable to be handled improperly. There is also the component of trust. I don’t think people can trust you in this position for reasons I’ve outlined in this post and the previous one. Link to comment
