I understand the reasoning behind the ban, but not the punoshment. because what I did was wrong and I agree. I have spoken, members of the community and select staff about this issue, there was more than just "you did a bad thing" that went into the reasoning of my ban. I would love to discuss this in detail with members of staff, and how we can come to a conclusion.

If you could clarify on this bit here, that'd be great. As for a "Complete and utter lockout on appeal", you can appeal next month as its been 6 months, which was noted in your ban reason. The idea behind it is that you're supposed to improve and come back better, instead of just appealing and get banned again straight away, which in your case would be unappealable.
Pratepresidenten Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 On the topic of an appeal date, I will be retracting my "Appeal in 6 months" because Ive looked into your history around ss13's servers, and had I done this before your ban, I would have never given you the hope that you'd have a shot at coming back in 6 months, so that is entirely on me. In all the multiple appeals you've made, the same issues surface. You're an extremely toxic individual that has not learned anything from being banned from a multitude of servers, so it wont be any different here either. So to reiterate: I am retracting the 6 month appeal time, and I will not be unbanning you should you decide to make any appeal at any point.

This is absurd, and completely unjustified in the first place. The context behind those bans do not relfect on the individual I have become. Locking me out of any hope of unappealing will only reinforce the idea of never improving. I respectfully ask you to reconsider this otherwise nuclear option.

I want to state that the reason why I did not take the player complaint seriously, was because of the individuals acting on it were doing so in bad faith according to members of the community I have spoken to. Most of the complaints were indeed well founded, however they lacked a greater context to the situations they described. I'd like to note in the complaint, I gave my discord handle and asked everyone to contact me directly so that they could criticize me and I could take it in account.

Not giving you another chance when you just decided to don't take a complaint serious after all of what happened is not unreasonable.

I did take them seriously, after finally being messaged and linked the forum list. As I've said, many times; I gave my discord to the people in the complaint post for they could DM me and allow not just a direct form of criticism but a conversation about said situation.

After discussing it a while ago in a VC call with an anonymous friend on the team, it was rather unsual for the post to be closed after one comment from me on the complaint topic. There was no warning or discussing furthermore after my comment, telling people to directly DM me their complaints.

You had the chance to post a serious reply and try to have a conversation, instead you posted this: If you show no interest in the complaint, you can't expect people to give you the chance to start talking out of nowhere after you told you don't care/they are whinning/just pm me. Besides, from what I am what I am seeing, the complaint was open for a while after prate posted on it.

Besides, from what I am what I am seeing, the complaint was open for a while after prate posted on it. I rarely ever touch forums, as I rarely open up my web browser as I can do most of my work and job from my phone, so I do not get notified of such happenings. The handle was given so I could actually get in contact with individuals who saught to complain, if they were complaining in the first place then they obviously knew or had some semblance of having an idea of what was wrong with my playstyle. By giving them my handle, then we could open up a dialogue about said playstyles causing me to improve. I do not see the issue here, and would like to understand why it is such a bad thing.
