ben10083
Lore Impact: Small Species: Synth Short Description: Change of the existing Nanotrasen Command IPC requirement for biesel citizenship to something more general. How will this be reflected on-station?: IPCs who are not heads of staff, are free, and want to have a Biesel citizenship can have a better background for that instead of either being a NT head of staff or joining the Legion. Does this addition do anything not achieved by what already exists?: Its a change of existing lore to accommodate a wider selection of factions and jobs Do you understand that the project may change over time in ways you may not foresee once it is handed over to the Lore Team? Yes Long Description: Currently an IPC, assuming it doesn't want to serve in the TCFL, has to fulfill the following: An IPC has been employed as a free synthetic within NanoTrasen for six years and has a command-level income. I think that instead we should change this requirement to be more general, IE instead of JUST Nanotrasen it can be any megacorporation in the chainlink, and likely reduces the income level requirement so it isnt just IPC heads of staff that can feasibly have this requirement, so jobs such as Scientists, machinists, wardens, etc. Link to comment
The lancer
Biesel citizenship is a thing able to be attained only by the wealthiest IPC generally working with Nanotrasen or directly sponsored by Nanotrasen, otherwise they can have free IPC status. The vast majority of self owned are free IPC and not citizens, this doesn't need to be changed. Link to comment

The Stryker
The issue is that NanoTrasen has the most influence in Biesel, thus the Biesel Citizenship requirement would apply solely to NanoTrasen. Other SCC-member corporations have planets where they exert their own exclusive influence. Link to comment

Yet I find it too niche, for example, while yes NT has the most influence, they likely would not care if other SCC members also had this sponsorship (not to mention how you can't really argue to the public that a specific megacorporation command staff can pay their taxes yet another corporate command staff can't, which is the main reason why the salary req is there in the first place.) Why not companies like Hephatus, who have a substantial influence on Biesel, even if its less than NT Link to comment
The lancer
No I don't think we'd like something like that right now. Link to comment
