How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Started about three years ago, with breaks away from it during that time.
Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they?
I have not.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

There's a fair few things that a head of staff bring to the table OOCly. Their purpose is to help bring organization and leadership to their department, bringing around more interactions within. They are there to help calm things down when things get crazy. They are also there to show players, especially new ones the way. To teach them new things about the department, or about lore itself.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:

Whitelisted players have a higher responsibility to keep within character, being more serious and responsible. Ones to help encourage RP within the round and follow the rules. The best way to do this is  to stick around in the community and help people out.

Explain how the recent events in the Spur changed your character and how they came to be employed on the SCCV Horizon.

Short Summary: Amara always had an interest in the stars and space growing up. Upon reaching adulthood, she found herself working in a low level government administrative position. With new formation of the NKA's Mercantile Flotilla in 2463, Amara realized she could achieve her dream of reaching the stars, and soon found herself employed within it as a pilot. As the phoron shortage hit, however, Amara once again ended up handling more administrative duties, rather than outright piloting. She grew exhausted of the life she was being forced into, and eventually took the advice given to her by multiple PMCG employees that were contracted to protect the ship. She left Adhomai using money she saved, and ensured a position as a Bridge Crewman within the SCC onboard the newly launched SCCV Horizon.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?
Mainly interested in playing XO, I'm a bit of a sucker for paperwork I guess. Though I see myself making a Consular at some point in the future as well.

Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?
That I have.

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.:
Amar Nasr (Bridge Crew) -> XO

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action?
Yes

Have you linked your byond account to the forums?

Yes

Extra notes:
IC Amara has been placed as Interim Executive Officer several times without issues.

I've been alongside Amar as interim many times and was surprised to find that they were just an interim given how they handled situations. Amar always took action when needed, as well as going above with what was expected by them. I remember taking mental notes from their behavior to improve my own, given how fit they seemed to be in that position. I would 100% give this a trial, as bobbob shows more than enough aptitude with regard to a command role.

Amara is great - and does the balancing act of making sure the ship runs well along with allowing some antag gimmicks to get going. The player clearly has the initiative it takes to do command work without suffocating any adjacent RP. It's a +1 from me.

I trust Bob enough to where I could confidently make Amara an interim XO and expect them to do extremely well with no supervision. I think that sort of speaks for itself, but to make it plain: I support the application.

Played with Bob before, they've done well and definitely continued to excel in the rounds I've seen them in/played with them. Generally they communicate well and are good at bringing good RP into rounds.

I've had the pleasure of roleplaying with Amara Nasr and only have good things to say. They strike me as someone who knows the spirit of the game and is very proactive when it comes to RP, which is a breath of fresh air and a relief for me. HRP is a very co-operative thing and Bob knows that very well.

+1 from Sputnik.

Had the pleasure of interacting with their XO with multiple characters and I wholeheartedly believe they did not even need a trial for the command whitelist. Solid understanding of the IC and OOC duties and overall a great addition to see on the manifest.

Through my many rounds, Nasr has been a joyful individual to roleplay with as Kadeem.

I think they'd be able to handle the whitelist without giving the overseers a headache.
