Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question:

Why do you wish to play this specific race: The Dionaea are an interesting species. The most, truly alien of all works in our races so far, apart from possibly r upcoming addition of the Va'tramra'av (haha), I'll admit to myself never coming p with the idea of a plant person that lives in a sun as a congolnerate organism. Hm. Either way, the race interests me and I recently made a nymph to accompany my introduction of the character.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: I've got, at the very least, a damn good excuse to be long winded and poetic, expelling my need to debate philosophy on an ooc level, I can just do it I game! I kid. But with the Dionaea, I get quite a few options I don't get with drab, boring old humans. I get to be slightly lax on professionalism, and be a pacifist, something I rarely get to do as human.

Why does this species in particular hold your interest? Well, I already clarified above, but the Dionaea are the most unique of all the races.

Character Name: Golden Light In Voided Darkness

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

Golden Light began to awaken from it's growth pod, chirping excitedly at its first sight, a laid back looking human who seemed to be smoking some form of pipe. His eyes were bloodshot, and his hair long a droopy. "Woooooah." Said the man, "Would you look at that, bro?" He begins to look around as though seeking companionship from an other in the room.

Soon came another human, their look remarkably similar to the original, however, this one's hair was a light yellow, gleaming amongst the light of the area. "Oh. Cool, brah!" Said the new arrival. Golden Light was touched. The attention it was getting at its first marvel of creation made it feel special, important. Loved.

Golden light flicked out it's feeler and took the blood of the original... and so life began.

 

What do you like about this character? I haven't entirely developed it yet, but I am liking the fact that this character will be very poetic and thinking.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? Decent enough.

Covert's a pretty good roleplayer. He's usually pretty good at immersing himself in his roles, so I'm assuming he'll be able to handle this fairly well. +1 from me.

apaprently my vote wasn't good enough and i have to actually do things so let's actually do things.

Okay. So Covert's an old member of the community and in good standing and also staff. He's pretty calm like always, which is important for staff. And also plants. He has a bunch of characters and actually rps with a whole bunch of people, too, so big points for inclusiveness. 'Good roleplayer,' much as I hate the term. Mature, smart. funny sometimes. Easy to talk to. Someone I'd easily trust in an administrative position, to say nothing of a plantpersons position. But for the sake of being longwinded, let's say that I'd trust him to do a good job in a plantpersons position too.

There's your praise, covert. Take it. take all of it.
