General complaint, McGrath, Blade and Rivette.

Reason for complaint: A more general complaint about a small group of characters, Rivette, Lauren Blade and McGrath.

All of which, seem to be nothing but a general pain in the ass to the station, One of the issues is Rivette seems to be an easily suicidal prone crew member, Who's general mental history would be a un-acceptable onboard an expensive research station.

Blade/Technokat, Is known for their hostility and aggressive attitude, Being it harming security officers after she's been brigged for only 10 minutes BY SLAMMING THEIR HEAD INTO THE WALL UNTIL THE OFFICER IS IN CRIT AND HAS BRAIN DAMAGE UP THE ASS, Continuing to instigate arguments in general comms wither Rivette and McGrath, causing a general man-hunt from security to happen almost EVERY time. Which would have people thinking she is unfit for employment and being constantly a threat to the crew. She attempts to abuse mechanics by sliding a welding mask over her face when she's being chased by security to avoid being flashed and arrested. Which leads to an escalation of force.

If you want this cute suicidal space lesbian drama triangle that you have, That's fine. When you start to drag security and other crew into the matter over this, It starts becoming a pain in the ass for everyone to deal with.

I have to attest to this. These characters have been nothing but a headache, and have no reasonable escalation of force. I have repeatedly had to deal with Lauren assaulting people over trivial matters.

I'm glad someone finally put up a complaint, because I've been hearing quite a few people gripe about these three for awhile now.

Wouldn't it be prudent to split this into three complaints? As far as I know each of these characters are involved in different incidents and played by separate players.

Keep in mind TechnoKat has been antag-banned following this complaint (which happened after the wall-slamming incident). If you see them still engaging in overly aggressive and disruptive acts then it might count as self-antagging, but consider they have already been punished for their actions up to May 29th.

I haven't seen Lauren Blade on much since ... the accident... but I myself am not too sure what to think of Rivette/McGrath's quarrels. Personally I don't think it was nearly warranted the level of force that was used; I thought it was blown way out of proportion and had a higher profile than was ever necessary.

However I do remember a certain bartender, Zubari Akenzua, inconspicuously moving from one part of the bar to another; just in sight of a certain pair of people having a conversation in a relatively remote part of the bar, where only a maximum of two other people saw - one of them being said bartender, and another being an engineer who for some reason showed a particular interest - and seemed to butt in at his earlier convenience to bitch about not wanting them in the bar and some rant about 'sssspace lesssbiansss'... I don't remember exactly. To my knowledge, Filfthyfrankster plays Zubari Akenzua, said bartender.

A form of metagaming, perhaps? Should this be addressed in another complaint thread? Because I know a number of players who hate it when people run off into a dark corner of the station and completely isolate themselves from everyone else but this is something that only encourages it. However annoyed I was with your interruption, I thought I'd leave it alone but then I read the last paragraph of this complaint and only supports my original hypothesis in that you're just doing what you can to interrupt other peoples roleplay IC because you don't like thing.

I don't mind domestic antagonists, those with personalities that cause a level of drama aboard the station. But I can say that some of these characters have no real... substance out of their little tropes. Perhaps I should play an Engineer sometime and see if there's more to them being the biggest dick possible.

Now don't get me wrong, you can be a dick and that makes things interesting. But we also got to take into account that if you constantly caused shit to the point of violence, you'd get fired. The thing is, Techno for example has two decent characters that are actually believable and have several layers to them, I just assume Blade is what he uses to let off steam.

I'm not saying the whole homosexuality thing is bad, But if you want the whole 'Space lesbians' things to stop being used. Just tell me.

I would like to suggest talking this out in a private matter in order to avoid the hassle and I'll give out a much needed apology, but if this is what you wish.

I'm doing my best as McGrath, she only recently got involved in the bullshit with Rivette.

I just want to roleplay as an engineer, the personal drama is just on the side. I've tried to create a believable character with flaws, positives and successes and failures.

She just happens to be gay. She happens to be in the middle of a dispute with another character.

If you people are really so fucking sick of her already I'll fucking stop playing her.

Furthermore, I had -little- to fucking deal with the drama that involved your character opening fire on an unarmed civilian. Rebecca made a jab at Rivette, and within five minutes, a security officer had stormed into engineering by jumping the table and wanted to arrest her. So if you would stop fucking assuming I have anything to do with any 'triangle' between Blade, whom my character barely knows, and Rivette, a character my character despises and doesn't actively seek out conversation past insults and barbs, then maybe you can move on from this.
