The likelyhood you will die depending on:

what department you choose http://puu.sh/jDHhs/90029b98cf.png

What gender you are http://puu.sh/jDHtP/b15998f404.png

Where you will most likely die:

Jeeze! Poor Security officers. All getting killed.

And Assistants? That one surprises me.

I do think it's pretty appropriate that most deaths occur in medbay.

The autotraitor numbers really surprise me. I really haven't played many of those.

Wow. Some of those surprise me.

@Jack. Probably because during deadhour secret we mostly have auto-traitor because we're only 10-15 players.

Ahhh. Yeah, that makes sense. It might be interesting to see player numbers co-related to number of players.

By analyzing data that the server made though the last 8 months.

Are these stats raw data, or do they account for inflation and other statistical jargon? The one for male-female related deaths in particular raises this concern, because my natural intuition is to suggest there are just more male workers than there are female workers. (That would be another statistic, male to female worker ratio, discounting people who selected Diona or IPC (or accounting them into a third, separate statistic))

Headphone cat was bored, me thinks.

Raw data over 6-10 months, the reason I say 6-10 is because our database went through a little change internally which might have split the database a little.

I can get hold of the data from all of the time, but that will take another day when I'm bored because I gave up after the server started.

More male characters die. This does not mean there are more male characters on station than female. Characters spawned by admins are by default male, Cyborgs are classed as male.

Also take into account my arch nemesis, bugs. Every time the death bug happens (most known with vampires that drain people of blood) somehow characters die, then comeback to live, then die again. Which results in data like this http://puu.sh/jEsVx/c8fbe16832.png

IPC and Diona are still able to select a gender in the creation screen, I've seen quite a few female IPC's.

... I just spotted something now I'm interested. I'll come back to you on the death stats.

Religion is saved along with gamemode stats. The religion name and things are used in gamemodes. It's recorded anytime a chaplain is spawned and they make their religion.

Ok back with the statistics of the old database config. Some of the data was missing.

Hm, no Dodekatheon...I need to play my chaplain moar.

Seeing the results of the operating theatre has me laughing madly.

There are times you scare me, Nursie. I - I think this is one of them...

Oh hey, look. Extended has more deaths than Nuke.

Most of those events were not during when were were logging stats

Also those are not gamemodes voted, they are the ones played.

Aft Port Solars being a good place to die? Sounds legit.

And here I thought nobody could see those diety facts, so I stuck THE EMPRAH up every time I played chaplain.
