One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I've grown quite bored of humans. I want to mix it up a bit and attempt to duplicate the human-hating yet subservient robot that slowly develops more meaningful relations with certain worthy humans onboard the NSS Aurora. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: IPCs are cold, calculating, and otherwise literal beings. They don't show extreme emotion. They often more than not possess a sheer disdain for non-positronic organisms, believing them to be flawed individuals with no discernible or important traits besides being a tool for the greater good. Ironically, as they were made by the very organics they believe to be hella fake, they are subservient drones themselves, unable to free themselves from their silicon prisons. Why does this species in particular hold your interest: They're extremely adaptable beings. They learn on the fly and make tough decisions within seconds. They calculate risk like most people consider what to have for dinner. Despite being a walking encyclopedia, they are at a loss for social interaction at its greatest extremes. Who doesn't like the quirkiness of a former/potentially current killer robot that hates humanity to death? Hell, Futurama did it, BioWare did it with HK-47. Why not for 2d spessman simulator vidya gaim? But, really. This character is to be a positronic that despises humanity to its absolute extreme, yet suffers from the cruel irony that it can no longer act upon its hatred of organics. This will lead to painstakingly humourous and dark confrontations. Despite its attempt to subvert its own mandative to serve organics, it will grow and develop relations with many other characters along the way. IPCs are programmed to serve their masters. Their masters being NanoTrasen, specifically.

'nuff said +1 they're an expertly robust player, they do a decent job in the Captain's seat (a seat few would want, or could handle) and they work pretty well with me in my lab. I enjoy talking to them and I want to see more machine people aboard the ship.
