Valkrae Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) BYOND Key: Valkrae Character name: Rasuna Ki'hata Item name: Na'Tor PD Jacket. Why is your character carrying said item to work? It's what she wore everyday when she first joined the police force on Adhomai. Item function(s): It's just like a jacket. More like a parka, really. Item description: This is a Na'Tor Police Department Uniform Jacket. Item appearance: http://s4.thisnext.com/media/largest_dimension/7D533ECF.jpg But more of a dark blue. Additional comments: She would wear this because it would basically be what started her career in Law enforcement, and it'd basically be a day-to-day jacket that she'd wear almost anywhere. This was approved before, but I was being a shitler and left the server. Edited November 7, 2015 by Guest
Valkrae Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Fixed it. It's where I directly copied it without checking the link.
Dea Tacita Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 HERE. After recoloring it twice to grey-brown and finally brown. I realized you said...blue.
SierraKomodo Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 HERE. After recoloring it twice to grey-brown and finally brown. I realized you said...blue. Are you planning on the hood being a part of this, out of curiousity? If so (Assuming this is approved), I'd probably try to code it to work similar to a hardsuit with a helmet attached (I.e., toggle helmet verb toggles the hood being on/off and takes up the helmet slot when on), and failing that, just make the hood a separate item (Explainable ICly as a velcro or zipper removable hood). Mentioning this since Dea included sprite work with a hood as well.
Dea Tacita Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 To note, I believe Bay-12 has code for hoodies. When Skull tried to do this for my coat, it did a weird overlay thing where the hood itself was behind my head.
Valkrae Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 HERE. After recoloring it twice to grey-brown and finally brown. I realized you said...blue. Dea, I swear. You're my guardian angel. Every time. And it can be either, I don't really mind. It'd be nice if the default was the hood down, and not on the head.

If approved I'll do some digging/experimenting and see if I can make that idea work.
Jboy2000000 Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Id like if this was a thing. I could think of some fun things that could happen with Kit Cat if they wore this on the station.
Dreamix Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Just to quote the wiki: Tajaran are built for the extremely low temperature environments that are incredibly common on Adhomai, giving them remarkable cold resistance. However, this gives them a tendency to overheat in more mild environments. To avoid this, most Tajaran will dress lightly in warmer environments such as those on human installations or tropical worlds. Forgoing the usual layer-like clothing, these Tajaran resign themselves to thin clothing. Those who find themselves confined to bio suit or radiation suit for extended periods of time will end up feeling extremely uncomfortable and perspiring heavily. Wouldn't a badge, or a light bomber jacket be good? I have no idea.
Valkrae Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 Just wanted to make sure this was still active?
TishinaStalker Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Marking as inactive since Valk hasn't showed face on server and forums in weeks. If you wish to reopen this, Valk, then PM me.
