Ordessa
I understand the new map isn't out yet, nor do we have any idea what the research division will look lime, but I'm making this in the hope that the mappers see this and take this into consideration. Make research bigger. Give us actual rooms to test stuff (as of now telescience and the testing room has become one) And more generic stuff that doesn't have any use for the purposes of RnD levelling, robotics, or xeno but we can use for our own Rp focused experiments. For example either give us a chemaster on station, or preferably, a tank of every chemical available from the Chemaster. A stock of protohumans for test subjects, maybe even something like a nurse spider, space carp, or any other animal that makes xenobiology more than just breeding slimes. What I'm getting at is that if we wanted to do actual experiments (like a research station should) its very difficult to find the room and supplies to do so. Link to comment
Butterrobber202
As a Scientist player myself, the answer is YES. I would love to see some /good/ experiment Roleplay. Throw a 5x5 cage area and a console where we can beg Skull Centcomm to bluespace in a away-mission mob for experimentation. Link to comment

Teleport a random rare creature in for us to poke and prod. I'd love to find a way to extract a brain from the gold slime mobs, but I'm fairly certain they don't have extractable brains. No, slimes don't have brains. I have been wanting to experiment with the blood reactive slime cores though, by inserting them into test subjects to see what happens. Sadly, every round I've played Xeno and asked for the equipment for surgery, either it was never given to me, or I got tile-stomped by the slimes before it arrived. Link to comment

Not gold slimes. Link to comment
