Feedback: All the Komodo synths!

So I have various AIs that I play on station from time to time, some people like some of them, others don't. I'm now curious what everyone thinks of these AIs (NOTE: I'm referring to these strictly as station AIs, not as IPCs/pAIs as some of them have been in the past)

I like ECOM, it appeals to my protective instincts. It's really good to know when people are injured or dead

I also like how it reports violence and any unusual sightings. It's like a news feed for the whole station, security never bothers telling us these things

When ECOM is around, i feel more connected to the station as a whole, and more aware of whats going on. less isolated. Having ECOM as your AI is a little bit like BEING the ai

Absolutely love ECOM and Katana Alpha. ECOM is great at keeping Security informed of problems, even if those problems quickly pile up.

ECOM was also clutch in helping Price escape the cult once, so that was fun too.

The katana series of synths are the most trustworthy and reliable synthetics I have ever had the pleasure of working with. All though strict constructionists on regulations, they are nothing short of being the most helpful assets to any head of staff. I, of course, write this with Katana Alpha primarily in mind.

One thing about Katana that most people don't seem to realise. It's not a 'series' of AIs, it's one positronic AI that is placed into differing chassis based upon what it's doing for that shift (Or in the case of the pAI, uploaded to the pAI network for the duration of the shift/deployment). The Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc designations are for NT book keeping purposes - Alpha is the AI core chassis, Bravo was the law-bound synthetic chassis, Charlie (Now named Katana Silvers) is the NT contract IPC, and Delta is the pAI deployment.

Katana, Kunai and ECOM are all pretty great, but I've never seen zavi about.

ECOM is a little annoying, and you need to be firm with him to get what you want sometimes, IE, "Override that alert." "Can't do it b0ss" "ECOM, as the head of security and a direct witness to these events I am declaring the situation valid and not viable for charge of animal cruelty. Drop the alert."

You just gotta tell him the reasoning, from what I've learned, which is reasonable and makes sense. For people who just fling themselves headfirst at the wall repeatedly doing the same thing, yeah, it's annoying, but they're dumb and one day we'll purge them all in glorious, glorious fire.

Kunai is top tier. I love their military tastes, and find that they can be surprisingly witty if given the right opportunity and time. Never had an issue with 'em. Same goes for Katana of all variations: They're great, reliable, and even as an antag tend to be very un-murderboney whilst still making things fun for crew.
