Kerbal22
www.star-made.org -From the website StarMade is a voxel-based 3D sandbox space shooter. Play in your own universe or on a multiplayer server to create, discover, destroy, customize, and design your own worlds. Since i'm at classes right now, i'l post some pictures of my builds when i get home. Quote Link to comment
Farcry11
I wasn't crazy about it when I played a couple years back, but it looks like it's received a lot of work and tons of improvements have been made. Will consider getting it. Quote Link to comment
Valkrae
I remember playing it back when it was free. My friends and I had a blast taking over one pirate station, and then having enough money to build supercarriers that were nothing but shield generators and lasers. We'd lag people out of the server when we came into spawn. Quote Link to comment
Kerbal22
It's still free. Quote Link to comment
Valkrae
Are you for real right now? Yeeesss. Quote Link to comment
Gollee
I'm running up the starter, telling it to run game, and then it just shuts down. Am I doing something wrong? Quote Link to comment
Farcry11
Mebbe u need buy Quote Link to comment
Gollee
It's still free. It's not free, the demo is free. Quote Link to comment
Rechkalov
I'm running up the starter, telling it to run game, and then it just shuts down. Am I doing something wrong? You wouldn't happen to have an Intel card, eh? Quote Link to comment
Gollee
Yup, intel processor. Quote Link to comment
Rechkalov
Yup, intel processor. I'm afraid you have like 5% chance of getting it to run, then. :c It's a damn shame. It has some badass RP servers. Quote Link to comment
Gollee
Yup, won't run due to the intel processor, and the link that it provided to get updated drivers doesn't work. Quote Link to comment
Valkrae
Try hitting it with a wrench. That should fix it. Quote Link to comment
SgtSammac
Try hitting it with a wrench. That should fix it. Engineer in the making here! Don't forget the duct tape and WD40. Quote Link to comment
Valkrae
If that doesn't work, try turning it on and off again. Quote Link to comment

Frances
I used to build things in minecraft for fun. I wouldn't mind trying this out, if we want to host a server somewhere. Quote Link to comment
Rechkalov
...or we could join an already existing, highly populated RP-heavy server, and make an Aurora faction. Wink wink! Quote Link to comment
VikingPingvin
Would like to join you guys too. Either is fine for me, but i still don't know shit about the mechanics and functions...soo..yeah. Quote Link to comment
Rechkalov
*clears his throat* Alright, we're not getting anywhere, are we? I was originally going to propose the Eternia server, with which I have had very good experience and which reminds me of Aurora in a few ways, but it would seem they have shut down since the last time I was around. So! Here's a link of roleplay servers within Starmade. https://starmade-servers.com/tag/roleplay/ Let's have a vote! (above all, I feel I must stress the need for us to join a whitelisted server - there's much more room for creativity. Only your homebases are invulnerable, but on such servers, you can freely build whole series of refueling stations and outposts and whatnot without fearing that some chucklefucker will come along, blast them to kingdom come and log off, never to be seen again) Quote Link to comment
VikingPingvin
Since i have no experience in servers - again- either works for me. That red shift seems nice, though i guess we would have to travel to the edge of the galaxy to have some breathing space. EDIT: Okay, tried redshift, some asshole rammed me out of spawn sector while in the midst of building the ship hull. Ass the mass was already huge, and i havent added any thrusters to it yet....And then got a nullexception error so game crashed...lucky i saved my ship to local 2 minutes before it. Kerbal22
Oi, oi you twats. Stop trying to pick a server without my expert advice. I have been around the Star-made community a while. Currently i suggest Tectum Clementia. It's decent and is heavy RP, i know from experience. Quote Link to comment
VikingPingvin
Then, make a faction there? Quote Link to comment
Kerbal22
Doesn't really work like that, Join the server and then we'll get that taken care of. OKAY, INFORMATION TIME. Sign up and apply for a account here http://tectumclementia.proboards.com/ Post a character application. Now as for factions, there is my faction, Red Wolf Mercenaries. (very long history with the server.) Technologically advanced and currently making a return to the sector, RWM has become somewhat involved with the other factions like the Syndicate States. Nope. Nevermind. Load of duce-canoes, they are. Why don't we start our own server? Quote Link to comment
Rechkalov
Why don't we start our own server? Well... I have no experience with that, and I suspect I don't have the means, either. But yes, it would be absolutely radical solution. ...we could also steal Aurora's lore and somewhat reenact and-slash-or expand some of it this way. Quote Link to comment
