SierraKomodo Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Giving security access to view CCIA actions on security records consoles (Just like they're currently shown in employment records) would make sense and be helpful in enforcement of certain types of actions such as injunctions, and as a record of 'Hey, this person has a warning for doing XYZ. And they're doing XYZ now. Maybe we should report that to CCIA', as well as other situations where it'd be helpful for security to be aware of such actions (Mainly, it's so that security can actually enforce these things in-round by being aware of them without needing a head of staff to relay the information off an employment record console).
Arrow768 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 The reason why its not available on sec records is, that CCIA wanted the ongoing actions to be only available to heads of staff via the employment records consoles. If that has changed, this can be implemented.
Hartburry Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Hello, You may not recognize my tag but I am an older aurora (former) regular. I actually created the Duty Officer program (now called CCIA). I don't mean to intrude if this topic is closed and resolved but I do not like this idea. One of the main reasons for Duty Officers being created was to curtail Security targeting specific players. Private information is discussed between CCIA, the Heads of Staff and whomever is involved during an investigation. If Sec players had access to this ptactical gossip it would only encourage targeting of specific players. This is my two cents but I am quite inactive.
Arrow768 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Voting for dismissal, as CCIA Records are head of staff clearance only. Unless this is changed, the suggestion can not be implemented
LordFowl Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Seconded. As per suggestion rules binned. Appeal to CCIA if you want how CCIA records work to be changed.
