  1. Sup, its Hartburry.. I was Hakra that round and was there. This shouldn't be a ban.. There was lots of craziness going on and I think that the attack was justified and within believablity for what was happening that round. I myself was a little uncomfortable with our "siege" on the AI, I felt that security was just sort of bum rushing the core and it felt weird to me.. The Captain and Security even requisitioned my axe of all things in order to "open doors".. Like why would you need the atmos tech's axe in order to open doors? The round was still early on and I felt that security was acting like they didn't even care if the station would get nuked... Like if someone's threatening to nuke you do you bum rush them with a couple engineers and a couple grunts or should you negotiate and try and talk them down? Also the actual "gank" (which was ahelped) didn't just stop sec in there tracks... Hakra, the other engineers, an officer and the captain all made it down to the core so its not a very big deal in the grand scheme of things. Also one more thing.. Why is this a ban request?? This should be a complaint!
  2. Hello, You may not recognize my tag but I am an older aurora (former) regular. I actually created the Duty Officer program (now called CCIA). I don't mean to intrude if this topic is closed and resolved but I do not like this idea. One of the main reasons for Duty Officers being created was to curtail Security targeting specific players. Private information is discussed between CCIA, the Heads of Staff and whomever is involved during an investigation. If Sec players had access to this ptactical gossip it would only encourage targeting of specific players. This is my two cents but I am quite inactive.

  4. lore shouldn't be strict in my opinion the best designed worlds are the ones where not everything is explained the readers should only be told so much and should be left to speculate about the rest
  5. Nope nope nope. Whitelists should be given to anyone who deserves it. If we decide now that we should grade people harsher on their play and make them do absurd amount of work just to try out playing a command role we will end up with the same couple veteran players in command roles every round. If a Head player is fucking up regularly then there are numerous ways to remove their whitelist. Like I said on your reapplication thread, 1138, everyone deserves a chance.
  6. I hardly play him much anymore but if any of you guys had interactions with Hakra Drat it would be cool for some feedback.
  7. I miss Leo Wyatt always taking the one detective spot every round.
  8. For the most part the DOs and I have been quite passive with our actions. We have definitely had more than one incident where a DO has interacted with the station and we have also dealt out more than one long term IC punishment. For example; after the big Sue character complaint the DOs worked with Ana in sensitivity training. We didn't punish her and from my knowledge Sue had no complaints with our actions.
  9. Hi guys, my name is Hartburry and in case you don't know me here is a brief introduction; I have been on the server for almost a year now and am in charge of the Duty Officer program for this server. I also am a die hard Atmospherics player, you may have interacted with my main character, Hakra Drat, in the past. I made a post awhile back starting a huge shitstorm about the server and it's treatment of newer players, you can read it here- http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1266 Now this post has nothing to do with that old topic. What it has to do with is the program I started after talking to Skull shortly after posting. With the help of Skull and the Admins I created the Duty Officer program and it has been going for a couple months now. The focus of the Duty Officer program was to make it so command players had to answer to a higher power and didn't just have free reign over whatever they want. It was also to make sure that regular players could be given consequences for repeated bad actions which would last more than one round. I personally have not participated in any DO actions because I wanted to keep a non biased head. I am coming to you all now in order to ask for some feedback. You can say whatever you want however I would like to ask that you stray away from individual incidents and focus more on whether you have seen a positive change in the server's atmosphere since Duty Officers were created. I trying to decide where the program will go. With the summer coming up and our player-count only increasing the program needs to be ready and I need you all to help me by giving me some feedback.

  11. Nanotrasen thanks you for this report, Mr. Stamos has received a slew of reports based around his behavior. He is being looked into.
  12. Nanotrasen thanks you for this report and has assigned one of our valued Officers to the case. -Duty Commander Henry
  13. Noted, if further incidents occur Mr. Robinson will have his attitude fixed by one of our trained professionals. -Duty Commander Henry
  14. Being in charge of the Duty Officers I feel I should say that Serveris is very organized, efficient and professional. He would be a great asset to the server if he were given a shot at being a mod.
