Why is your character carrying said item to work? Nasser has a love for alcoholic drinks and mainly vodka, often times going to the bar to drink some and try other drinks. And maybe also trying to get his co-workers to try vodka also while finding amusement in the faces they make when they take their first sip from how strong vodka is. Years ago he received a cheap survival flask from the PRA army that can fold down and hold sixty units of a drink when folded up, but over time he has dented and scratched it soon destroying its ability to fold down, forever in its fold up state due to dropping it and exposing it to engineering machinery. He grown a connection to it as it has been with him over the years as each dent and scratch has its own story behind it. Every time it grew a hole, he would pull out his welder and patch it up.

Item description: A steel fold down flask that is dented and scratched. It looks like some parts are welded together, making it so it can not fold down anymore. It smells strongly of vodka.

How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? Nasser could sit in the bar and tell the bartender his life story, on his five year service in the military, and how each dent and scratch happened in the first place. He'll drink from it his favorite alcoholic beverage while it is a symbol of the stories in his life. He would not even go for a better flask in life. To most people, it will be a cheap metal tin can that he got from his service in the army but to him, it is something he wishes to give to his children when he passes away.
