Why do you wish to play this specific race:

I am quite intrigued with the IPC race in that they are almost human but mostly machine. I would like to play cyborg but a lot of the times they are limited in what they can do. However. Playing as an IPC is like playing a smarter and more free cyborg. Something about playing as a computer on legs seems very fun, and I feel like I could play the role very well.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:

Humans have a lot of emotions, they are free to do how they please. They are biological. the IPCs are more stoic, less emotions and the like. They are less free, they are machines. Mechanical parts no biological parts. On the plus side they have an advantage to humans where they cant be harmed by most toxins other than acid.

Character Name: A.I.M (Automated Intellectual Machine)

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

(BACKSTORY EDITED) A.I.M Was built by the Hephaestus Robotics Division, when there was a continue-es rise in the need for Industrial IPCs who could do more meaningful tasks such as Research. When he was built he was programmed to be able to do two roles in the research division, being a Mechatronic Engineer, and a Scientist.

When he was activated he was given the name A.I.M, which stands for Automated Intellectual Machine. It was programmed with skills such as Exosuit Construction, Exosuit Maintenance, Cyborg Maintenance and Brain Removal Surgery.

After his activation he was sent off to numerous stations until he stuck with one, "HRS Pantheon". During his time there he learned many new skills from people he worked with and made friends with the ARAI Artificial Intelligence aboard the station.

After 10 or so Years he was unassigned from the Pantheon and was sold off to the market to the NanoTrasen Corporation, He was moved around from station to ship and back to station again. Until he was assigned to the NSS Aurora and was assigned to there Robotics and Science division.

What do you like about this character?

I like that he is not Unique in any way shape or form, he is basic nothing special. Just a plane old IPC doing as designed. I Feel like I can connect with this character and RP as him very well.

How would you rate your role-playing ability?

On a 1/10 Scale? maybe 5 or 6? I amm quite new to role-play, Still a little rusty and sometimes use internet slang or "emoji" But I have gotten better.

The backstory is what I can do. I play D&D sometimes but when it comes to making backstories for my characters? its hard. and making a back story for a robot? Thats even harder.

I've played with Dark1Star a few times and interacted with him. He roleplays pretty well in the instances that I've interacted with him. He gets a +1 from me as I think he'd be able to RP an IPC pretty well.

Although, you might want to fix the grammatical issues in your post. Random capitalizations and some spelling errors makes the application a bit harder to read.

A.I.Ms Personality is pretty plain. He wont crack up jokes for no reason. He wont go running around the station for no reason. He will do his job. He will do what he is programmed to do. If a person of a higher command asks him to do something. He will do it without question. He is very loyal. but very plain. Stoic... one would say.
