Why do you wish to play this specific race: They are interesting both narratively, and mechanically.

They move slowly compared to every other species, and they appropriate the knowledge and culture of other species instead of making their own.

Character Name: Two of Three

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

"Look for me there, we will all remember ok?"

Athos, Porthos, and Aramis did indeed remember, but recalling such details weren't important right now. What was important right now was not being on the receiving end of a laser gun. From their hiding place, they could see black-suited figures, their clean pressed suits making shuffling sounds as each moved with practiced pace as they methodically checked the contents of each dingy cargo container aboard an equally dingy ship. All of them knew they would be found if they stayed here but because Caladius said it would be safe in this container, they stayed. The men approached, moving past their hiding place without incident. Much later, Athos would find out that they were led to believe that the Board of Xeno-Inquiry had acquired new, highly venomous specimens, and did not think too highly of the possibility of being stung.

As the danger past, they relaxed, but never fully. Doing so would go against something they were taught very early on. They didn't really get the point of such lessons then, but nevertheless, they kept them in mind. As the cargo ship left Dominia for parts unknown, distant starlight that shone from the portholes that ran the breadth of the spacecraft evoked an almost primal memory of sorts in each nymph. Because of some quirk in their biology or the surreal clearness of view that the airless void gave, it elicited a vivid recollection that swept across the fields of their memory. They recalled others of their kind, countless others. A battle, Pain! and then...

Her

They remembered when they met, as her little green fairies, but all too quickly, as her little green friends. They remembered the Blue Palace of House Caladius, The Hospitable House in Inhospitable Land.Legends held that Great Caladius built it smack dab in the middle of Dominias polar ice cap to hide his treasure. Whatever the case, it stands now as a testament to their house's power and wealth. Equal parts mansion and fortress, unassailable and imposing. Beyond the house, they remembered it's gardens where they played. The smell of orchids that hung in the air and the calls of dozens of songbirds, each imported from Earth at the cost it would take to feed a family of four for four years. They remembered getting their names, from heroes of her favorite storybook, one of many volumes saved from censorship that her father possessed. They remembered tutors, lessons, formal education, but most of all, they remembered when her father got rid of them. He had acceptable reasons, of course, they had come to realize by then the precarious nature of their friendship with his daughter. They knew it rested upon secrecy, least insofar as the Empire and its Tribunal commandos are concerned. That it did well to stay small, unseen. They knew their discovery it would damage Caladius, but more importantly, it would hurt her, and It was for this reason primarily, that none of them really argued when their existence became a problem. They allowed themselves to be quietly taken away, and shipped to parts unknown.

That would have been the end of it if she hadn't found out. As they departed, she made each of them promise to return when they could. They swore and left, but returning didn't feel important then, rather, leaving did. Dionae are nomadic like that after all.

As the passage of years wore on, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis did what dionaea do, and split. They split and found new people, new places to remember, but they never forgot her, or each other. It would be twenty years before two of three would find each other again, brought together by the providence of a resurgent Dominia, now free of slaves and more accepting of aliens. Two of Three seeks its final missing piece, to complete what they swore twenty years prior and perhaps bring close a circle that has led them back from where they began.

What do you like about this character? Dominia Dionae, and an interesting adaptation of a highly aggressive culture to a relatively passive species.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? 7/10

Bygones a good roleplayer overall so I have no concerns or comments regarding that. Lore wise it's sound. It doesn't outright state that X is X or Y is Y but captures the Dominia lore in a believable way.

What is Two of Three doing in Biesel? How did they get to Biesel? What jobs would they be doing on the Aurora? How did they get assigned to the Aurora?

They are within Biesel looking for their missing half. They got to Biesel by shuttle. In Dominia, the only bodyguard you can trust with your life is one you spent your childhood with. Before they were discovered, Two of Three was being groomed for this role within house Caladius. On the station, they would most likely fill a security position. They were assigned to the Aurora by passing its hiring processes.
