Hello. It's been some time, and I hope everything goes well. I'd like to put this out there, as I have a want to return to the community as a productive member. The previous actions of myself are not to be discarded, of course, as they are all atrocious in their own right. The abuse of aministrator status is a serious thing; something that I shouldn't have taken so lightly.

But I would like to contest the permanent ban, if not becuase I want to play, but because I feel like I can help the community again. Aurora has evolved a different way since I've been gone, for better or for worse, and in either case I'd like to have a standing change in that. I want to make a difference, if not in the RP and general 'set standard you want to see yourself' ingame, but also in the Lore. I hope to resume my status as loredev, (At least with the Vaurca,) and simple: Help out.

I'm not sure what else to say. Please, Aurora, I'm open to all questions, concerns, and etc.

In all seriousness I was the person who initiated the sequence of covert getting banned and he's not nearly half as bad as a lot of people here as he used to be.

There's actually one thing which always bugged me a bit. I guess it'd be for Skull to clarify, but surrounding the exact circumstances of your perma.

Basically, the incidents that happened as I know consisted of a few cases of adminabuse (releasing the singulo) along with throwing brains at Hivefleetchicken and trying to mock him for ERP he didn't engage in.

At the time, I opted to first demote you from adminship, then kick you out of the staff (with everybody's agreement) because the problems continued. I believe the stuff with Hive happened around the time of your demotion to a normal user.

Unless I'm wrong, there was a noticeable gap in time between you doing those things/being booted from the staff, and being permabanned, despite no further incidents occurring (that I know of). What you later told me on skype was that the staff in power (after I left/went on hiatus) asked you to post a public apology for your actions under coercion of a perma, and then decided to perma you anyway, I'm not really sure why.

That aside, I think you were banned for issues of character, and considering it's been nearly a year since all this, I do believe you could've had the time to reform your behavior and sort out whatever faults caused you to run into conflict with other people here. (Plus I don't think what you did was even perma-worthy, the abuse of admin/mod powers was already punished with the loss of your rank.)

I don't know if many members of the current staff were even around back in the time you were active here, but for those who weren't, I give my recommendation to grant you a second chance.

Meow, I don't think that's relevant here. Both Hivefleet and Frances were involved with the issue at the time, and I honestly welcome the opinion of anyone about this issue. There's no need to put a silencer on anyone.

He went inactive, and so the issue was stowed for review once it became prudent again. Once it was back up, the issue was reviewed with all staff in attendance, to provide a fresher perspective. Consider it sort of like dealing with cold cases, once they heat up again.

And this is simply not true. The apology that Covert posted, he did so of his own volition, fully knowing the decision that was made before he posted it. In fact, it was made clear to him that an apology is not what we're looking for, but let's keep going. Point one, I never care for apologies. And I would never ask someone for an apology, not as a member of staff. Point two, date of apology post: 20Apr2015; date of ban: 2015-04-19.

Now, if Covert did in fact tell that to FFrances, then I'd probably tell him to go and get bent. Again. Because dishonesty like that is what landed him in that issue in the first place. Of course, the discussion could have been ages old, which is why I'm going to square my own self away, and stick with a response of, "Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh."

I've yet to see a heavy drama carried over to forums because of him, because there's been more nowadays than before, mostly beginning with staff. Anybody punished? No, even the blatant one's are still playing.(which I'm very sure many know of).

I was simply offering insight, as was requested of me. And I added my own opinion on the matter, with a conditional expletive. As the Head Admin at the time of making the decision, I imagine that's relevant? No? I also did explain why my opinion would have been as it was.

Although, I don't imagine the sparking here will be enjoyed by Doom. So how about we take this elsewhere?
