Can you please justify your admin involvement for me regarding the two points I made here: This reeks to me of utter pedantry, excessive punishment, admin babysitting and someone who has a real gripe with someone and no real basis to take out their frustrations. I actually logged out with you to come straight here and post a complaint, I didn't expect you would permaban me for such a trivial offence. Could you also justify why someone with a few minor warnings could go straight from that to a permaban? I have never murdered anyone while non-antag, all of my infraction have been for badly IC combat and all have remained non-lethal. I don't run around as a grey baldie toolboxing people to death and I'm always willing to hash it out with the admins when I get bwoinked.

Then refused my IC explaination that I am trying to do a small bit of damage for someone to notice on suit sensors and come interact with me in order to deal with my illegal brigging. Evidence/logs/etc: I'll let him provide the logs since I was permabanned after leaving. Additional remarks: On his part, it's 100% him picking on someone he doesn't like. I was in a solitary cell, nobody could see me, nobody could hear me (no radio) and even though I was talking to a completely different member of staff (Alberyk), he freezes and bwoinks me within a few seconds of the message.

Without a radio: Zero radio abuse or any kind of radio use had been made between arrest time and removal of radio. Solitary: Warden solitary brigged for murder entirely on the word of an Officer who did no investigation that it was an actual murder. I feel like I should have been placed in a general cell with a radio until such time that a detective could have confirmed it was murder. The crime that was actually committed was stabbing a corpse in the leg aka desecration of a corpse + contraband; not solitary offences. I don't know what to say, I remember Matt Dalmer though, but I would not give out an advanced energy gun, unless I was antag or you were a security officer. Or of course you were a scientist, because then it's entirely up to you too keep it in the Research department. I was a Miner at the time. I think I stopped by to ask you if you had any toys I could use on the asteroid. You gave me an Adv E-gun and later when I told Security you send me an angry PDA message that I betrayed you because it got you brigged.

I've seen Doctor Nanako (the only Nanako I know tbh) repairing prosthetic limbs and using tools to hack her way into Chemistry because there were no Chemists. You were doing the Chemistry only a few days ago, so you obviously haven't stopped. We do always get on well and I wasn't trying to offend you personally but my 'torturous' comment was more a follow on from this: That wouldn't be a very pleasant round for me OOC if this was the person who was running my department.

My first interation with Tom Albright was an interesting one. He gave me an Advanced Energy Gun he made in RnD and I had a lot of fun with it. Great guy, but he would made a terrible Research Director.

In the short time I've been playing, I don't think you're a particularly good RPer. I've seen Nanako Magojiro do things that are far beyond what you can reasonably expect a Doctor's skills to be. I've seen her doing construction, robotics, chemistry. It's not very fun to see one person doing the job of ten; good RP isn't about doing something, it's about knowing when not to do something. I also think being under you in your department would be torturous.

I feel like I addressed some of the historically questionable stuff I've done with this section. I have a bad habit of letting the OOC troll inside me come out every now and then. But 99.99999 ... % of the time I am a very good roleplayer who, I fully believe, enhances the experience of the players around me. I'm not asking to be made a moderator or for any kind of position of power (this would be disasterous). I'm asking for a chance to play an Alien character; one that I know I can roleplay effectively and that anyone who observed me play this game in-character would immediately recognize I have the ability to play excellently.

One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I think the Dionaea are the most interesting of the custom races. Mysterious and obscure; nobody really fully understands them yet. This gives players a chance to play around with their characters a little bit and gives some creative room for roleplay. This would also be my first application for a custom race and I think that Dionaea are the least energetically active so they could serve as a suitable starting off point; giving the player more time to emotive responses and talking. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Dionaea are slow and methodical, both in movement and in how they communicate. While their intelligence is quite advanced, their physical limitations makes it so that to an ignorant observer they would appear to be slow or stupid. They have a completely different naming scheme to humans, entirely doing away with the FIRSTNAME LASTNAME system and adopting descriptors which represent moments in time or experiences that they are fond of. If attacked I would expect them to behave quite strangely; standing there and perhaps asking "What... are... you... doing?" as they have very little self-preservation instinct and do not feel pain. I think they should be limited in the jobs they can have; obviously you wouldn't have a Dionaea Security Officer or Head as their physical speed would make it very difficult to apprehend threats to the station or maintain managerial productivity. Character Name: White Crow going over the hill Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs This Diona began life as a Nymph in the Venter's Satellite. Like all Dionae in his collective, he was imbued with advanced technical knowledge of Atmospheric system and technical efficiency in managing crisis of structural breaches. The gestalt became separated from the satellite when they came into contact with a research ship from the Sol Alliance. He would be part of the Satellite's rendezvous party send to greet the Alliance's researchers. While they did their studies, he became particularly enamoured with one of the Scientists; a Native American man by the name of "Kohkahycumest". He showed to the Dionae the great hills in Oklahoma; the ancient tribal lands of his people. The beauty of the great rolling hills and greenish/red landscape could not escape the Dionae and, in reverence, the gestalt took the translation of the man's name "White Crow" with an imagining of the animal in it's native landscape. "White Crow going over the hill" used his connections with the Scientist to travel outside the confines of the Sol Alliance, but rather, to find himself employed with the NanoTrasen Corporation in Tau Ceti. White Crow knew he would find few from his cluster as he became assigned to the NSS Aurora, but nevertheless, his unique experience could greatly nourish his satellite and lead to an enriched Dionaea. What do you like about this character? Something I like is how this character is influenced by a desire to learn and research the social intricacies of species aboard the Aurora. I like how I can use some knowledge from another character who is native American to influence my knowledge of this one. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I would rate it as moderate. I try my hardest to make decisions using empathized emotions or logic however sometimes OOC emotions can influence IC decision making. It is inevitable. But I am getting better the more I play.
