Ckey/BYOND Username: AgentWhatever Position Being Applied For Wiki maintainer Past Experiences/Knowledge: Worked previously on other wiki's to give pages more functionality navigation-wise and made pages easier to read. I have done the same already with the Aurora wiki Examples of Past Work: The department navigation templates, job navigation templates, the current WIP map layout explanation project, the revival of the construction page and about a ton of small edits here and there on various pages. Updated a ton of images. Additional Comments:I'm back after 6-7 months. If you want to yell at me for what I did, search me up in discord. Otherwise, hi. I missed the crap out of this place.

Failsafe's custom security and combat borg sprites
AgentWhatever replied to AgentWhatever's topic in Denied Apps
It doesn't matter anymore -
BYOND Key: AgentWhatever Character name: Failsafe Item name: N/A Why is your character using this sprite? Because I find it sad that this sprite isn't used at all. It would fit in nicely with the lore I have for failsafe. There's a reason why it does not select security on its own and these sprites hint to why that is. Item function(s): The -s replaces (or is added to the selection of)the security borg sprites, same goes for the combat borg sprite Item description: N/A Item appearance: A modified version of Squats. It's taller, symetrical and has slightly glowing lighting How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? It would insist that there is indeed a reason why the failsafe normally isn't selected for the security department as you could see a clear correlation between the security and combat module. Bring back part of the old airlock behaviour
AgentWhatever replied to AgentWhatever's topic in Completed Projects
https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/issues/2825 -
I'm specifically referring to the part where airlocks automatically close again after a power outage. It's so fucking annoying that after a power outage all crow barred airlocks stay open. The old behavior was that whenever the airlock had power again, the normal automatic door close timer would initiate and it would eventually close on it's own.

We have some amazing new features with the new map, the main one being able to screw yourself over and break everything while falling through holes, with a select view equipped with a jetpack that can go up. Having a gravity generator that can be turned off and on by request would be a major benefit to any antag that doesn't want to screw about with elevators or have the luxury of any advanced item. The added benefit would be that you could send things (or people) through either ceiling or the floor. Things such as floating vending machines, broken cyborgs, a wheelchair, etc. As long as it's not bolted to the floor and small enough to fit trough the hole

YES. I'd suggest swapping nar'sie cult with this.

Devide the light controls into logical groups. A group for everything, then department specific groups and hallways, yadda yadda

"Are you willing to trust our us" No. I do trust the staff with donations, though. Now that we're on the subject: since when did you own the US?

Ckey/BYOND Username: AgentWhatever Position Being Applied For (coder, mapper, spriter): Well, since there is nothing else besides the dev group on the wiki, I'd suppose wiki dev. I am applying for this to clean up, tidy and add to the already existing pages, however. Past Experiences/Knowledge: I helped the minecraft wiki take a consistent form back in the day, same goes for the GTA wiki. That's all far in the past now, though. I'm a fan of standardization. Examples of Past Work: Those neat navigational panels you get at the bottom of the page on the minecraft and GTA wiki, for example. Preferred Mode of Communication (Skype, Steam, etc.): Really doesn't matter besides whatsapp. Steam, discord, skype, e-mail, telegram, yadda yadda. Additional Comments: Again, I'm not thinking about being an actual dev. The wiki is just in a state of disrepair in some parts and I can't stand it. Apply some standardization on it like status indicators of specific pages and adding the appropriate images etcetra.

[Inactive] Player complaint: SomeoneOutThere
AgentWhatever replied to AgentWhatever's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
Did anything happen with someoneoutthere, though? I've noticed him not playing his AI anymore. -
In short, yes. A release date is still pending, however, due to complications in re-implementing somewhat out-dated z-level code. The map itself however is complete, which is why there have been relatively few updates on either thread. (I also posted this in the memorandom thread without knowing the map is apparently finished map-wise but not code-wise) Considering this, could we get updated pictures? I'm also really interested on layout of the infrastructure of the station (Pipes, wires and disposals). Could we get a speciic layout of all this?

Cyborgs

Yes. The images here do not longer represent the current state of the map, nor it shows the entirety of the map! Considering this, could we get updated pictures? I'm also really interested on the progress of the infrastructure of the station (Pipes, wires and disposals). Could we get a progress update on that with examples?

They are equipped to handle pretty much every department in research, including robotics. Would be stupid if they couldn't complete a ripley just because it does not have wire-cutters.

I had no idea.

Much like the cameras, we should be able to decide if we want a newly constructed SMES unit to be on the RCON system or not. People with mischievous ideas could maybe even remove the existing SMES units from the RCON network as a hack to... well... be assholes
-
Sometime it just happens. An antag is being an antag and blows up a substation. We can already construct SMES units, so why not breaker boxes? They could be optionally added to the RCON system via a simple pop-up window.

i think what they were saying was why cyborgs can open doors quickly with that AND also examine and AI can only use that for doors. Exactly
