  1. I literally cannot tell if any of that is sarcasm or being serious considering how you normally post on forums. Regardless, this goes to everyone: It's less of "staff did nothing about it! roar! anarchy! rahhhhhhhh!" and more of "staff weren't paying attention, maybe we should've ahelped". Did you know nobody ahelped the issue? Nobody ahelped the entire issue until the very LAST second before the restart, and then Scopes talked to both Hive and Farcry at the start of the next round. Please tell me how we're supposed to act on something we don't know about because I don't remember us becoming omniscient if we're (such as me and other staff) doing other things until we hear the sound of an ahelp. If nobody ahelps an issue, then don't expect staff to come in immediately or at all.
  2. As it currently stands, this application will never be accepted. I heavily suggest using the entire format.
  3. Right, after reading all that, I'd just like to point out the main thing that got you a ban: You were treated with non-lethal force. What was your response? Draw a revolver loaded with .38 LETHAL rounds and unload them into the CSI's head over a tiny, frankly extremely absurd, dispute between the two of you. Tell me how all of that tells you "Time to murder my coworker without consulting administration at all" because I highly doubt you had a perfectly sane, rational excuse for that. Now, that being said. The main cause for job bans from detective is horrid abuse of your weapon. Want to use it on an armed suspect that's fleeing and you have no other choice BUT to fight? You betcha that's fine. Firing on your co-worker because they kicked you out of their lab? Nope. Job banned. This isn't an issue that stating "I'm new to the game" will get you out of. This is an issue of using common sense and complete and total lack of knowing the rules. Why? Lemme state the following: If you think that a normal, sane person will pull someone at gunpoint for an apology, then you are horribly mistaken. You made mistakes. You broke the rules. You got punished for it. What are we going to do about that?
  4. I mean, I don't see it much as rude, but then again, I can be bad very bad at picking up tones. Now, the main thing I disagree with is muting from OOC for the round for that. Generally, muting for about 10 - 15 minutes is fine imo for first time, and if they continue, then you keep increasing the time until it gets to "for rest of the round".
  5. I mean, if you want to thank staff, then send a prayer or something saying "Thank you (deity of your choosing)!", but not an ahelp as ahelps are for serious things and not for jokes. The IC in OOC rule: Could it have been a minor, funny event? Sure, but staff told you to stop, and you wanted to continue. Coupled with that, if staff tell you to stop something, then you stop doing whatever that something is. Baka simply said "Stop it" after she said "No IC in OOC", and was enforcing a rule before you mocked her by saying that you love it when people end a conversation like that. I'm personally not seeing any issue with her behavior since you kept egging her on by trying to give her a lesson in respect for attempting to enforce a rule as an administrator.
  6. Thread title edited for clarity.
  7. Application approved. Glory to Aurora.
  8. Application approved. Glory to Aurora.
  9. Application denied. If you wish to inquire on why, then PM both Aqy and TishinaStalker on the forums. I heavily suggest you don't reapply until you talk to us on why it was initially denied so that we can avoid the same things in the future.
  10. I'd like to see some actual feedback on this application before Aqy and I render a verdict tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
  11. The windows break because of pressure, not because of fire. I believe reinforced window's threshold is 400 kPa. If there's over 400 kPa, then they start taking damage until they break.
  12. I mean, it's pretty easy to figure out.
  13. I mean, I could find out. Will I? Probably not.
  14. Well, that makes me feel quite a bit better. Thanks for clearing that up, Tish. No sweat, man. Anything to help.
  15. First time posting on these threads and I only wanted to say: Said admin was fired and, later on, permanently banned from the server. Pretty sure that was because I /wasn't/ ERPing, and because he then later told me that no one gave a shit about me. None of the admins did anything to intervene when I was originally believed to have ERP'd, was attacked with brains, and such, though. But I get where you're coming from. Er, I know why, honestly. I was on that time as a moderator or probably shortly after I became an administrator; one of those two. I didn't even know that happened until the next day. That was the same round where we were having an obscenely stupid event round involve worms, nuke ERT, ERT, and Sol army; which generated page upon page upon page of attack logs in rapid succession. I personally didn't even know that had happened on the server with you because at the time I was playing as one of the space worms for the event. I apologize for not having noticed because I assure you I would've done something about it if I had been aware.

  17. Mayyyyyybe. It's all going to be up to execution imo. 1 was alright, 2 was meh, by 3 I just looked at my wallet and said "I'm so sorry for buying the same game three times over", and then we proceeded to have a baby don't hurt me montage.
  18. I don't understand what people see in FNAF. I've played the games and they seem overrated. @_@
  19. Isn't that against server rules? That is most definitely against server rules if I ever see it happening.
  20. You are your own worst enemy.
  21. lmao, I've been saying it since I was a trial moderator.
  22. I'm an admin; I abandoned popularity the day I put in my mod application on October 27th, 2014! ^_^
  23. You were firing an energy carbine set to lethal repeatedly into personnel while on the Odin after the round had ended. From our rules:
  24. "over 50 minutes" I'm sorry but what? We have never taken more than 15 minutes on an issue, but if you'd prefer for us to be limited, make bad decisions because we didn't have enough time, etc. then sure. Furthermore, the only things that will get you in trouble on the Odin is grief and attacking other players. If you don't do either, then you will be perfectly fine, and will have nothing to complain about.
