  1. Andy is one of my favorite robots aboard the Aurora... Adorable, inquisitive, and questioning pretty much everything... It is a shame I don't get to play with you much, but all my experience with this character were pleasant. I would gladly trust this player with this. So yes, I support this with all four. +1
  2. Man... That background makes such a mesmerizing optical illusion when I scroll down with my mouse wheel... At any rate, awesome as ever
  3. I think I'd like to join this succession game as well
  4. I've had a lot of fun playing with Scissors during my first week, where I played Samara's pet mouse. There I was convinced that Scissors is a skilled roleplayer. Support +1
  5. CKey: Enkas Character Name(s)/Position:Terry Paulson/Chief Engineer Extra Notes:
  6. Thing is, in the case of department needing the crate, it would be stamped by a head, and as Jamison did state at the start, a stamp gives a free crate. So I feel like it was completely justified.
  7. I played with Conspire a few times, and while my interraction with his/her character was very minimal, I did like they way this character was played. So yeah +1
  8. He has this understanding, and usually does make some preperations before filling the tanks. He also usually gets someone else to do it, if that is a possibility. And he is also able to clear that room rather quick. Thing is, I added this clumsyness merely because of my early-game mistakes... So... If needed, I can edit it out.
  9. Will edit the character's employment records when I get the chance. And the biography does not have any exact date noted, so yeah.
  10. Already did it. By two years, if that is okay?
  11. Well, to my mind, CEs is probably the head position that requires least of education or experience, compared to the others. Either way, I doubt I can think of a better reason, so if everyone's okay with that, I'll just up his age a bit.
  12. What bothers me, is that there's nothing in her backstory about her education. Hell science department ICly is supposed to be complicated, where great minds actually do science and take notes, rather than randomly stuffing things into the deconstructor to gain points. At best, her backstory skills are more suitable for an amateur engineer, or a very young roboticist. Hell, in real life, people don't hire engineers with no university education, so a research director, let alone a robotisit would be somewhat unlikely.
  13. What about this? D: http://artforgames.com/file/2014/06/ph60_01.jpg
  14. I've played with Kiwi multiple times, and I have always liked his tajara characters... Pretty sure that he'll manage a skrell just as well. +1
  15. I give my full support to Baka. I love his/her characters, and the way Baka roleplays. So yeah, a mindless +1
  16. I remember the first time I've seen you roleplaying, back when we both were very fresh to this server, I've took you for a very chucklefucky person. But... You have improved nicely, and now I like your characters. And thus, you have my support. +1
  17. New computer (which I am probably now going to get :C)

Cylia Tuvies - A somewhat cheerful and naive botanist/chef Terry Paulson - A ginger engineer with a surprisingly wide array of skills Raymond Tanner - An anti-social professional security officer/warden with a perfect poker face. Aeden Nehling - An asshole scientist, who prefers to work alone, and is addicted to coffee. Garry Milders - A fabulous doctor
  19. BYOND key: Enkas Character names: Hartam Belorin, Cylia Tuvies, Terry Paulson, Raymond Tanner, Ayden Nehling, Garry Milders, HAMMER. How long have you been playing on Aurora?: It seems to be over two months now. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: Mainly to fill in the position when there is no head online, to lead the departments I feel comfortable around and for the prestige of the cockpit Why did you come to Aurora?: Well, in a server I played before, I got fed up with constant chucklefucks, and demanded some serious RP. I was advised to go to Aurora, and here I am, happy and no longer suffering from RP withdrawal. Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Of course. Please provide well articulated and argumented answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: I see roleplaying as somewhat improvised acting and a writing of a story with the help of other players. There are no predetermined scripts, and usually rather little prediction. You are developing your character along with other players, and slowly weave a story that you usually don't know how it's going to end. And that lack of prediction is the probably one of the most interesting parts of roleplaying. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The OOC purpose of a head ingame, is supposed to be to keep an eye over how the department works. To guide the people of your department over the more difficult processes and to help the new players learn the ropes in the department. A head should also take the responsibility of watching out for griefers and chucklefucks that may come to the department. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: First of all, is to follow the server's rules to the letter and make an example like that. Secondly, they should roleplay correctly. And thirdly, they should be able to teach the new players the mechanics of the game/department. Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. Character name: Terry Paulson Character age: 31 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Terry was born in Biesel, in the capital of Lowell City. There, he has lived most of his life, growing up in a family of a mediocre wealth. From young age, Terry has been very talented at math, physics and IT. As a teenager, he was interested in electronics, constantly dismantling various electrical equipment, and rebuilding them (not always successfully), until he has finally caught the grasp of those things. His constant inquisitivness and talent in the previously mentioned fields gave him good grades in school, which later ended up in getting an easy spot inside Lowell city's univercity to study engineering. He did good in there, and graduated it at the cost of his social life. And then, he got a steady job as an electrician inside a minor company. While working, Paulson has also been taking some more studies about other fields of engineering. He easily took the grasp of setting up and maintaining various engines, had some studies on atmospherics, and even getting a plumber's license. However, the company that Terry has worked in was bought by NanoTrasen, and that is where his real work actually started. He worked on the NSS Horizon station at first, where he also learned about mechatronic engineering. After several years though, Terry Paulson was transfered over to NSS Aurora, where his skills are continuesly honed, and noticed. What do you like about this character?: Terry is friendly and hard-working, showing great competance in his department, and also taking great pride in his work. What do you dislike about this character?: He is somewhat arrogant, and therefore when he is under-appreciated, or when someone is doing any sort of sabotage, he might get a little aggressive and hostile. Yet despite his seldom aggression, the man is a coward, and would prefer to threaten a person, rather than going into an actual fight. He is also somewhat socially awkward, spurting out wrong sentences to wrong people. . Do you think this character is fit to be a Head of Staff? (Please note that Head characters must be over 30, unless given special clearance): Yes. Why?: Terry is a competant, educated and a hard working engineer. He knows what he does, and is proud of it. He has his own schedule of things to do during quiet shifts, and is able to take innitiative of making new projects to keep his department at work. Please provide well articulated and argumented answers to the following questions. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: 7/10 I suppose. I have been roleplaying for over seven years on World of Warcraft, and while I can't compete with the paragraph-long emotes of some people, I find my roleplaying to be moderately good.
  20. Yes! All my yes! Harusprex is the most amazing robot so far, and his speech is truly unique. I love that robot, and I would like if he had an IPC form... So obviously, you have my support +1. p.s. Harusprex was also a great tool for inquisition!
  21. Oh yes. Played countless hours of this game. Did download a whole lot of mods too..
