Hi, So what happened was: I was told to ahelp you about the fact that you as your pAI was making comments that, although they were part of your laws, were highly sexual in nature and not PG-13. I did and was returned with a reply that was not serious in the slightest. I asked in msay about what to do. This did not take 10 minutes. I went to reply to you asking for you to be serious in ahelps and you had logged off. My self and Tish who was on at the time (and Garn, if I remember correctly) took that as you logging. We did not receive a message from you saying you were logging off. It was then stated in msay that you were to receive a ban. I implemented that.

Do you ever use magnets when swapping weapons?

Yeah solid -1 on this one. This person could have done so many things better when trying to handle their dispute with Jboy. How am I to think they won't carry that over to the players they are meant to be moderating? I have thus far not seenanything in this person which would make me think they are fit to lead.

Its interesting that you paint them while they are still on the sprue. Dont you find it difficult to glue them with the primer and paint on them?

Have you made it your personal mission to make a pun out of every comment you see?

You know what? I am now unemployed. I will pretty up your maps for you, Jackboot, and add Calligraphy to make it seem super-old map like.

Delta (and everyone else using this) STOP using this. It is not yours to use, it is mine. If I choose to bring it up on Nanos app, I will do so. You don't even talk to me, why are you quoting me. Stop it. Nano is young, but he is more then capable of filling this position and would be better at itthen many people who have come before him. I would not imagine he would make a good moderator, but a lore dev? Definitely.

What have you done You've doomed us all...

You're the adult. You choose what that means. For our generation, it's meant that wehave moved past the stigmas placedupon us by our ancestors. We no longer find racism to be the norm, it is in fact shunned. Woman are rising to equality, children are living without fear of war, communication is becoming free and open. People are stepping into freedom and becoming open-minded. As an adult, it isn't about whether you can do laundry, it's about helping people everywhere in the world shake off the shackles of yesterday and move forward into equality. The choice is yours. Don't speak for our generation. I couldn't give a rat's ass about equality or children living free of war, or people becoming open minded. Being an adult to me is realising that I have responsibilities now, and I need to address them. You can't pay bills with your feelings, Thundy. I couldn't remember why I didn't like you...now I do. Peace be with you, good sir. Edit: I realise you said something very key: "Being an adult to me..." You also have a choice, a choice to be responsible or not. Nothing is imposed upon you unless you let it be. You've proved my point for me, thank you.

Hey, me again. With IRL things almost out of the way (I placed my resignation with work, my final day is on the 10th of December) I am requesting that people bare with me as my other engagements take up my time I would normally moderate on. If you would like to move my last week of moderatorship to after that date, feel free. Kind regards. Thun-dogg.

Will when I have time.

Hi, wanna be a bit more specific about what you're referring to?

You have a site to buy them cheap? Hoping not to have to take out a loan.

I was a trial mod once. Between my experience there, and how things usually go for me stress/annoyance wise when playing in round while not a staff member.. It wouldn't work out. I got malf banned because I reacted poorly to a stressful situation; It wouldn't be a good idea for me to be a server moderator in a situation like that. Forums aren't fast paced, take-action-right-now type of situations and I can take the time to sit back, contemplate a situation, and come to a better decision. You know yourself well, I am impressed. I really do hope you getthe position.

I believe coming to a compromise is important. I live by the idea that if someone is not hearing your side or is pushing their agenda without wanting to really come to any conclusion, you take one person with you and you try to sort it out. If that person is still of that mind, take two people and have them watch and mediate. If, after all that, take everyone you can and have the subject brought into the open for others to make a judgement. The idea is to preserve the relationships involved while still trying to come to a viable conclusion to the diagreement Let me give you an example of myself. I was a bald learning on bay when I first started. Since I joined during dead hour so theres like, only one other person online, a friend and I just started messing around with an air lock to try and figure out the mechanics of it worked, venting a room. Bwoink. Explain that I was just learning. "You did a bad, read tehh rules!" 24 hour ban. Okay, head to Aurora, play two more rounds and am starting to get the hang of it. Accidently walk out an airlock when I thought the shuttle had docked. Bwoink. Fuck, I'm banned again. I tell them I'm sorry and it was an honest mistake. Get transported to a room full of moonbears that slowly rip my body to shreds gloriously. That is my experience of leniency verses exact punishment. If, however, my attitude had been different and I had insulted people, saying it was the mods fault for not locking the airlocks or something ridiculous, I would have definitely deserved the ban. A moderators job isnt to exact justice purely for justice's sake, its to find the intent of the person involved and punish them accordingly, IE Manslaughter vs murder. Unlike popular belief, I am actually an incredibly critical person. I judge things extremely harshly at first and hold things to very high standards. Then I stop and think about myself. I compare the persons actions to my own and always fall short. I reflect about how I may have been in the same situation as them and how I got out of it. I think about how I was terrible at roleplaying and the long slow process it was to get to where I am now and how much further I still have to go. Suddenly my first judgement doesn't seem as exact as I first imagined it did. When other people may judgements about my own or others characters, I can't help but think that they see it though the filter above. I always imagine people to have only the most noble intentions and it is sometimes a hard lesson to learn that people don't. To answer the question, I do not have anything against critical thinking no matter what it looks like, however, how you use that information should always be to benefit and help the receiving party. Calling someone stupid is not going to make them smarter and saying they can't roleplay wont make them any better at it. The idea it to help someone when they want the help and walk people through things in a healthy and uplifting way.
