What makes roleplaying this species different than other species? Unathi females are an underclass and a socially/politically inferior race compared to the skrell, dionaea, and humans. Not to mention that their race was subject to puppeteering by humans and skrell during the war. What do you like about this character? See above. Backstory While it wasn't too uncommon for females on Ouere to rebel against tradition, Ilaeza went above and beyond defying her Moghean-born parents. While she was passive during her first private teachings, it wasn't until the age of 12 where she would usually be the first to question or outright deny what was being taught if it conflicted with her Ouerean-like ideals. Her Moghean-born family thought this was a phase that would be outgrown, as long as it was remedied with verbal and physical "correction". At the concern of her parents, Ilaeza was given special lessons at the young age of 16 that emphasize the old ways of the unathi with strict, abusive shaman relatives leading the lectures. Most of this knowledge was stored in written form, and required Ilaeza to formally learn how to read and write at the annoyance of her family. These lectures were poorly conceived, written with heavy Traditionalist Coalition bias, and complemented with tones of anti-human, anti-skrell sentiments that were all too common during the war. While those sentiments generally stuck, the teachings were generally ignored with a shield of heavy skepticism, but however still reluctantly learned and memorized. Fearful of the lectures of traditionalism, Ilaeza began secretly researching other cultures in The Great Ouerean Library as a means of escapism. The texts and recordings were very limited, as most materials on the subject matter in the library were written exclusively by Unathi in the Sinta'Unathi and Sinta'Azaziba languages. She desired to very much read the rest of these texts, and spent 2 years using the locally available books and audio recordings to learn the universal language of science and research: Ceti Basic. Using a rough understanding of the language and several books, she outgrew her skepticism of humans and skrell, and grew an attachment to their culture where men and women were seen as equals. She dreamt of getting off her atomic-war ridden planet to the point where she started secretly saving for a travel visa to one day visit and perhaps live on these social paradises that the Humans and Skrell inhabit. Unfortunately, at the age of 20, her father discovered her hidden cache of credits. Such a thing was never meant for his eyes, as her father controlled every aspect of her finances. This lead to a very intense lashing, and a torrent of verbal abuse. She had enough of it; with the remaining money she had saved up, she applied for a work visa and a shuttle pass, and travelled straight to Mendell city, where she enlisted as a cadet to work for Nanotrasen: The greatest mega-corporation in the galaxy. Final Notes: [*]This character is not a "unathi with human mannerisms and human ideals" character. She has unathi mannerisms and Ouerean ideals that favor individualism; something that Ilaeza strives for. She wants to be treated as an individual with her own motives, not an object who is expected to conform to Moghean/Traditional ideals. The intent behind my suggestion this is to provide medical with a sense of pride and knowledge to players that if you have no reason to be in medical, you shouldn't be in medical. Perhaps a station directive isn't needed specifically for medical.

Trespassing is never enforced in medical and it's only a yellow when something as serious as medical should be an orange. Most of the directives enforced are also crimes of their own. For example, Regarding Modification, Optimization, and Upgrades of the station - Station Directive 5, is vandalism.

Full Directive: Only patients awaiting treatment, doctors performing treatment, and anyone approved by a head of staff or active doctor can loiter inside medical bay unless in the case where being outside medical risks loss of life. I've noticed that everytime I play medical, there's always a group of people with no business to be in medical bay clogging up the hallways and making it irritating for both patients in need of treatment and doctors trying to figure out who needs treatment. This isn't an issue exclusive to AuroraStation, this happens all the time on other servers where people would clog up the halls in medical bay. In reality, people wait in the waiting room. That's why it's called the waiting room. You're not supposed to go along with the doctor if your friend comes in. You're not supposed to loiter around medbay invading the privacy of other patients being diagnosed because you like the drama. People who are in medical and have no reason to be medical is a privacy risk, a safety risk, and a security risk.

First time seeing him, which was about a month ago he was a librarian wearing insulated gloves and apparently he got into some ooc trouble for doing greytide level things. Second time when I was security and the dude was resisting arrest for no in-character reason and giving security a hard time. Today was when I was cook and he climbed over the counter, threw a beaker of flower at me, stripped himself of his clothing, put on a chef's uniform, and started serving uncooked food to others. Security was contacted but they didn't do anything as they were worrying about other things. I would've stuck him in the meatgrinder but alas this is a RP server.

Admins are cracking down on Dionaea players who don't constantly and consistently self-insert multiple... ellipses... after... every.... other.... word... orrrrrr exxxxxteeeeeeeenddddding theeeeeeeeir wooooooords, but lets be honest; it's incredibly irritating on the typing and reading end and makes an already less-enjoyable race less enjoyable compared to other races which have an automatic and very relaxed speech requirement. I would implement it myself but byond is a disastrous language and I struggle with setting up git stuff so I'm asking people who know how to do it to add it for me. Currently crossbows shoot metal rods, but unfortunately metal rods can only be carried in hand or in a backpack due to their size which makes the weapon itself irritating to carry if you do not have outerwear that supports weapon holstering. I think a way to fix this is to make crossbows actually fire crossbow bolts that you can carry in a pocket or in a belt. It's a little weird that the loaded crossbow sprite shows an actual crossbow arrow but fires a long metal rod almost twice it's size. Thoughts?

The reason you probably don't have any notes about him is because it's not worth reporting the incident one at a time. I don't know if this is his way of RPing but it seems his goal is to anger as many people as possible. Every time I see Joe Vick it's usually when he's in trouble for something but it's not trouble enough worth reporting since it's usually dealt with ICly.
