In my humble opinion, smoking pipes are not quite as implemented as cigarettes or cigars are. Mostly in the audio department. There's no sound when you light it, unlike cigarettes and cigars. You also cannot take drags, or light someone's pipe for them by targeting the mouth. Would it be possible to sync it up with the other smoking implements? P.S. Could there be an in-hand for it, one day?

I think that with earbuds you would still need to hold it to use :l or :r.

I think you could tell specific information with some kind of forensics gadget, adding more depth to crime scenes. This could help you determine whose footprints belong to who. Like if bloody footprints are from the same set of footwear or if someone else was present.
-
Yeah. Wouldn't more to that be nice?
-
Whether forensically or just through observation, it would be cool to see what made the footprints. Barefoot? Paws? Boots? Shoes? Sandals? These are all helpful things to know, and you could probably tell by examining. If you want to know what type of boots(workboots, jackboots) or shoes(sneakers or dress), forensic tools could be used? Thoughts?

Basically my sentiments exactly.

I think there's more than one weakness to the radio. You have to go into a menu to toggle the microphone so people only hear what you want them to hear, and right now, everyone close to you hears it. I think the "everyone hears it" part is really obnoxious, and that in-universe characters would feel that way too. If you use earbuds on the station radio, you still have to do the stuff with the microphone in a menu. If you wear earbuds, you cannot wear a headset too. It's still a pretty crappy option even with the earbuds, imo. But it's slightly better.

It's a lot better. I disagree for the reasons I mentioned above, but I appreciate you explaining your points.

That's it? "Bad -1" dismissal At least hear me out or actually debate why it's a bad idea. I think it's a good thing. People act like vomit doesn't exist as is, because it doesn't actually get on anybody or make a huge mess like blood does. And we all know that bloody footprints are far more hygienic. I have a blood bar to wash myself with in the bathroom.
-
Vomit puddles start wet like blood. If you walk in it you leave yellow footprints and your shoes/feet get vomit on them. When the vomit dries this no longer happens. Just to make it more gross, but also consistent with most other puddles that come out of people.

Earbuds that can be attached to a station-bounced radio, so you're the only one that can hear it. Station-Bounced radios remain functionally the same, but don't leak audio. Not visible on character sprite, thus making it ideal for nitpicky xeno players who realize they don't have ears on the side of their head or have nothing for headsets to attach to. Upgrade to station-bounced radio that makes sense, without replacing the headset in the meta. Headsets do not take fiddling and can be used with various commands during your say verb, like ; or :c. Emphasizing the fact that audio can still leak into the microphone, just as normal. And you still have to toggle the microphone on and off to speak into it. If there's anything about this suggestion you do not like, or if there are parts of it you do like but others you don't, it could be tweaked or discussed below. Thank you for reading my suggestion.

I'm excited to see it!

you have got to be joking. it's just adding another piece to the corporate set? "snowflake uniform?" It's a single beret.
-
Corporate jumpsuit is all black with barely a sliver of blue. That's just more of the same by putting a beret on top of that. "Black is tacky" is an opinion, not a fact, you know! Nevermind how you could wear accessories and badges on top of what you have.

We have very polished audio feedback for loading and unloading a .45. There's even a sound of casings falling to the floor when we unload it. Is it possible we can have an additional sound, even if it's recycled from something else, for inserting bullets into a .45 magazine?
-
When we drop a cigarette, we hear a sizzling kind of sound. Can we have that sound play when we put a lit cigarette into an ashtray? Currently it is silent, yet dropping a cigarette and putting it out on the floor or even so much as laying a cigarette on a table is distinct and noticeable.
-
Can we get the blue beret, denoted below, in black? It can have a bright, blue security insignia on it. This way it matches the corporate set in an alternative way. We have blue and navy berets with silver or white insignias. I feel like this would be a cool, additional option.

Plastic fold-out chair and stool. Can be carried in backpack. Takes a moment to place. Portable table can be kicked/flipped like a regular table, but provides no cover and folds back into an item. Ideal for laptops and office-work on the go.

I can see your point.

"That's silly." Yes, you use a keyboard and mouse. More keyboard functions aren't silly unless they disrupt the game, y'know? It's not some new peripheral, like a controller. We already can use the keyboard to mess with airlocks. It's still something you can choose not to do. Just like you can choose to not shut a door with your mouse? We can literally close the door the instant we're on the other side if we want to. Just making it something you can do with your keyboard, while it might be easier, doesn't change what we're already capable of that much.
-
What? The door would have to check your access either way. I'm not suggesting it just ignore your card just because you toggled something. You say it's the desired input, because that's what we already have. I'm suggesting we be able to do something else or have it be something we can push a key on our keyboard to do, y'know? Rather than aiming and clicking. We can already open doors by just walking into them with movement keys. Why can't we shut it with our keyboard also?
-
So having a button to shut doors would be unbalanced? We can already open/shut doors literally as fast as we need to. But that's already beyond the scope of what this suggestion was asking for, just doing it in another way. Plus there's a slightly bigger probability of you messing it up if you click, because you can miss.
-
What if we could just push a button on our keyboard to close the door behind us, then? Something close to the movement keys, so we don't have to aim my mouse pointer for just shutting it.

You could playtest that to see what the community thinks, Kaed. Most of your points I feel are valid, same with Crozarius. Having to hop-skotch antagonists around because you both know they're trying to escape isn't necessarily realistic. It's the meta, but neither the restrained person or the officer enjoy it. If an officer is actively participating in watching you and can interrupt you at any moment, why must it be done so rapidly? Again and again? It's not fun. It's laborous. Keeping someone restrained has never looked right. And it can blow way out of proportion with the shuffling that eventually evolves into downright stunning when they're already in cuffs and just standing there. I agree. Make it easier to hide what you're doing and counteract that by punishing spamming should they be caught more than once. Besides. It really hurts to wriggle out of cuffs, in real life. And it usually requires something other than just your bare hands, but that's infringing on game balance.
