I believe heavy roleplay is just all in all character development and roleplaying in a believable manner rather than something like an assistant killing someone for stealing a cake, that's just goon. For medium roleplay, it's just simple action and emote play, that's all, nobody is interested in character development. I played lots of HL2RP and it was mainly about character development and other stuff, such as an antlion being twice as hard to kill with a melee weapon or a regular SMG/Pistol, since they have "exoskeleton", heavily enforcing play to lose rather than win. Which this server does enforce somewhat as well, bwoinking powergamers and warning them. Also punishing players for bullcrap actions that aren't believable. The only issue why people think Aurora is not heavy roleplay, is the mass of people joining in and messing about, which roleplayers in other hand, have to deal with it without roleplay and go for blatant actions, disarm, etc. Which still, can be heavy roleplay as you're already just doing it. Same situation with HL2RP servers, shooting at people. They enforced shoot to miss rule, but you can hit people in some time, if point blank, just kill the person. That's what I believe. Yeah, Aurora is still heavy roleplay, just that there are rather issues with players sometimes. You're playing a game meant for spessmen to do many silly stuff, if enforcing super realistic roleplay, it'll just look silly, it's hard to do that and many would lose interest, as you can't do much with mechanics.

I missed the fun of antagonism and I'd wish for an unban for all of them, to try and get some good roleplay, since lately I've been out of this quiet zone into trying to find something interesting, but during the (clique?) drama, I couldn't really get into any roleplay and I've been off the server quite a while now. Getting a new laptop by next week, trying to solve issues as of now. I understand that every side has to have equal share of fun, I'll keep that as a rule and promise to not attempt ganky/powergamey actions. I did remember quite fun antag experience as Nukeops with Doomberg mostly, which I seek mostly to try and get more chances of this. I miss vox mainly, as how fun they are, rather than 1v4 with security or just combat. I'd love for a second chance, I didn't really think posting this would change any minds really for couple of players. Worth a try.

HL2:RP OH THE MEMORIES. "donayt to get a double roll in ur powergaming actions", I have no regrets griefing any server when clockwork was shit, but had fun in couple. The drawings are great anyways.

Well, I believe the game mechanics should be known a lot more. Many players have different playstyles and many problems can occur. Surgery and toxins are easy to understand, some parts don't need any wiki references at all if you look how other people play. Atmos is very tricky, I'm not able to understand it fully, but I remember being able to glitch it in some servers, rendering hardsuits useless, fixed by now, so it's really easy to answer why not many know about it. In all honesty, watching people do stuff you'd want to do and referencing some stuff from wiki in mean time would be my tip. And did you really play up to the time you're coming up to seven months? I swear I've haven't seen you back in course of that time, but w/e, I'm up to see Japak moderating, Japak has solid characters and is a chill player indeed, I doubt Japak will really get frustrated in moderating. +1
