Why do you wish to play this specific race?: I've always found dionae to be quite attention-grabbing, from the way they talk to their amazing abilities to enter space without a suit or internals. Their life cycle is also interesting, starting from seeds, to small children, to lumbering adults. The other main thing that I like about dionae is how different they are in comparison to other races. In most sci-fi films there's always some sort of human, animal mix, a synthetic race, yet you rarely do see a plant based species(With the exception of Groot). Identify what makes this species different than roleplaying a human: Dionae are extremely different than humans, more so than tajaras, unathi, and IPCs. They're always curious , lack emotion, and rarely understand basic customs. They also require light to live, and don't talk like an normal person, basically writing a poem every time they open their mouths. Why does this species in particular hold your interest? As I said, they're the most rare kind of sci-fi species I've seen, and their whole concept is amazing. Character Name: A Garden of Peace and Beauty. Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs The nymph eyed it's surrounding carefully, taking in each and every detail. All around him he saw other plants, roses, tulips, great large trees. He slowly moved his way through the garden as he eyed the plants, watching them dance in the wind. For the first time in his life, the nymph turned his head to the sky and stared in awe at the blue sky, white clouds, and yellow sun. As he continued to watch and move, he heard the bustle of the city as he walked along the wall that bordered the garden, and turned back into the garden on a white stone path. The path led him to an old human who sat cross legged in the middle of the garden, dressed in nothing but a bright orange robe. The nymph was afraid, but as he took the blood of the man and talked to him, his mind began to fill with thoughts of beauty, poetry, and peace. And so, the life of A Garden of Peace and Beauty began. What do you like about this character? I like that he's calm, cool, and collected. He doesn't get involved in conflict unless needed and is always ready to help others. So far we got cable ties and stun gloves, but who's to say we can't add in more weapons that you, yes you, the common man can't make? Now, of course these are all illegal contraband but who cares considering the fact you're probably wanted for murdering heads, black magic, other contraband, etc. Spear: does 10 brute damage, can cause bleeding and does the same amount of damage if thrown. Requires a metal rod, cable restaints, and shard of glass. To craft use the rod on cable restraints, use shard of glass on wired rod. Stunprod: Uses more battery life than a stun baton, stuns for 5 seconds. If you run out of power, you could use a screwdriver to remove the cell, and then charge the battery or insert an new one. Requires a metal rod, cable cutters, cable restraints, and a battery. To craft, use the rod on cable restraints, wire cutter on the wired rod, and then add in a power cell. Baseball Bat Simple weapon, does damage depending on material used. Metal does 10 brute damage, plasteel does 20, wood does 5. To create all you need to do is click on a stack of metal, plasteel, or wood planks in your hand and select the option to build a baseball bat for 5 sheets of the material. Molotov Cocktail: Dangerous weapon, not recommended for use. Does burn damage and spreads fire when thrown, has a 1 by 1 tile radius and can be blocked by a shield. Requires a lighter(Zippo, not cheap lighter), empty bottle, sheet of paper, and welding fuel. Fill the bottle with welding fuel, add in the sheet, light and throw. Once you lit the molotov, you have 5 seconds before it explodes and when you light it, there's a 25% chance of it exploding in your hand.

Can we please add in dyeable turbans?

I'd love it if the HoS, warden, and detective spawned with those. Would make criminal hunting easier especially if science could make them for most of security to wear.

BYOND Key: Canon35 Total Ban Length: Permanent Banning Staff member's Key: Rusty Shackleford Reason of Ban: When I first started playing SS13, I played on this server. After awhile I decided to try out traitor during an Autotraitor round, lo and behold I was given the objective of murdering an assistant. I remember buying a parapen, and an e-sword and heading to the bar to discover a mask party going on. Shortly after, my target wanted me to open maintenance so that she could check for something. Seizing the opportunity, I parapenned her, and then chopped her head off with an E-sword. Shortly after, Rusty PM'd me and gave me this ban for ganking my target. Reason for Appeal: I've had a lot of practice with role-playing and playing as antagonist ever since this incident, and this ban also bars me from playing as ERT and dionae nymphs, two roles I enjoy playing. I've played as an admin-spawned antagonist before, and I did do well playing them, sadly most of those times there would be a transfer called before I could put plans into motion. All in all, I'm ready to be a better antagonist than before, and all I'm asking is to be able to prove myself.
