Reporting Personnel: Laszlo Horvath Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Security Officer Game ID: cBG-aG46 Personnel Involved: Kadeem Rakrubijstri, Operations Manager (SCC) - Offender Laszlo Horvath, Security Officer (PMCG) - Primary Witness Clark Coldsmith, Investigator (PMCG) - Primary Witness Secondary Witnesses: Ayajan Kholmatzhonova Barista (NT) - Secondary Witness Aida Styles Off-Duty, Crew Member (PMCG) - Secondary Witness Time of Incident: 0515 (AM) Real Time: NZST 05:25PM, 20/09/25 Location of Incident: Service Sector, Bar Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [X] - Abuse of Command Authority Overview of the Incident: Mr. Rakrubijstri engaged in an 'Auction' of pre-wrapped, pre-made crates within the Bar, all crates and items sourced from the Operations Department, and put together by himself as the only member of Operations on-shift. The crates were sold in the format of a 'Blind Auction' with prospective buyers not being able to see the contents of any of the crates before purchase. Mr. Coldsmith won the auction for the first crate of three set for auction, contents of this crate ranging from beverages, replica display swords and other similar novelty items. Of concern to the Security Department was the inclusion of a military grade, un-blunted, steel knife within the crate. Verbal reprimand was issued to Mr. Rakrubijstri for the inclusion of a clearly defined contraband item within the publicly sold crate, to which Mr. Rakrubijstri began defending his actions claiming it was within regulations to sell the item. It should be noted that his behaviour during this instance was particularly unprofessional. Mr. Coldsmith promptly secured the blade and turned it into the Security Department. During this time, the second crate was auctioned by Mr. Rakrubijstri, with no buyers placing bids on its contents. Mr. Rakrubijstri unwrapped this crate, opening it to reveal an additional, crude ceremonial blade of unknown origin, once again being un-blunted and clearly considered under the terms of contraband. Informing Mr. Rakrubijstri that this blade would also be confiscated caused him to become defensive and uncooperative with Ofc. Horvath and the newly arrived Mr. Coldsmith. Mr. Rakrubijstri claimed that the blades were not considered under the term 'contraband,' to which Ofc. Horvath began to quote directly from the 'S.C.C - Internal Security Department Contraband Guidelines.' The linked transcript, recorded by Mr. Coldsmith, will evidence the aforementioned. After the completion of this, Mr. Rakrubijstri left the scene, returning some five to ten minutes later with a 'Notice to Cease and Desist for Specific Activity.' This document is attached within the evidence section. Ofc. Horvath, during this time, searched the remaining crate for contraband, none further being found. Leaving the scene, Mr. Rakrubijstri verbally warned and threatened of administrative consequences for not adhering to his documents multiple times over the common channel, the exact wording being able to be located in on-shift communication logs. At 0542 (AM), some twenty minutes after the auction, Mr. Rakrubijstri arrived at Security, handing an NFC-0106 Executive Permission document to Ofc. Horvath, its contents linked below within the evidence section in two parts due to the documents size. It should be noted that Mr. Rakrubijstri continued to issue verbal warnings and threats of administrative action toward both Ofc. Horvath and Mr. Coldsmith over radio. After filing and recording all of the following documents, Ofc. Horvath departed for residential quarters. Submitted Evidence: Transcript, Bar Contraband Guidelines Cease and Desist Notice NFC-0106 Executive Permission Notice Contraband Items, Fingerprint Report Would you like to be personally interviewed? [ ] - Yes [X ] - No, unless necessary for clarification or elaboration purposes. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why? - No, the only Head-of-Staff on-shift was the Offender. Actions taken: - None Additional Notes: The behaviour demonstrated by Mr. Rakrubijstri is both highly unprofessional and incredibly out of line with the expectations of S.C.C Command staff. Mr. Rakrubijstri efforts to both contradict S.C.C Operational Guidelines, bend definitions of contraband, distribute dangerous objects to crew, issue unjustified injunctions and documents against co-workers and directly threaten unjust administrative action over the aforementioned is not cohesive to a safe or stable work environment.

Persistence across rounds - Feedback and follow-up
gladiatorgames123 replied to FabianK3's topic in Projects
Hey'a! I'm aware that, as mentioned earlier, persistent cash is not quite in reach, but I wanted to offer an idea as to how it might be structured if we're able to get a system together. As part of the loadout screen in the 'Other' section that's mostly empty of details each job has a default 'paycheck' rate (E.g, every round this number adds to the bank account of the player), then to not make it always a constant inflow of cash if you don't often spend money at vendors, there is also an 'expenses' rate (Every round, this amount is subtracted from your bank account). Again, could be a set default for every job or just a universal expenses rate. Players can modify both their paycheck rate and their expenses rate to reflect differing contracts/companies pay, differing accommodation expenses, maybe a player is paying off some Idris loans, etc, etc... Additionally, players can add or take away from their accounts in their loadout screens. Reflects stuff like them having just purchased something, or maybe they received a bonus from work. I understand that there maybe issues with players just giving them thousands and thousands of credits at their leisure, but I feel like we should place a bit of trust in the players to do it right, and if any proper issues come up with people abusing it, it'd simply be an admin issue of fail RP or something of the kind. They are, afterall, digital spessbucks... Also allows players to, after being robbed by an antag one round, bump their account back to its original, canon amount alongside. -
An absolutely superb gamemode from what I could tell! Despite the fact I had only joined in mid-round, I noticed that nearly everyone was engaged which was super awesome! Of course, some people had to sit around and wait for their part to play, but this is expected in rounds such as these. It feels incredibly refreshing playing in such a gamemode as this, where people are able to break the typical mold of doing round set up then simply... Well, waiting for things to happen from the antags. Even from my perspective as an O.M, having little to do with the frontlines, combat or anything of that matter, I found it really quite engaging. I had jobs to do, things to organise, people to talk too and plan with alongside watching the absolutely amazing work of the engineering team build up! It'll of course be a matter of time and experience to figure out if I have any major issues or problems with the gamemode, but for the moment all I can say is I have issue with the fact I can't already get my grubby mitts on Storyteller... I am just so happy something like this is coming into fruition and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's made of the mode!

accepted NM - IPC Application
gladiatorgames123 replied to NM_'s topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Need I say anything at all to this RPing menace? Just look at the application! There hasn't been a single interaction I've had with NM that's been negative, not with their characters (Of which are superbly well roleplayed) or their OOC person, they're just... Incredible, that's that. Genuinely, single handedly the best roleplayer I've met to date! Just give the goober the WL! +1 -
Opossum's a propa' geeza', reckon they'd do real good'un stuff. +1 On a real note, been talking and interacting with Opossum every now and then over the past couple years and I gotta say they put in a great deal of effort into their characters, making real unique and stirring roleplay. Perfectly fit for the mantle of Command, I reckon, give 'em a shot!

Add plate-carrier holsters to Security Equipment/loadout.
gladiatorgames123 replied to VeteranGary's topic in Archive
Big plus one from me. Just like Gary, I maybe biased as a Secmain, but these vest holsters never get issued or used really apart from one or two officers who specifically ask for them once in a blue moon. I certainly haven't seen anyone specifically ask for or even receive the holster while I've been on. Just adds a bit more flavour and functionality to Sec loadouts while offering only a minor buff, really. Don't reckon it'd exactly be an overpowered addition. -
G'day, folks! Your local SecMainâ„¢ here to give a few pieces on Fluffy's work as a HOS. I've been able to play with a few of their characters over some time alongside a fair few rounds with Fyodor, so I reckon I can place my thoughts here. Ultimately, I'll have to say that Fluffy's done well, but I'm not sold to the point of giving a plus one, so I'll hand over some thoughts. From my experience, Fyodor needs to work on communication with his team. Now, trust the fact I most certainly understand that the Head of Security can be one of the most challenging roles in relation to communications on the server, with players often having to juggle their team, command radio and listening into common all the while they sort out whatever they themselves are doing. But with what I've seen as an underling, Fyodor tends to have patches of radio silence, no communication, no answering questions. Of course, these could have been flukes, one timers, but it's happened frequently enough for me to worry about it and I've noticed it even at times where there is no antagonist activity. I'll be sure to update this if I see that this isn't the case. I'm unsure what it looks like on the Command side of things for him, but perhaps any Command players with Fyodor as HoS could let us know what it's like from their perspective in relation to communications. In relation to communication, I'm unsure if this is an OOC or IC thing but I, at times, find that Fyodor's orders are somewhat muddy? A combination of, at times, not responding to questions and at other times, not providing clear instruction on what to do. I'm sure with further time some of these kinks will be ironed out and I look forward to having you on the team in future, good luck soldier! P.S If anything changes in play, I'll be sure to update this!

I've come round to offer my greatest plus one to Batman here! Comrade and his characters, particularly Ren Hartfort, have been some of the most engaging and well thought out character's in my time playing on Aurora. The passion, detail and dedication he has is truly astonishing... Words cannot detail how confident I am that Batman will make an excellent addition to the Command team with his care and diligence surely to be reflected in his new Command char. God bless, Ren... One day you'll become CMO yourself... Major +1 from me.

I've known Opossum for a bit of time at this stage and I had the pleasure of watching the Squall suit grow from its one tone shape to the beautiful final sprite it is now and I must say that with Opossum's character, the suit's a near perfect fit for them! +1 From me, good luck!

Swung by to put in my piece for Nato! Personally I've had a fair bit of time with Nash Slater and Mailka Hirron specifically and from what I've had the pleasure of experiencing, they've been great! Their characters always seem to display a sense of grounding, yet always hold a unique nature, especially with the man, Nash! I'm looking forward to hearing more about Malika as I've not been able to talk to them a lot, but from the app and what I've been able to see with them, they'd make a fine addition to the command team! +1!

It would be a crime for me to not swing by Kelnor's app, so here's my little piece! Kelnor's a pretty damn good Medical player from my point of view, often likes to interact with crew, builds great relationships not only with people within her department also outside of it, myself included! Not to mention the fact that Kelnor ICly and OOCly is great at ruthlessly bullying teaching new players to Medical! Kelnor would make a great addition to the command team, and Hailey, even more so! Best of luck, Kelnor! +1

Of course! Focusing myself on trying to keep things 'calmer' with my characters and keep grounded. As for the parole part, I believe it got lost in translation, he wasn't trying at all to parole Dennis, simply give him something to do while he sat in the Brig. Though I can see why people could view it the other way! Anyway, appreciate your comment! Thanks for stopping by!

BYOND key: GladiatorGames123 Discord Username: GladiatorGames#4844 Character names: These are all the characters I have ever made/played, to save you from having to scan through the list, the most commonly/recently played of mine will be just below. I have an addiction. Help. Sevastian Yevgeniy, Dakota Shepherd, Erik Valbrandsson, Chain. How long have you been playing on Aurora?: I've been playing on Aurora since early 2019, having taken a break in 2020 for some time, but from then on, I've been playing rather consistently! Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? I'm afraid so! While I've received some administrative actions from 2019 which are long cleared up now and not going to be resurfacing issues anytime, I have had my whitelist stripped for the live execution of a Mercenary/Raider combo member over radio as a HOS. Suffice to say it was not my proudest moment... Since then I've reread the rules and expectations for a Head, especially in the Security position and now well and truly know what limits I have and should keep. If you have any questions as to what happened or wish for a more detailed explanation, feel free to hit me up on discord. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: Personally, I believe a Head of Staff's OOC purpose ingame is to teach and develop players. By this I mean that Heads of Staff should be some of the first people to reach out to new players and teach them on the basics, intermediary and advanced levels of departmental play, all the way from a more ingame sense of how to physically do your job, giving these new players more OOC tips and tricks to make life easier for them or even down to ways how to roleplay better, getting in touch with those who may ask for a helping hand and providing them advice on how to improve their play. On the other hand, Heads of Staff also should serve to develop players that are past the point of learning how to use mechanics, teaching even more experienced players new ways to do things that maybe more simple or even simply acting as a guiding hand for finer refinements of characters of players who've been around for a while. For example, I remember when I had been playing within Aurora for a long time within Security, I was familiar with the mechanics, how to roleplay, how to create a character more in depth, but a Head of Security was able to show me how to go beyond that and improve my roleplaying skills so that my roleplay wasn't to achieve a mechanical outcome but instead to roleplay and use it for roleplay purposes. Things of that sort! What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: The OOC responsibilities of a Head of Staff to others is similar to what has been explained above, a whitelisted player should serve as a 'pillar of the community', being an approachable, dependable and helpful part of the community, serving as a go-to person for people needing assistance. Perhaps someone needs an extra helping hand in learning how to work in a department and using its mechanics? these whitelist holders can help with that! Maybe someone needs help creating their character or even writing their very own whitelist? These Heads of Staff can help! Or perhaps someone simply wants to know something as mundane as where can I go to ask X question? Well, yet again, the whitelisted player is there to lend a helping hand. With all of the values above, I intend to embody them, being completely free for anyone to hit up for whatever information they want! Or maybe even if they want to just have a chat, I'm always free to talk to! Alongside being a pillar of the community, these whitelist holders should also strive to be a representation of how players should act OOCly, being sure to obey rules and setting examples for people to follow. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? The year is 2464 and tensions are high as ever around Tau Ceti... Waves have been made within the SCC at the recent mutiny within the SCC's poster child ship, the Horizon with multiple crew and important members of staff having been suspended, or completely terminated from the SCC's payroll, alongside the internal issues within the 'Great Chain' there have been multiple significant events around the spur of which should be noted. The further fracturing of the Solarian Alliance has caused an ever growing power vacuum of which has turned once peaceful space into a violent brawling ground for warlords, while the Alliance proper licks its wounds. Within the not so distant Elyra, peaceful protests spurred on by Phoron shortages and other various issues have just been stomped out, causing civilians to question the true intentions and morals of the government they once viewed as protectors. Alongside this, further issues have occurred pertaining to Biesel space, with protests within the Industrial center of New Gibson assisting in the ending of the much hated Peacekeeper mandate. Generally Tau Ceti has become an unstable ground of which has been facing further increasing issues exasperated by the lack of Phoron, with governments all around struggling to detract from this issue, with those who especially can't distract from it facing protests as seen in Elyra... Dakota Shepherd has seen the writing on the wall, having been laid off from the Solarian Navy due to the sudden shrink in budget following the great collapse, he's moved on from contracting and living within Sol, moving to greener, more stable pastures. After some time of roving and seeing where further contracting could take him he wound up in Biesel, facing 'issues' with employment due to his background and generally having a more sour experience all relating to his past in the Solarian Navy, after some time he was able to score a contract on board the SCCV Horizon, attempting to rise himself upward to the rank of Chief Engineer due to his past experiences in Command roles aboard Solarian Vessels, but just as much as this experience would help secure him this roll, it has hindered him just as much. But, with some time and toning down of his 'positive' attitude toward Sol, he's been able to secure a position of Chief Engineer, under the close supervision of SCC officials... What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Chief Engineer (Primarily), Executive Officer (Depending on if I feel as though I wish for more variety) Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yes. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Dakota Shepherd (Chief Engineer), Christopher Turner (Executive Officer). Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes. Have you linked your byond account to the forums? I'm not exactly sure! Some part of me says yes but I am not one hundred percent sure. Extra notes:

I've been around since this beautiful players first fateful days in Aurora and I have had the absolute pleasure to meet nearly all of his characters. Without a doubt in my mind I can say that JayJay would be absolutely stellar as a command player with the amount of care and effort that goes into his roleplaying and characters! Love you to bits, mate! Hard +1 to you!
