I've been here for the longest possible time, and I feel that standards have slipped, I don't really play anymore because I know I will be met with several silly characters who just fuck around most rounds (When I say several, I don't mean specific ones, just in general). A lot of things that were once shitty, and Ahelpable offences now get written off to "It's IC," or "Give it to CCIA" even when they can't do crap about it.

Generally we do not treat cases involving dead crewmembers as canon for obvious reasons, I don't know if Owen wants to take this as IC, but I would certainly just throw it straight back to admins.

I will say that there is a strong stereotype against female medical characters, specifically ones with Japanese names and brightly coloured hair. There has been a loooong history of such characters displaying very poor standards, ignoring their jobs, going 0-100 in a matter of seconds if someone offends them, etcetera. This isn't just Hive being silly, it was a severe and endemic problem for some time. Also, most of these characters were lesbian, and constantly sought out other women on the station. I /think/ most of them have gone, or changed now, though I don't server often, so I am probably not the best judge.

Better than the sprites I originally made to get onto the dev team. Interested and motivated to try and improve things. +1 from me.

I'll point out that the SS13 subreddit has always hated Aurora, ever since it's inception, however, seeing as how Aurora can regularly hit the top of the hub, and rival players to GOON, Colonial Marines and Baystation; it is self-evident that Reddit has very little influence on the SS13 community, and I, among others, ignore them as a matter of point. Saying things like "Reddit doesn't like it" or similar will just get you laughed at.
