Just a concept, they had to make a cover for a game case, including something written on the back, so I got asked to do it.

One of my friends at college asked me to write a short video game intro; for their art project, what do people think? The great empire of Iistavar has long flourished on the ancient continent of Sceptri, home of ancient sources of magic, and their devout protectors. Ancient secrets, older than man itself are unearthed beneath the rule of Mathye Reyne, the wise and aging king of Iistavar. Tensions are rising amidst the noble houses; the succession of King Reyne is unclear, and without an heir, the empire could spiral into destruction as rival houses wage war for the crown, and ownership of the immense continent. A brewing war pales, however, compared to an even more primordial threat that grows in the darkness; ancient, malevolent races, long thought extinct, move in the shadows, supported by spirits of profound malice and greed. That which was buried long ago is stirring, and only a unified empire would have a chance of survival in the coming storm. And so it comes to you; a letter of great importance forced into your hand by a dying courier, his wounds wrought by no mortal hand; you must travel across the mysterious continent, from the ancient city of Kreskal, the the decadent metropolis of Yarvih, seeking out the strongest among the land’s inhabitants to face down a threat that would see the world die. Do you have the audacity to petition the slumbering dragons for aid? Or to travel in the great forest of Kriotar and attend to the primal rituals of the druids to come face to face with their enigmatic leader? And most of all, do you have the strength, and the will, to lead these great warriors to victory, for they look to you now, for instruction, and guidance; hero.

First session has occured! With nat1s all round! The pacifist rogue misfired her bow and nearly killed a civillian; and tore the leg off of a kobold. The bloodstained barbarian turned a kobold into a meatclub. The diminuative bard spent all her time running around and hiding under the Barbarian's loincloth. The disturbed tiefling turned two kobolds, one a prisoner, into blood grenades; and obliterated every group he got close to. And the fighter with an alignment somewhat south of neutral got cabertossed 25 feet by a Kobold ((YOU NO TAKE CANLE)), and brutalised every captive she could lay her hands on.

Telaya steps out with the men, cleaning her dagger on a scrap of cloth, then rearranging her light furs around her shoulders.

When Deathsting is used, it causes the arm of the user to transform into a giant scorpion tail appendage and stab the victim, in bright red text.

So, your idea of how the round should have gone is immediately stuncuffing Stamos, shoving him in a straightjacket, tossing him in the permabrig with an implant and leaving him to SSD? You picked a fight with the antag unprepared, you got wrecked.Unless Mirk hunted down random civillians and deathstung them for shits and giggles, I don't see the reason for this complaint. You tried to kill Stamos, Stamos tried to kill you. He survived, you didn't. If you cant handle losing, play on Hippy or Goon for a while to sharpen your robusting skills. If anything, blame Bay for removing paralysis stings, which would have allowed Mirk to stun you and get away instead of murdering you. Staying civil in threads promotes cooperation towards constructive discussion. I am in agreement with Sue and Meow on this point; absorbing monkeys, rather than actually interacting with the crew, is exactly like stealth-cult, stealth-nuke, a scientist maxing out RnD and walking around with a Peacemaker. It presents an unfair advantage to one side, and deliberately removes player interaction and roleplay for game mechanics; practically the definition of power-gaming. If any of the examples I gave happened, the admin team would disrupt it immediately, as it is unfair to the rest of the players on the server to be subjected to rampant powergame/metagame, just so the antags can get their greentext, rather than fulfilling their actual function, which is to make the round interesting and fun for everyone on the server. This does not mean that the antag should not fight back, and try and win, but it does mean that they have responsibilities beyond simply causing havoc. In the same way that security also has a responsibility to not just disable the antag, which was being respected here, as they were using a tracking implant, rather than a loyalty (Which I don't believe work on changelings), or perma-brigging. Security seemed to be allowing the antag to escape, through the implant, and therefore encouraging a continuation of the conflict they caused, while the antag went straight to lethal attacks with only marginal provocation.

I remember you giggling while making Amy's music player.

+1, I have never had anything but good experiences RPing with your characters, ((Apart from that one time Rose accidently drilled though the floor outside cargo while Dilgan was trying to teach you to mech. That was funny.))

Telaya slips through the crowd, yanking her dagger out of the back of the unfortunate drunk before quickly leaving through the front door.

I have one of the most ridiculous, insane characters on the station. Shitting in someone's birthday cake because they're unrealistic while I myself have fun with something unrealistic would be immensely hypocritical, and that is where my complaint lies. Certain people's creed of "absolute unquestionable realism above all" seems to extend to everyone but themselves. Then change your character, or, as Bokaza did, put up a complaint against yourself, so the community can decide.

Telaya turns and hurls a blade at the back of one of the attacking drunks, smiling with satisfaction as it hits home with a wet thunk, before taking a last draft from her drink, and standing up.

Stickman battlefields, and maps, are the only things I can draw.

After talking to my resident biologist, it is very, very difficult to eradicate a disease, the entirety of a generation has to be immunised to disrupt a disease, while several consecutive generations have to be immunised to kill it. Now, since colonists left Earth, it can be assumed that they were immunised against diseases, and the areas were sterilised, however, any unlicensed transport from Earth to another world could bring the disease, which would spread like wildfire among the now, un-immune population. There are also new disease from other worlds, which would have to be thought up.

They are relatively minor characters that show up at briefing and debriefing.

Telaya calls out over the hubbub of the crowd, "Some of us are trying to have a quiet time here!"

All characters are ((just about)) done, so the first session should be sometime over the coming week, depending on everyone's availability. PM me the times you are available to play, and I will set up a session.

I could fit an engineer in, in fact, it makes sense for there to be someone with engineering experience on this mission.

((All races allowed)) Looks good to me, Bokaza, could you PM me some basic personality info? So I can get things along the right track from the start. So everyone knows, nothing will be publicly posted until it has been looked over the the owners of the involved characters, so they can check if I got the characters right.
