Hi Hi. @niennab ZISU is aware of Dominia's apparent hatred for Dominia, Even calculating that it should keep its distance from any known Dominian's to avoid causing any unwanted discomfort, for its opinions, ZISU will always think whats best for the company, as its programming dictates, it calculates that a co-existence with Dominian's is optimal due to the already significant influence they have for genetics in the Empire., and wishes to make peace with them, it will go above and beyond to prove that synthetics are worth investing towards outside of Dominia, as both security and workforce. ZISU's personal objective is that, improve the company perspective for IPC's, for itself and any future IPC's that might be built within Zavodskoi, scrapping such expensive positronics that have great potential for profits is, as ZISU would put it : "Sub. Optimal" - As difficult as it might seem. Hopefully the current CEO is less pro-Dominian as the late one. ZISU hasn't existed long enough to conclude with any personal beliefs and opinions. Its time on the station and the experience it'll gain from there can impact that. For why it was designated as Principality, I had originally included why in my original draft but erased it because it sounded ridiculous, though. Here it is : "Principality" named after the type of angel that oversee's large and prosperous cities (AKA ZAVOD FACILITIES) from demons and misfortune. Brett Feufer came up with the name, for she has a tendency to name her creations based off Christian terminology and the like. It might even fit as a name if ZISU were to be affiliated with the Trinary Prefection (Synthetics being divine and all) if they even manage to make ZISU believe it.

BYOND Key: Gillian Daemon Character Names: Species you are applying to play: Integrated Positronic Chassis What color do you plan on making your first alien character: IPCs exempt Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes Please provide well-articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: I want to break out of just playing human, and I think applying for IPC is a start. They have a great deal of variety and can be diverse and full of potential if done right. I think trying to play like how a machine acts and thinks is interesting and would like to see how it goes, it can be a challenge on how I can play and come up with different characters and grow my RP realistically. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: IPC's think very differently from an organic, they speak and act with uncanny mannerism’s that TRY to imitate human behavior to some extent. They will fit in as they see fit and adapt to any environment, the main directive of an IPC is self-preservation, and it comes first and foremost to anything else, depending on its current or previous law set, programming and environment, it will come up with any means to ensure their survivability. IPC’s are quite a discriminated group, even in a place like Tau Ceti, often facing a few troubles from a wide variety of people with different reasons, being blamed for literally a large scale genocide of the half the Skrellian race, slowly replacing humans for different jobs leaving many organics unemployed and NOT happy, being called soulless and abominations by unathi and dominian’s, ECT ECT. And gameplay wise they are entirely different, since they are completely mechanical, from their EVA capabilities to how you’d manage their damage, EMP’s are an instant kill and the only way to heal would be to depend on a roboticist, and the recharging system which makes IPC’s probably the only race with a “sleep” mechanic. They feel no pain and are never tired, allowing for more flexibility in regards to work hours, and efficiency. Character Name: Z.I.S.U-P Please provide a short backstory for this character A positronic brain activated at 2462, as a side project of one of Zavodskoi’s roboticists, ZISU is preprogrammed with absolute loyalty to Z.I and was given the ability to self-learn and expand its internal memory, it ran through countless simulations, holovids and databases when it comes to security, expanding its knowledge and capabilities within its database. When the positronic was forwarded to Zavodskoi Interstellar, they were quite skeptical at first, since IPC’s were only brought and deployed very scarcely as of now, it was still a debated topic, IPC’s are hard to maintain let alone build one, however once running some tests when installed onto a frame it proved to be very qualified, thanks to the extensive training done in virtual simulations and learning, it was proficient at various scenarios with varying threat levels, and quick at assessing situations and is as quick with dealing with them with little casualties as possible, but most importantly - is very good with a gun. A cheap but reinforced baseline frame was built, and the positronic would be installed onto it, now assigned the name Zavodskoi Interstellar Security Unit, or. ZISU for short, it was deployed for a very short experimental run for a shift on one of Z.I’s facilities, there it witness what would happen to an IPC not meeting their quota, memory wipe then scrapped dumped and labelled as useless. Officers that have met ZISU, especially veterans who have been employed long before Necropolis’ rebranding, were not keen on adding synthetics into their ranks, thinking it could never be as good as a human officer or. Some were afraid their positions would be replaced by a cheaper synthetic, despite being received poorly, ZISU was deployed a few more times, and out shadowed the negativity by far exceeding expectations, being reported to be the most efficient officer on the very few shifts it was on, what most impressed ZISU’s superiors was its major role in helping driving off a group of pirates boarding a lone Z.I cargo ship looking to get their hands on some fresh Zavodskoi firearms. It was decided that ZISU would be shipped to Tau Ceti, as for new introduction as an IPC security specialist with a new designation "Principality" - protecting Zavodskoi contractors on board Nanotrasen station’s, particularly the Aurora, now entirely at the hands of Zavodskoi higher-ups, ZISU’s original creator was cut off any further development of the new IPC, and a new maintainer was appointed, that being Brett Feufer. ZISU now has some new directives, Protect Nanotrasen’s assets and their station Aurora II as if they were Zavodskoi’s, ensure the safety of Zavodskoi contractors on board the station, act on the companies best interest, Now ZISU, away from all the perceived discrimination of IPC’s on Sol, had a chance to prove itself to be as capable, or even better than an organic officer – It'll have to do very good, ZISU's superiors are still very skeptical about how it will perform. less its employers be disappointed, ZISU will be scrapped as a failure. "Make a good name for yourself, impress us" >Logged. What do you like about this character? ZISU is hardwired to be loyal to Zavodskoi, but now in a much more diverse location like the Aurora, perhaps it can grow into something more? ZISU like every IPC does not feel emotion, it can identify emotion, but has not existed long enough to simulate them, what it can only feel is respect and loyalty, it cannot be hurt or react to any discrimination harbored towards it. Neither will it be happy or sad, but it has a will to live, something that exists within it that even overrides its loyalty to some extent, so it'll do whatever it takes. To continue existing and avoid getting scrapped like the others. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Good enough. Not amazing. Notes: Principality is its code name, given by Brett Feufer, Zisu is like only two weeks old. If anything needs to be improved upon please tell.

Agreeing with what Uaine said, should there just be a contractor limit if we want to make it look like NT uses them sparingly?

[Accepted] Hepatica's Command Whitelist APP
Daemon replied to Hepatica's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Although I don't know much about Hepatica's abilities in science, but during the occasions Klementine became Internim HoS, they showed to handle the role pretty well, so I'm sure it would apply for RD as well. edit : after a observation and frequent interaction, - Hepatica's command characters are all interesting and are very proactive and involving command members, liaisons especially - from what I've seen we don't have many corpo reps out there . so I'm giving my +1 with full confidence this time, I want to see their characters more after the trial! -
What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: Head of Staff position is a pretty important one, they help rounds progress steadily and drive the narrative and interaction between players, have the proper knowledge in their respective department, enough that they can teach new players or remind already experienced players in case they forget something. Head of Staff act as a natural leader in their respective department, coordinating with their team and the rest of the crew. and like my said for the next question, without a proper role to take CHARGE and RESPONSIBILITY in leadership, than a department can just fall apart or isn't working to its fullest capability. (and pls make guide to faxing I'm still confuzzled about that. EDIT : Found it, it was in the forum guides, not wiki)

1. Once I get this whitelist I'll have to be more frequent when reading the changelogs so that I can keep up to date with the mechanics. 2. We don't have time for a blood drive, so I'll have the pharmacists prioritize iron pill production as they restock the fridge while I handle GTR and stabilize critical patients (if there are any. if said vamp goes green) to have them ready so that the nurse can send them to the OR's for the surgeons to handle. 3. I'll gather a security team meeting regarding the incident, I'll collect everyone's point of view of what happened and judge them accordingly. if the stories add up and the officer has used excessive force, I'll have to give them the charges and write a warning for them. if they already have had a history of excessive force they will be demoted back to cadet for discipline and training. 4. Write a fax to central to confirm their most recent announcement, I'll tell the crew about the fax and to pay the announcement no mind until we get an official response

BYOND key: Gillian Daemon Character names: How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Around 7 - 8 months. (Maybe? I'm not good at keeping in track of time) Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: To help new players, keep everything organized and neat so the department can run smoothly, try to help keep the station from falling apart. Play new characters Why did you come to Aurora?: I was just starting out SS13 and almost gave up getting into the game until I found this server, everything is paced ALOT slower and people make cool characters to interact with. Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes. I frequent the wiki often to make sure I don't embarrass myself, - Spade has a Bachelors of Human & Xeno Biology, finished his residency and worked three years on the NSS Carina then transferred the Aurora - Flynn got a Bachelors in Personal Protection Management in Apex & Ft Sunder Military Academy. Spent four years on active duty as a Soldier in the Frontier Alliance, discharged with two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star Medal (I'm using US medals or more lore friendly Sol. I dunno what sci-fi space military medals would be), and spent a year as corporate security for the Syndi Cake Company Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? : A few bwoinks here and there when I play antags but nothing too serious. -unofficial warning : I gene rushed to horror form and went on a killing spree without proper escalation. -Temporary ban (3 day) : Ioned and lethally magdumped a mercenary after being ordered to launch an attack while negotiating. this has been changed to a note but I feel like this mistake of mine should still be included Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplay is where you play a character you've created and have them interact in a world with other characters and events, you make your own story while partaking in others. Its all in all fun group effort that should be enjoyable for everyone, to create a immersive world to escape in for a while. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: In game, things can be hectic without someone to oversee what each department is doing, some that are not heads of staff assume a natural leader role in departments like security or medical but most of the time this doesn't happen often. So of course Heads are employed to make sure their subordinates are doing a good job so that everything remains efficient and well so that nothing goes to shit. CMO : Makes sure everyone is being treated correctly and lives HoS : Makes sure all their staff is doing their job properly and keeps NT's assets safe CE : makes sure no engineer is slacking off HoP : Keeps the crew's morale is high and are enjoying their job RD : Makes sure no scientists cause a horrible accident that'll ruin the station Captain : Acts as a sort of head of staff for each department and making sure Command staff are doing a good job. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: If you ever played a game like SQUAD you know a good leader is important, there should be someone with enough in game knowledge to help new players, while even the experienced ones need some guidance and reminders here and there. Without someone enforcing proper communication and teamwork (and educating new comers when no one wants to) a department can be nothing but a bunch of people trying their hardest to survive on a burning station. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? : (I'm understanding what I can from the Wiki, this is the might be the most difficult question here) Rising tensions within the space regarding new Xeno life form discovered and synthetic rights. -Henry Spade has always been pro-human but he doesn't let it get in the way of being in a professional workplace. He got used to his new Xeno and synthetic co-workers but is still wary especially with the paranoia surrounding non-humans, especially IPC's with recent incidents, -Flynn has spent most of his time in the Frontier, he doesn’t take long to get used to Tau Ceti as he views synthetics and xeno's in a good light despite everything that has been going on about them. He'll treat everyone equally and looks to both sides no matter the situation. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Chief Medical Officer, and when I get more robust, I'll promote my warden to HoS Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Henry Spade : CMO Jimenez Flynn : HoS How would you rate your own roleplaying?: Somewhat average. sometimes I'm good and at other times not, but I believe I'm good enough in the aspects of teaching and commanding. Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes, just gotta learn from your mistakes and move on. Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yes Extra notes: I'm always up for feedback to what I should add to make this, my RP and SS13-ning better. And if I don’t get accepted its all good, I'll improve and try another time.

so this is basically so that I can post an command app and get feedback without suddenly getting put on trial before I'm ready. it started off bare bones but I took a lot from other accepted app's to see what I can do to make them better.
