Riots in Southern Harr’masir! Is Muhr’fal fit to Lead? 02.09.2468 Southern Harr’masir has been thrown into turmoil in recent times with a series of unfortunate events. This year has been marked with unstable temperatures in the region and a reduction in grazing pasture health. Following weeks of storms early this season, the region has had chronic shortages of foodstock. In combination with the most recent escapades of the Din’akkiye and Amohdaiye Rhaza-Akhranra, Muhr’fal has been placed in the middle of two impossible problems to negotiate. Food shortages are not an unfamiliar issue, however Southern Harr’masir has remained a net exporter for food stuffs since its liberation. This has flopped this year as Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal elected to import Blizzard Ears and Earthen-Root from Amohda and Das’nrra. This has since sky-rocketed the cost of groceries in the region causing much dissent against the junta. Thus far, Muhr’fal has been able to contain most of these issues with careful navigation and shrewd negotiations with Mai’almtoka Melrhe’kaltra’n Shastar (Food Corporation of Shastar) to bring import costs down. On the opposite side of his territories, Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal has been placed into the difficult position of bordering the now accused Rhaza-Akhran K’marr of the Din’akk. Without sea connections, K’marr’s investigation has been forced to enter the Din’akk through the land border with Southern Harr’masir, a matter not preferable to Muhr’fal who remains distant from calls to action against the southern neighbor. Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk has not made this easy with threats of troopers being re-assigned to the Din’akk border against Muhr’fal’s will. As a result, Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal has restarted a recruitment drive within the region and called on local militia to assist in reinforcing the Din’akk border. With the re-activation of numerous installations, and the increase in military activities, local developments have been started much to the chagrin of regional ranchers. These factors remain manageable on their own, however in combination prove to be a stickler point for the Southern Harr’masir population. Complacency with the hands-off method of ruling Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal seems to employ has seen the rapid escalation of actions and political maneuvering leave a sour taste in the mouths of local ranchers already placed within a difficult position. The culmination of these woes has been seen in the S’ren’dul riots just yesterday. Thousands of Harr’masirii gathered on the streets of the city to protest, among many things, the supposed ‘conscription of militia’ and ‘corruption of freedoms’. The Rhaza-Akhran chose to leave these matters unaddressed until violence began to grow among the rioters prompting a crackdown by ALA troopers. President Harrlala has called an end to the riots and violence, expressing sympathies to the Southern Harr’masirii but affirming that Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk is only acting within his capabilities without the structure found by embracing the civilian apparatus. National Assembly Votes on Harrlala’s Plan 29.07.2468 A proposal to see an end to the accusations levied by Rhaza-Akhranra Rahman Hadjuk and Alexeii K’marr has sat within the National Assembly for some time without further consideration. The proposal details an action plan to form an investigative committee for the neutral and thorough investigation of smuggling and disloyalty to the liberation accused by Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk against Rhaza-Akhran K’marr, as well as the accusation of disloyalty to the liberation accused by K’marr against Hadjuk. Ancillary claims, namely the implied actions of Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal in the intentional addition of illegal goods into Din’akk-sourced shipments, or the negligence thereof, have yet to be included in the proposal. It is suggested throughout an apprehension to work with the SHC, and later anti-ALA beliefs but these are more snippets of the broader opinion. How did the Second Revolution affect the character? Their family? Some of the ripples can be seen but seems more as set dressing with District 6 as opposed to the character's life. What are Kir's views on the Parivara? Hadii Institute Announces Joint Program with Stellar Corporate Conglomerate 30.06.2468 In continued efforts to ensure the safety of the Republic, the Ministry of Technology, Ministry of Defence, and the Hadii Institute of Orbital Research have worked tirelessly to develop and improve many of the designs for mobile combat exosuits as part of Division Experimental Exosuit. The P’kus-3 and Trid’irra walker make up the bulk of the Division EE’s forces. While efforts on Adhomai have restricted real-world use in combat, the Orbital Fleet has found much use out of the P’kus-3 against dissidents and pirates in the Badlands operational region. Reinforcing Kosmostrelkii boarding parties, the P’kus-3 has shown to be beloved by many in the Orbital Fleet and feared by those facing down its barrel of justice. Operational data from Kosmostrelkii boarding parties shows a remarkable decrease in Hadiist casualties alongside sharp hastening in the “time to subdue” statistic for dissident and piratical individuals facing Orbital Fleet action. However, these missions remain a small subset of the P’kus-3’s intended operational range. More data is needed for continued development of domestic exosuit designs. While Adhomian theaters may be restrictive in data, partners of the People’s Republic within the Stellar Corporate Conglomerate operate across the Spur and in a multitude of environments. Seeking this wider range of environments to test the P’kus and Trid’irra exosuits, the Hadii Institute has officially partnered with the Stellar Corporate Conglomerate in what it calls the “Accelerated Development Exosuit Program - Trial”, or ADEPT for short. Hello! Thank you for applying, however at this time I must deny your application. This name does not fit the standard expected for Tajara. While it does tie into the character backstory, Tajaran names must follow the firstname/lastname system and generally sound Tajaran. There is a guide on the Tajara wiki page for creating one, as well as suggested pages to find inspiration (namely the Notable Tajara page). This exact name is problematic for its use of S-2 and the greek-inspired name "Charon", which is not a name present in Tajaran history or culture. This misunderstands the nature of the Ethnic Caste system that defines Tajaran history. It was less so a proper genetic program in labs with scientists than a multi-millennia system of cultural and legal pressures to manipulate and shift Tajaran ethnicities over time. This was achieved through control of societal and cultural institutions (such as religion) to influence societal views on relationships, leading to divisions between the ethnicities. I'm unsure what "the Embargo" refers to. The history of Tajara is defined more recently by the First and Second Revolutions, which were global conflicts that, as the name implies, were revolutions against the world order at those times. The New Kingdom of Adhomai that Shumaila now reigns over was not founded until 2451 when it revolted in Northern Harr'masir under King Azunja. Before that, it was a territory under the People's Republic of Adhomai. The application overall lacks any mentioned or addressing of the Revolutions, which are pivotal events that few if any Tajara (barring the Free Tajaran Council) managed to escape the effects of. Zeng-Hu has no presence on Adhomai, and has next to no interaction with Tajara as a species. In most cases, NanoTrasen handles the medical side of Adhomai. While I cannot speak on behalf of the Skrell Lore team, the page for Tattuqig does not list a Tajaran population as Tajara are absent from most if not all Skrell planets and systems. Tajara did have a population in the Alliance, however that has since become a notable issue following their treatment of Tajara and the 3 bans on the species, which would need to be addressed if applicable. With the nature of species applications, this is generally not an acceptable route to go. The intent of applications is to show an understanding of the lore, themes, and place of a certain species' lore within the broader scope of the server. This includes engaging with major changes across the setting. It can be difficult, especially given Tajara are relatively insulated, however any character entering the Spur beyond S'rand'marr experiences the effects of Spur-wide events. The idea of the character overall is interesting, however it doesn't address the major points of Tajara lore: - The Revolutions - Tajaran Religion - Impact of Tajaran culture - The treatment of Tajara in the broader Spur - How the current Adhomian Cold War effects the character I would take time to let the lore simmer, and reread pages as needed. While the current concept may not work out for a variety of reasons, there are routes to maintaining a similar idea but more in-line with lore, such as through the People's Republic of Adhomai. Sorry for the massive delay. I just finished the bulk of my move today. Has has always taken the approach of trying to steadily draw people into the cult. Being from the Luthien Pact, and on the more radical end of their sect, they don't restrict themselves to only Sinta if they believe the other individual shows signs of spirit and willingness to learn and understand the Aut'akh beliefs. This is both because they genuinely believe the Spur would be better with their beliefs and ideals, and to assist those in strengthening the spirit. Yasir has been victim a participant in many of Has's rituals and open to the espousement of the ideals and beliefs of the cult. They do believe that Yasir can, and most likely will, become a faithful even if it's not overt. So, where flesh is failing in someone who Has cares for and has been participatory in the rituals, vouching for his prosthetic is worth the risk of reputation.
