  1. Our characters didn't have that many meaningful interactions, but in terms of RP, Immortal always managed to input something in those few moments we played together, both in quality and creativity. My character's Disney villain arc would not have been as complete without her involvement. As for the gameplay part of playing Command, she didn't leave much reason to doubt her knowledge of Engineering, I think she is a good CE/Captain with an engineering background. +1, one day we will finally see you play a non-Slav char
  2. One problem I see with it is the possibility of it being completely RP-related. Because in cases of something happening on asteroid, miners would just notify the ship of this place of interest. Xenofauna flair would be completely redundant due to the nature of encounters being "kill or die" thanks to reavers and eels ability to outrun you. As for away sites, they are rarely long enough to warrant leaving field codes so you can navigate faster next time. That being said, I don't mind field codes being solely RP mechanic. I think they will be fun for situations when a miner needs to label an abandoned mining station's entrance with "SAFE" or "ANOMALIES INSIDE" as a warning for other ships that would realistically pass close to it after Horizon leaves. P.s: if you dont add ability to draw a Hephaestus logo as a field code I will make a Sezrak voodoo doll and put him into blender
  3. I agree with Diggey's point. The whole arc was focused entirely for Command characters (All aboard, Close to the Sun, Forceful Introduction) and security characters (Redocking). Only time non-security and non-command character happened to get involved, aside from just sitting in cover, watching FSF drink for free in the bar in All Aboard or prepare for the Ambassador's tour that stopped after two departments due to time limits, was during the Eclipse's mutiny, and even there it was a complete deviation from the narrative. P.s. whoever made that summary is a huge FSF simp Get mutinied Sollie 😎
  4. elevator assistant is the sole protector of my sanity Jokes aside, Diggey has been extremely engaging to RP with, for me as OM at least. The array of characters is also pretty vast, ranging from serious FSF lieutenants to seedy independent traders and everything in between, so I'm confident in his abilities of RPing as Command/Consul. All in all, a good RPer who knows the department he is going to command for his trial. +1 from me.
  5. Hey i would like whitelist too, i'm definitely command i swear
  6. This is essentially being a Prospector, but if we are to move miners to general EVA grunts, I think name EVA Technician/Specialist would fit them better.
  7. I at first had no particular opinion about Bisenti, I thought they were great as Warden and a great Command canditate. I however have some questions regarding already mentioned veil party round. But first I want to clear up something I feel is wrong. I played as Operation Manager and can safely say that as far as Command channel communication goes, Bisenti had no presence whatsoever, which isn't unusual for him and happens frequently according to the rest of Command. And as far as organization goes, I encountered two security officers in medbay having no idea what has been happening for the entire round. So I feel like this is false. This was not HoS's initiative, but AI's attempt at tagging the confirmed hostiles to have the milita formed by Captain a semi-clear image of who to trust and who not to, but I understand the confusion since it was only mentioned by AI on command channel. Bisenti was proven to be not aware of it, as he entered medical lobby with two tagged officers, Luukaneen and ISU whose full name I can't remember. With no attempt to establish what exactly was happening, he disarmed the member of militia, Vaurcae named Theth and entered a stand-off with me and Chief Engineer. This was escalated by his threat to shoot me, which caused a disarmed militia member to tackle him, which ended with entire Operation crew arrested for no applicable reason, and that Vaurcae ending up dead due to punctured Phoron tank. With that out of the way, there is something I wish to have more clarification about from Arbs, especially regarding investigator Pavlovich. As far as I'm aware, Bisenti hit them in the head mutliple times, along with stomping them while they were down for tapping him to get his attention. This all was allegedly done with him being non-antag, so I want to hear Arb's recollection of events that led it.

  9. BYOND key: WAYRT Discord Username: WAYRT#8622 Character names: Malcolm McGulby, Quartermaster Chazz Bell, Drill Technician How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Around 10 monhts Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? Nothing apart from a warning and a week-long ban which I believe happened due to my lack of expirience in RP at the time. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: As the Head of Staff, one will often be the main reason for most of the events during the round. Be it a general cleaning day or station-wide basketball tournament, it is up to Head of Staff to make the round interesting for as many parties involved as possible, similar to antagonists. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: Head of Staff is considered a mentor of sorts to those who work as interns in their department, and the first person to hear the complains of the workers in the department and act on solving them if deemed necessary. Another goal of the Head of Staff is to ensure that department is, at best, is still standing during emergency situations, and is operating without serious issues during non-emergencies. All this must be done with proper level of Roleplaying. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? As it stands, the majority of Orion Spur is still experiencing a shortage of Phoron. Under such circumstances, the announcement of SSCV Horizon came as a surprise to nobody. After completing his contract aboard NSS Aurora, Malcolm returned to work under Hephaestus's banners, where promotion for his job was only a matter of time. As a newly promoted Operation Manager who managed to prove his devotion, his employment at SCCV's logistical sector on behalf of Hephaestus was a reasonable expectation. Following the Solarian Collapse, Oliver Marshall had the choice to either return to his family and position of a dockworker in Callisto's less than distinguishable space harbor, or proceed with his relatively new career at NanoTrasen in Tau Ceti to provide better financial support. Following the further developments in Alliance, as well as Violet Dawn, Oliver had few reasons to doubt his choice. There were more incidents, such as Mictlan situation, Corporate Reconstruction Zone and conflict between Vaurcae Hives, which ultimately did not affect neither characters in any way. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Main reason for this application is to transfer my QM character to Horizon as Operation Manager. I'm planning to play as Head of Personnel aboard Aurora during the trial as another, new character. Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yes. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Oliver Marshall as Head of Personnel during trial, Malcolm McGulby as Operation Manager aboard Horizon Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Naturally. Have you linked your byond account to the forums? Yes, I did. Extra notes: I dont know of how much of importance it is, but I play during European hours, which most often than not are deadpop.
  10. Reporting Personnel: Malcolm McGulby Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Quartermaster Game ID: cfp-ckvM Personnel Involved: Malcolm McGulby, Quartermaster, Victim Richard Jonson, Chief Engineer, Offender Szuiaks Ezsruk, Head of Security, Witness, was contacted by CE in order to approve the Injuction vote, as well as has given the signature. Time of Incident: Real Time: 16:30 GMT Location of Incident: Supply Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [ ] - Misconduct [x] - Other : Abuse of power Overview of the Incident: At approximately 16:00 station time, Chief Engineer placed an order for mutliple boxes of pizzas, 400 credits worth. After calling them to Cargo lobby and discussing the order, it became clear that reasoning behind that obviously personal order was distributing them among the crew due to absence of Chef. I hold no authority over Supply's funds without an approval of Head of Personnel, which I relayed to them. After an attempt at bargain, conversation moved to my office, where I restated my inability to execute such order and after excusing himself to use office's request console, CE handed me an Injuction form, with votes of themselves and Head of Security. While the Head of Security was involved in a form of signature, I suspect they were in a rush to deal with a large-scale carp migration, evident by them being clad in a voidsuit. Due to more pressing matters, Head of Security's decision was clearly not though-out, which did not stop CE from requesting an order, refusing to solve it by paying it, and threatening with charges for Failure to Execute an Order. Wishing to resolve the argument without involvement of Central's authorities over this injuction over boxes of pizzas, I shipped in an order using my own funds. Would you like to be personally interviewed?: [x] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: No, Head of Personnel has not been present at the time of the incident. Actions taken: Additional Notes: Alternatevily, a reimbursement of the supply funds used to purchase the pizzas - 400 credits, would be a preferable resolution of this situation.
