  1. By vendors I mean purely food, drink, cigarettes and overloaders. Things like the secvend, medvend, tool etc. should reset on each round. Should have made that clear.
  2. Hello! I'm the one who requested this originally. I assume the notes will have ckeys attached to them, so we can actions griefing notes? Minor persistance (could likely be implemented without much talk) I'd like to see command locked boards as a possibility. Swipe a command ID to access them. This can be good for more important style notes in department lobbys. Sticky notes persist. Vending machines. Janitors can currently refill them but this isn't done very often. By having vending machines linked to persistance, this would make this done mroe often (and make the commissary more important). Muck. The obvious one. Gibs, blood, oil and dirt having a chance to persist as generic dirt. Perhaps have a low percentage chance of each tile getting goop based on what's on it. Possibly have the percentage change depending on the round type (so bloodier antag rounds like merc or cult have less chance of it persisting as muck). Possibly have a canon/none canon switch somewhere which rarely allows oil and blood to persist. Maybe let trash persist too? Finally maint should be excempt. Massive persistance (would require a lot of discussion) Persistant credit accounts (including departments). These could slowly tick up daily, but would make bounty fulfilment and making credits generally more important. Additionally, tie vending sales to service. Maybe make vending refill cartridges order only.
  3. Yes. Not as good as a plate carrier, but yes.
  4. G2s remain, even after a few IPC weaknesses like burst damage, extremely strong in security. Them been able to move at a decent speed to "chase" antags been a massive drain on battery and a danger to heat should remain as is, as it is their main weakness in that role. When an antag is corners with very little places to run, the G2 remain fearsome. Additionally, this would be better resolved by nerfing the Idris coat, rather than buffing the plate carrier.
  5. Then this I could agree with. Something along the lines of: "Investigations should not hold onto bodies unless the body itself is critical evidence for longer than is nessesary, and should aim to hand them over within 30 minutes of them been found. Red alert and command decisions can override this timer."
  6. Investigations already gets their bodies yoinks occationally by medical, adding a chaplain to it would not be fun to me as an investigator main. And I know you're referring to a situation the other day with the ling husks left behind. I'm all for chaplains given funeral rights, but I still personally believe Investiagtor should get first dibs. What should be added is the expecation to release the body in a timely manner unless absolutely critical not to.
  7. Suits sensors are like they are now as an aid to antagonists - so they can not be caught out while still incognito by sensors. The privacy angle is just an IC justification for it been like it is.
  8. A lot of these ideas are good, but yes would require someone to actually code it and set it up. It's not a simple policy change.
  9. Hey! Thanks for the app. Will be in touch to sort an interview.
  10. As was reiterated earlier today, med intern is a training role. I see no need to expand access even to areas where it "won't go wrong" since allowing interns into these areas is entirely as the discreation of full medical members and command. If you've played an intern for a long tiem, and are fed up of having access issues, honestly the solution is to just stop been an intern and promote your character.
  11. Hard disagree. The solution to getting access is to leave the training role for the full role if you need it so badly.
  12. Hard disagree. We still to this day get "I didn't know I was an antag!" despite the huge noise, massive red text and more. It's there to ensure you do not miss it.
  13. Perhaps unrelated, but I'd love to see Horizon drop pods to send a crew member to an away site in an emergency, or to send cargo down too.
  14. In theory, serious chat channel is for this, however it does often get neglected.
  15. It does need to be accessible for when a genuine issue comes up at the absolute dead hour. Some sort of check to see if a staff member is online would be ideal.
  16. We can use anecdotes of our younger days all we want. No matter hard it was for you to grab an ID for literally 2 minutes, that is not at all true for everyone. Do you think I am a unique case? Are you saying we know that some IDs are wrong, because it shows they are old, and we know somehow they are not that old? You're back to just using trust and judgement calls again. Your entire system breaks down, because it relies on the same judgement call of other staff, at which point it doing all of this was a waste of time.
  17. In what world is this hard to fake? As a teenager I regually was able to get my hands on my parents IDs and the like. Useless to buy things with - there is a picture and as a teen I was obviously not older - but 100% useable for your proposition. It is completely worthless as an age verification meathod.
  18. As someone who has suffered directly due internet people knowing my name and date of birth, to the point there was police involvement and court actions, I will never provide my actual ID to something as trivial as the Aurora team. In the words of LforLouise Any of the proposed "other methods" to verify ID as so laughably easy to fake, that their value is none exsistant. As many 18+ sites who are been forced to ID check UK visitors are stating, there is no way to do this in a way that either is completely worthless by how easy it is to bypass, or a complete infringement on privacy in the case of a leak (assuming whichever "authority" is applying the check will not misuse the data themselves.) I will not link them directly, but you can easily find statements from many of these websites about it. I know many of the staff team. We talk, I like to say we're friends. I know enough about them, their lives, the way they talk that I am willing to go on record and say I do not believe a single member of the current (active) mod/admin team is under 18, or even under 20.
  19. This would be handy. Especially with all weather clothes (winter jackets, stuff for heat, sand etc.) too with Ody becoming more common.
  20. A lot of the "job" lockers are absolutely overflowing - an issue I didn't entirely notice until the alt tab floor function broke. A lot of them can be mostly emptied by using clothes satchel, as does exsist for the CE. I understand clothes in lockers are there as a function for antags to steal or for people changing jobs in round (how often does that happen?), but a lot of cases the variety of options is redundant given how 99% of players now have custom loadouts. Some jobs, in particular consular and corp liason, are the type where I've never seen a single characterwear the default, or swap in and out what is in the lockers, but have a very much full locker filled with multiple suits and shoes, more than one (or even two with aide) could ever wear. TL;DR Cutting down on clothing options and/or implementing spare clothes bags in lockers would help speed up getting your gears from lockers and generally cut down on the annoyance of finding one thing amongst 10 items of clothes you will never use.

Yes, I always assumed the charge vs reload was a balance consideration between the two primary types of guns we have. Energy weapons were recently expanded in the ammo they have on one charge that they do feel competative. I feel an alternative to this would be to make field recharging easier to access, like even starting with a charger backpack in the armoury. This take up a valueable slot (especially when in a voidsuit) and takes longer then a ballistic recharge, but stops you running completely out of ammo down in a cave on Ody with no chance of recharging at all.
