  1. Reporting Personnel: Quisuu Su-Ruusi Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Head of Security Game ID: cp3-blDy Personnel Involved: Emmanuel Sanders, Surgeon: Offender Riley Glande, Janitor: Witness Izwaek Akwza, Bridge Crewman: Witness Nira Sawant, First Responder: Witness Secondary Witnesses: Havoc G3.486F726, Security Officer: Indirect Witness, has compiled the initial report. Ahari Zerikanh, Security Officer: Found the Phoron Punch cans and recovered the molotov itself, was not a direct witness to the events. Possible other witnesses unknown to me. Time of Incident: Roughly between 10:06 and 12:28 Real Time: 29/09/2023 20:00 UTC+3. Location of Incident: SCCV Horizon. Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [X] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [X] - Other: Production of dangerous pyrotechnics. Overview of the Incident: During the events of the described shift a group of visitors afterwards being revealed to be members of the Tarwa Conglomerate were granted docking clearance by Izwaek Akwza, during their rest in the Horizon's public areas Surgeon Emmanuel Sanders seems to have been disturbed by their presence on board due to pre-existing specist/racist opinions and biases. As the transcript describes, Sanders was harassing the visitors and has produced a molotov cocktail made from a vodka bottle and infused with Phoron likely harvested from three cans of Phoron Punch that was recovered by Officer Ahari Zerikanh later during the shift. Sanders, Glande and Akwza all returned to their quarters before my arrival to the residential decks, and their status as involved personnel was provided by Havoc G3.486F726. Submitted Evidence: A picture of three empty cans of Phoron Punch is present, a transcript that was the starting point for the investigation, as well as a picture of a molotov cocktail, with phoron inside. Transcript: [00:00] Recording started. [00:13] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Please state your name and current occupation." [00:28] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Izwaek Akwaza, Bridge Crewman for the SSSCCV Horizon." [00:52] Havoc G3.486F726 asks, "Were you present on the vessel prior to pirate arrival?" [01:12] Izwaek Akwaza says, "I wass. In fact, I wass the one that ssspoke to them originally when they hailed ussss on communicationssss." [01:28] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Please provide contents of hail." [03:19] Izwaek Akwaza says, "I had moved the Horizon into orbit of the exoplanet that I believe we're ssstill around right thiss moment. Ssshortly after, I wassss in the holodeck with ssome other crewmemberss. Riley Glade wassss one, Emmanuel Ssandersss and Rajar Markov were the other two, both of the latter having already left for ressidential by now. They firssst assked uss if we were protecting the planet, ass they intended to land there for an unknown purposssse they did not dissclossse." [03:44] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Er-- they asssked me on the long-range holopad in the bridge, that iss. I had to leave the holodeck to go there." [04:32] Izwaek Akwaza says, "I informed them we were sssimply orbiting the planet, not protecting it or anything of the ssssort. They then assssked if we had any meat, and if we would be willing to trade ssssome in exchange for creditssss." [05:08] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Their vessssssel appeared to be a damaged one from the Izwesssski Hegemony. I have a sssscan of the vessssssel in the bridge, in fact. The two piratesss in quesssstion were a Ssinta and Dionae." [05:46] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Copy of scans would be appreciated, if allowed to share." [05:51] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Of coursse." [06:15] Havoc G3.486F726 asks, "Have any incursions been conducted on nearby planet following initial contact?" [06:48] Izwaek Akwaza says, "I am unssssure. We had no crew that were invesstigating the planet, sso I am not aware what itss sstate wass before and after thissss." [07:01] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Acknowledged." [08:18] Izwaek Akwaza says, "During thiss exchange on the holopad, we arranged for the trade of meat from the kitchen for creditssss. They agreed, and docked with our sstarboard wing on deck three. I met them there with the meat in quesssstion, and after a brief introduction, we conducted the exchange. I even have the creditssss here." [08:36] (Unrecognized sound) [08:53] Havoc G3.486F726 asks, "Were the pirates authorized to roam the vessel following exchange?" [09:00] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Not freely." [09:35] Izwaek Akwaza says, "I had announced to the crew that were aboard at the time that we had thesssse visssitorssss coming aboard, and they actually sseemed excited about it, given that it wass ssssuch a sssskeleton ssshift. I believe there were five of uss at the time, total." [10:19] Izwaek Akwaza says, "They began quizzing me about what Ssinta liked to eat and drink, that kind of thing. They took to the kitchenss and wisssshed to sshare a meal with thessse vissitorssss. Ssso, we invited them to dine with uss. They were essscorted at all timess." [10:37] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Acknowledged." [10:47] Havoc G3.486F726 asks, "Are you aware of the duration of their stay?" [11:22] Izwaek Akwaza says, "I would essstimate approximately three and a half hourssss, give or take. I don't have an exact timeframe, and could be off a bit." [11:59] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Queries exhausted." [12:08] Havoc G3.486F726 asks, "Do you possess anything further you wish to add?" [12:13] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Ssssure." [13:06] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Thesse vissitorsss, they were your sstandard rough ssspacemen kind of type, assss well assss the excesssssively proud Ssinta archetype, but they were not outright hosssstile to begin with to usss. Perhapss a bit dissstrusssting and wary, but not hosssstile." [14:05] Izwaek Akwaza says, "The primary causssse for the tenssionss that we faced were becaussse of the ssurgeon, Emmanuel Ssandersss. He conssisstently made racissst remarkssss, wassss extremely rude, and made conssstant attemptss to agitate and egg-on thesssse vissssitorsss into lasshing out." [15:07] Izwaek Akwaza says, "At one point he even began sssecretly fasshioning molotovss, and at ssome point alluded to weaponisssing ssssome kind of phoron that he would not dissclosse the ssource of. It took great effortsss on my own and Riley Glade'ss behalf to curb thesse behaviourssss and keep tensssionssss from boiling over into outright hossstility." [15:20] (Unrecognized sound) [15:50] Izwaek Akwaza says, "There wass indeed a point where we realissed thesse vissssitorsss might be an unssscrupulousss ssort, and decided we would try to politely and resssspectfully encourage them to leave in a reassonable manner through wordss, but thisss doctor made that exceedingly difficult." [16:19] Izwaek Akwaza says, "Fortunately, no violence did break out. However, that wasss in sssspite of Dr. Sssanderssss' attemptssss, not becaussse of it." [16:29] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Acknowledged." [16:47] Izwaek Akwaza asks, "Isss there anything elsssse you'd like to know?" [17:04] Havoc G3.486F726 says, "Negative. Sufficient information has been gathered." [17:05] Recording stopped Would you like to be personally interviewed?: [ ] - Yes [X] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: It is unknown if any Heads were present, or if any actions were taken by them. Actions taken: Unknown. Additional Notes: I am submitting this IR on behalf of other crew, I was not present during the incident myself, but I have managed to recover additional evidence.
  2. BYOND key: Snowy1237 Discord name/id: snowy1237 Borg / AI names: I have played ALLOY quite a while ago, I am planning to call my AI CICA if the application is accepted. Have you read the Aurora wiki page about the AI?: Yes. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I have played AI on many other servers and had a lot of fun, I wish to try out the role on Aurora and play AI in a more roleplay-heavy environment. (I also like robots, *ping). Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? One normal warning a year ago, and a few notes, but nothing more serious than that. Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes, of course.

Vaurca volunteer here, the event was well executed and very fun, all in all very much worth staying up for. GLORY GLORY TO HIGH QUEEN LII'DRA!!!
  4. BYOND Key: Snowy1237 Character Names: Quisuu Su-Ruusi (HoS) Lyra (CMO) Altair (XO) And a few more. Species you are applying to play: Vaurca What color do you plan on making your first alien character: #650014 (Zoleth brood) Have you read our lore section's page on this species: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: I have been interested in playing a Vaurca for a long time, having positive and interesting interactions with other Vaurca characters in the past and wanting to explore playing as a species significantly more alien to humanity than most others. All playable hives are related to other species and factions, combined with the significant differences between Vaurca and other species, playing a Vaurca allows for unique and interesting backgrounds and interactions with other characters. Vaurca also have interesting lore and history, their civilization being older than all others in the Spur. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Role-playing a Vaurca is significantly different than playing a human. Vaurca are divided into Unbound (Akaix) and Bound (Viax) forms, while Unbound Vaurcae are more similar to other species due to being fully sapient and self-aware and as such form the upper castes of Vaurca society, Bound Vaurcae are even more specialized and grown lobotomized, being more similar to cyborgs than Humans and usually used for simple and manual labor. All Vaurca are created with a specific form and purpose in mind and cannot deviate much from it during their lifetimes, having little inter-departmental knowledge. All Vaurca are also significantly discriminated against in most of human space, and as all playable hives are intertwined with other alien factions, Vaurcae have limited employment opportunities but also unique outlooks on the spur. Character Name: Za’Akaix’Fron Zo’ra Please provide a short backstory for this character: Fron was created in 2453 as part of one of the last generations of Zoleth’s warriors created before Titan Prime’s first contact with the Republic of Biesel in 2456, Fron spent their first years in VR, undergoing the intense training common for Zoleth’s warriors. After first contact Fron disembarked the Hiveship to the Quarantine Zone on Valkyre, and moved soon after to Flagsdale, joining one of the neighborhood watches in the district. Seeing the poor and ghetto-like state of Flagsdale, Fron was happy that it was reassigned to the Tau Ceti Foreign Legion after the 2459 Solarian invasion, helping to keep the peace in the Republic. Fron served dutifully in the TCFL up until the second Solarian invasion of 2462, where it proved itself valuable in repulsing a Solarian marine boarding team on a facility in the Romanovich Cloud, After the conclusion of the invasion Fron was reassigned to peacekeeping operations in the newly claimed Corporate Reconstruction Zone, fighting the Samaritans on Mictlan on a few occasions as part of the Peacekeeper Mandate. After the creation of the Ve’katak Phalanx Fron was reassigned as private security for an unremarkable corporate facility in the CRZ as part of the new PMC, and after completing it’s first few months in the Phalanx Fron is finally sent to work as a Security Officer on the SCCV Horizon. What do you like about this character: Fron is a TCFL veteran, a backstory for Vaurca that I did not encounter much before on the Horizon, and having some interesting character development options, as the SCCV Horizon is their first major corporate security assignment. How would you rate your role-playing ability: 7/10 Notes: I am available to answer any additional questions regarding the application, it is possible I will need to change the character’s name if it happens t be taken.
  5. New ling ability?

  7. I remember only positive interactions with Yasir and Alzrun, Gary is communicative over command comms and plays his characters well. +1
  8. BYOND key: Snowy1237 Discord Username: Snowy1237#2366 Character names: Quisuu Su-Ruusi (Warden), IRU-Resonance (Investigator), Kazumi (Surgeon), ALLOY (retired) How long have you been playing on Aurora? Since early 2022, but more consistently since October 2022. Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? One warning in September and a few notes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame? The purpose of a Head of Staff is to manage and help the department they are a part of and the crew as a whole, delegating their responsibilities to other members of their department and keeping everyone involved interested in the game, as well as guiding newer players and helping them learn the mechanics and get a good impression of the server. Heads of Staff also manage interactions with antagonists, taking a part in setting the flow of the round. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them? Heads of staff have massive sway over the rounds they are in, as such they are expected to have adequate knowledge of the game mechanics, as well as being respectful, pleasant to interact with and uphold the rules of the server. Explain how the recent events in the Spur changed your character and how they came to be employed on the SCCV Horizon. Quisuu served with the Mendell City Police during the Second Solarian Incursion, helping to keep the peace on the ground during the invasion. After the invasion’s end Quisuu decided to start a new chapter in their life by retiring from the MCPD and signing up as an Idris subcontractor, and after working in Mendell for some time they were accepted onto the SCCV Horizon. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Head of Security, maybe a consular or CMO in the future. Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yes. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking: HoS – Quisuu Su-Ruusi Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes. Have you linked your BYOND account to the Forums? Yes. Extra notes: I can expand on the application if needed.
  9. I am definitely not chaznoodles, and I didn't even know what ss13 was in 2016.
  10. BYOND Key: Snowy1237 Character Names: Quisuu Su-Ruusi (warden), Larioq Xiraq (engineer) and more various frogs. Species you are applying to play: IPC What color do you plan on making your first alien character: IPCs exempt. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: IPCs are very diverse, having a massive variety of personalities, origins and backgrounds to choose from while being vastly different from other species. They have different and interesting interactions with the rest of the spur, having to deal with discrimination almost everywhere they go. They also have a different outlook on the world, with most being owned by governments and megacorporations. There are many IPC subspecies, with each having mechanical and lore differences from the rest, most synergizing well with specific jobs while having the flexibility to occupy most other jobs. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: IPCs think differently than organics, making every decision rationally, taking all the effects into account, as well as having self-preservation be their most important directive. They do not have a unified nation or planet of origin, instead being scattered across human space, calling many of the human nations and planets their homes. IPCs are almost always bought as property after production, and even after going through the costly and lengthy process of acquiring freedom they are still discriminated against. Character Name: IRU-Resonance (IRU-Resonant Frequency in case the first name is taken) Please provide a short backstory for this character IRU-Resonance is a shell IPC that was produced on the TDM “Nomad Alpha” in orbit of Jupiter in 2450. it was programmed as an investigative unit and sold to The Venusian Planetary Police Force, where it was tasked with investigating various serious crimes on the aerostat of Binyaria. Resonance worked diligently to solve every case under its purview, but most of the time the corruption within the VPPF prevented most of the cases from reaching their conclusions. Conveniently missing evidence or the very slow pace of the Force causing the criminals to vanish at just the right time was a thing Resonance dealt with often, causing it to despise the VPPF, Cytheria and Venus as a whole. In 2459, after nine years of work on Venus, the VPPF decided to sell Resonance to Idris Incorporated. Resonance underwent a memory wipe, due to the imperfect nature of memory wipes it managed to retain some memories about its past. Having gained the job of an Idris Reclamation Unit, it was transferred off of Venus and into the Republic of Biesel, where it began its new work, reclaiming the assets of people who failed to repay their loans. In 2464, after five years of diligent work for Idris, IRU-Resonance was transferred onto the SCCV Horizon. What do you like about this character? Resonance has a past in the Solarian Alliance, a nation I have yet to explore with any of my characters, the incomplete memory wipe gives the character a direction to develop into, and I feel the character will not be too hard to play as. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Pretty good, 7/10 Notes: If something is incomplete, I am ready to answer any follow-up questions.
  11. I played with both hailey and kroner, and I think that kelnor can pull of a command role +1
  12. 1. Xiraq was, and still is, quite devout, visiting the local observatory dome on a biweekly basis, attending the various events, following the doctrines and prayers, and somewhat regularly visiting the Wonqio Monastery in Hyu’blaq’wesi. 2. Xiraq appreciates and respects the stability and scientific advancement the Nralakk Federation and it’s officials brought to the skrell, gathers inspiration from Idols, and wishes to maintain and improve their social credit score. 3. Xiraq respects the dionae in the federation, and considers them equal to skrell Federation citizens. Xiraq distrusts the C’thur vaurcae due to their recent arrival, lack of significant exposure to them, and their use of robot-like Unbound. 4. Larioq Pities skrell born outside of the Federation, because they were not able to experience the superior education and quality of life present in the Federation, at the same time wanting to learn about their life and their reason not to immigrate to the Federation (as every skrell has citizenship). 5. Xiraq considers humans (mostly knowing only solarians) good coworkers, even if primitive and weird in their own ways. Xiraq is mostly indifferent to unathi and tajara, due to having no interaction with one of them personally, only hearing about them from other skrell and humans. Other vaurcae hives are distrusted slightly more than the C’thur, due to the same reasons. Positronics are feared and heavily distrusted due to their origins as Glorsh-made drones. 6. Xiraq’s first work assignment outside the Federation was assisting in the construction of orbital manufacturing facilities in the Middle ring of the Solarian Alliance. Larioq found the experience isolating, having trouble connecting with humans and having very few other skrell nearby, all sent from different parts of the Federation with the same task. After two years of work the solarian collapse occurred, forcing Larioq to relocate, first to Callisto, and then back to the Federation, to await a new assignment. After an evaluation of their performance in Sol, Xiraq was granted employment on the SCCV Horizon. The experience will help in adjusting to the environment of Biesel, having already experienced life outside the Federation and developed coping mechanisms to deal with it.
  13. BYOND Key: Snowy1237 Character Names: ALLOY, and a few off-ship characters. Species you are applying to play: Skrell. What color do you plan on making your first alien character: Dark purple. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: I have always found skrell interesting to interact with, due to their alien-ness compared to humans and robots. They have unique mechanics such as psionics and Srom, a unique culture focusing on academic advancement and conformity, social credit score, and the distrust of synthetics. Leading to a different RP experience than humans or cyborgs. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Skrell do not have human-like facial expressions, instead utilizing psionics and headtail movements to communicate their emotions, making interaction with non-skrell harder. They also tend to be much more conforming, and longer lived, further distancing their understanding of the world than that of a human. Character Name: Larioq Xiraq Please provide a short backstory for this character Larioq is a Xiiori reciever hatched in 2291, during the slaq-qog season in the city of Plebu’qlip on the planet Aweiji. Their Quya was comprised of four secondary numericals, two Xiialt and two Axiori, all of them working in Plebu'qlip's manufacturing facilities. Their Qrri’Myaq was a distinguished engineer, managing one of the many resource refining and export facilities built by Glorsh-Omega, sparking Larioq’s interest in engineering and industry. After passing the Odurserr Larioq proceeded to the Untuk'Mak, while learning there, the Federation discovered Humanity, further increasing Larioq's interest in the rest of the Spur, particularly the various human nations and cultures and their technological progress. After finishing their education at the reefgardens, Larioq enrolled in the Plebu’qlip University of Engineering and completed three degrees in engineering and adjacent fields. After their graduation Larioq found employment in one of Plebu’qilp’s many manufacturing complexes as part of the Qerr'Zolvq Industries enterprise, just like their Qrri’Myaq. For many years Larioq worked in the factories, fixing and building more of the industrial machinery, acquiring practical work experience, friendships, a good social credit score and monetary savings along the way. But after working so many years in one place, Larioq grew bored, and decided to venture to the city of Hyu’blaq’wesi, a religious hub in the north of Aweiji to receive religious guidance. After talking with a local starkeeper Larioq decided to spend their savings on visiting as much of the Federation, and the spur in general. After visiting many planets throughout the Federation, including Qerrbalak, Larioq settled back to their home on Aweiji to rest. Recently, Larioq decided to return back to work, and after some times a great opportunity was found, Through the Work Initiative Programme their application to work abroad was accepted, and Larioq was sent to the Republic of Biesel, to work on the SCCV Horizon. What do you like about this character? Larioq is a somewhat average skrell, making them a good first alien character. It is their first time being outside the Federation for a prolonged period, allowing new roleplay opportunities in Larioq exploring the outside Spur and meeting other species and cultures. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Pretty good. 7/10. Notes: Larioq's favorite food is boiled Fjylozyn. Larioq's social credit score is 6.03. I can expand the backstory if needed.
  14. I played with Dekser a lot this past month and all of their characters were fun to play with. +1
