You just need to apply with a fresh character and make a NEW application based on said character. you can still make Edgar an RD once you get your white-list. Delete this post please. That is my point Toaster, I find it really hard to RP a new character. I like sticking to one character, and it always goes back to it, I can't keep myself to playing that character cause I like science too much. It's not the character, I just want to keep playing who I love

There is stuff I don't want to say on the forums here that will play into affect in it. It is hard for me because I've been here for so long and everyone always remembers the bad things I did. It's hard to get anywhere

I actually have lost my lore from Edgar and will be 100% rewriting it, I really don't care about. And Synth. I have seen apps that aren't characters they play denied cause no one knows the character. Thats why I am scared on writing one of those.

I have had people tell me I should apply only to be told that I can't. Those people have also stated this ruling is dumb. I am not stating that, I understanding your reasoning, but I wish to have a fair chance in a new setting with new people. It's not about the Past, It's about the future and how to advance. I just want people to stop looking at the past and thinking of me as this player who does stuff. I have come back and already made friends IC and OOC who don't know what happened. I just want a fair chance with the staff who have been here and the players I meet. You must get some shitty xenobiologists It's the general feeling I get, Xenobiology does not get serious or good players, the majority that play it always release the slimes and end up causing havoc in the sub-level, and I've been playing director for some years now, we rarely get any that actually roleplay. I agreed, it's hard to balence multiple jobs at once for someone who mains science

As a Xenobiologist. I feel like working with slimes every day and night it gets very very VERY boring, and have another thing to do in xenobio will be extremely nice as a change of pace. So yeah. And yes if Xenobios die thats their fault, not yours.

Chiming In here, Scientist who talked with the wizwoz for a very long time. Edgar and the Wiz were sitting casually in the bar when security walked in, forced everyone out and Hanna was screaming at the Wiz, inciting the LOOC comment. I feel like the character and the person were just trying to valid hunt and kill the wiz. Yes there was a reason but even before, the entire sec team that round was antagonizing the peace wiz, even attacking him and trying to stun the Dionea Wiz without even a attack from the Wiz. I was there IC for about 85% of the round and the rest I was ghosted and even after the HoS got wiz powers, Hanna charged her and tried to attack the HoS. I feel like this is really just bade gameplay in general and antags can and should try to cause as much Roleplay as possible, which is their job, for everyone on the station. Science, Civilian, and Security Alike, we should all be affected by the antag, instead of one department like security just fighting the antag and the rest of the departments just sitting there bored, thats why CT is called because a lot of people are bored of the round cause the antag is either dead by security or arrested by security, and these people in security don't help it's case. As a scientist main, I normally either have a head of staff stamp an NFC 1000 for the equipment, but that also isn't suppose to be how it runs but a lot of heads of staff really just want the paperwork done. If it is changed it would help science a lot

I understand your concern and your comment, just would like to explain why it's like that. Edgar was my first character, has been a character for two years, and is one of my most used, being someone who finds it hard to talk to people irl and being just awkward, it's hard to do the same In game, it's just my flaw, and I've been doing dnd to try to get better at that, so it's something that a lot of people point out. I understand, Edgar cares about his team and defends them, but when it comes to making new friends, he has a hard time doing so, and yes, his positive out weigh his negatives, but that doesn't let him still be quiet, I've been working on him and trying to talk to people, but i just don't know what to say... ic or ooc.

If he just doesn't care about anything, then why would he be a good fit as a Head of Staff? Constructing a believable, interesting character isn't something that happens overnight, nor is everyone going to recognize what you've crafted. Simply giving up on making your character more fleshed out simply because he doesn't have the spotlight isn't a good sign. Staff aren't the only people capable of giving feedback and criticism. While you should take what they say to heart, you shouldn't disregard what everyone else has to say just because their OOC name isn't a different color to everybody else's. I'll admit that's a lesson I had to learn the hard way, myself. When I said what I said, I made sure to try and list things that I've seen after your hiatus, and I only reference things prior to it in passing. I do this because you haven't been back for a long enough time to truly prove that you have changed, like you claim. You've barely just came back to SS13 and you're already clamoring for a head whitelist. If I were you, I would wait two or three months and work towards becoming a common fixture on the server, rather than trying for a Head whitelist so soon after coming back. Right now, you're simply a big unknown when it comes to whether or not you can be trusted with the whitelist. I understand, Edgar himself cares a bunch of his team, and has gone out of the way to save his director and another scientist via telescience one round, he cares for them deeply and if anyone threatens them he gets defensive, but with most things he has been just tossed aside, so that's why he works and defends his team so much, and quite often he is promoted to interim, which means I hope good things about him The reason I am not known that much to new people is the fact that i don't want to say anything, I'm very socially awkward and it affects my ic and ooc, cause I don't know what to say, or how they will react, it's something I work on and is hard for me to get right.

BSA, the Reason Edgar just doesn't care really comes from the fact that IC he has been lied to, cheated on, and ignored by countless people on the station, he really doesn't care anymore, he has tried and failed, so he just works on his job and tries to make friends with coworkers. I have tried to make him more emotional about some stuff, but no one brings those things up so it just weighs on him, and he just tries to ignore it Point two, Antag, I have purposely turned off all my antags because whenever I do, I can't come up with any ideas on the spot and it just turns into a mess, and I only bombed non critical areas, and even then most of the time it wasn't my fault, I put bombs in stuff and people carried them around, without knowing. And I really don't care about being antag, it's the point of RP is what matters, and me talking to other people about whats going on is RP And about Head of Staff, I don't care if someone doesn't like how I run things, everyone runs things different, and I have been told by admins how some things I do is odd and I try to correct that, this is why I barely talk to in OOC and only talk when something neat is brought up. I really don't mind, and I have people state they don't like me, and I just try to see why. Anyway, the past is the past and you should look at the present, it's been almost a year now, and you are still dwelling on the past, thats my one big things from that, half of those points are about the past, and I have purposely made sure they don't happen
