Add A Lower Limit To Liquid Intake (Like Our Tummy Limit)

We can currently drink any liquid for days. I've managed to drink 300u of water before getting bored of trying to find the limit and stopping.

This lack of a reasonable limit creates a few problematic ramifications. For example, tea has a reasonable healing property against toxin damage. 30 units of tea will cure you 0.5 * 6 (or 3 toxins). This seems very fair, until you remember you can wipe out the vendors to chug tea to purge your system. (It will take you 3 hours to get 60 toxins off you from tea but like chugging all that tea is still an issue)

Having our bladders have a cap on the amount of liquid it can take, similar to the amount of reagents our stomachs can fill, would be GREAT to combat this issue among others by being an immediate stopgap to chugging healing drinks, making admin oversight much less necessary for matters of drinks and healing properties within.

When you hit your cap of liquid intake, you get a message prompt saying You can't force yourself to drink any more!

Liquids will continue to digest at normal rates, making you 'thirsty' again over time.

The maximum liquid intake should be 15 units above the (serious/lethal) alcohol overdose limit.

I +1 this if not for balance sake but for role play sake. I don’t know if a thirst option would be something to add as well but I would support that as an addition to this

All sources of reagent storage (inhaling, eating, blood, touch) can hold up to 1000 units of reagents. Should be an easy fix to just lower it's cap.

I really don't think we need to throw in extra mechanics. I haven't seen anyone abusing these mechanics, so what's the point in adding in more code? What does it add to the game?

As burger said, just lowering the limit would not be too hard, the only problem is that there is not message when you hit the one thousand of units, but this is trivial.

There's quite a few people that do it.

Before there was a limit to eating food (and later when you could bypass that limit by using a spoon), I was one of the people that would have a lot of fun with the lack of a cap. Eating 12 boxes of pizza in 1 sitting at bar party (to the horror of those around me) is still the best memory I have of early aurora. But eating that many pizzas in one sitting isn't realistic.

The same with drinks. Chugging 300 units of beer isn't realistic.

Lowering the cap to about 60 would be perfectamundo.

If only we had some sort of bodily waste and plumbing system that accounted for reagent and hunger caps.

Maybe you can try pushing that code again. Hoohoo.

I mean it doesn't seem like something that would be a problem to fix. It's got my support.
