AccointNaim
All the constructive criticism is welcome for Veetek Kalna, nicknamed Bananathi. Quote Link to comment
geeves
I like Kalna a lot. I think she brings more to the table than most Aut'akh do. Her usage of words and mannerisms imply that she's been living with humans a while and attempts to adapt. Now, my only concern is that Kalna is known to roll antag super duper often, which can put a dampener on the character, their growth and how people perceive them ICly. I hear you've been trying to correct that by playing antag slightly less, and that's great! That's exactly what I did with mine, and they turned out to be incredibly popular. Good luck. ERP when? Snakebittenn
I don't often find anything that's really Unathi, or anything that's really Autakh, or, even anything Veetek about Kalna except the way they're shaped. Both culturally and in their actions. This would be relatively passable if they were of the normal Unathi sort, but Autakh arrived less than a year ago. Sometimes it seems as if you pretty much just skimmed the lore (like, the entire lore), often I notice you missed very essential details about it when you go on in the relay. Sometimes your RP (atleast there) can trend towards the line of IC/OOC, and be really memey or immature, such as your recent hyperfixation on the phenomenon of throwing cucumbers behind a cat. I don't believe your character accurately portrays what they're meant to be, but I'm sure you have it in you to do a more serious character. I am pleased to hear that you have dialed back on playing an antagonist. Quote Link to comment
MattAtlas
You need to put in more effort into trying to act reasonably tame if you want people to know your character more for actual feedback. Most of the time I see you around I'm driven off by the kinda shit that makes me think "this feels like a 12 year old kid, not an unathi". So basically what Paradox said. Just dial down the "haha random humor" and you'll be fine. I'm sure you can make a good character, but the way you play kinda undermines it. Quote Link to comment
Guest BoxWulf
Hi! as someone who does RP with Kalna, I can say that they embody the Veetek clan to an extent. She’s usually hanging around the R&D lab and I’ve seen them interact with robotics a few times. That being said, I think Kalna could have more substance if they were to commit to a specific department, maybe have a stronger backstory? Why is Kalna on board the Aurora? What does she want to accomplish? I love that Bananathi but I think if she gets fleshed out a bit more, she’ll be a staple of the Aurora crew! Quote Link to comment
