Make Security be more like Security and less like an angry mob

I often saw the problem that security just goes in and stuns people, instead of trying to arrest them without such after not complying with secs orders. While i see and understand why such is easier for the officers, I also have to say that this is a completely boring way of dealing with the situation. Harming people should only be done when they run away or are actively hostile. As an example : There was a preacefull protest infront of the brudge in which the access to the bridge was blocked. My char did not comply with sec so they moved in to arrest me. Such is okay. They first hit me 2 or 3 times with the stunbaton and then put cuffs on me, they first they should have tried to put cuffs on and then if that fails. (Which wouldnt have in my situation. I said they would have to carry me out there and i had no intention of doing harmfull stuff) try to stun me.

Later that round i got processed and put into a cell. But i wasnt told my sentence, how long it would be and how large the fine would be. The only thing that was said was "You are held unti transfer" What is, if you ask me, total crap.

Long story short. I suggest a kind of IC punishment for sec members who act like that and first harm, then cuff.

Additionaly prisoners should get some rights, like getting to know exactly why, how long the imprisonment and how large the fine would be for them.

Those are your charges. Resisting arrest if you shoved any of them or tried to walk away.

Being prodded is not harm- it's a stun weapon. You were stunned for committing at least two medium level infractions, specifically in protest of Command and refusing to come with Security. Should they try to slap cuffs on you first? Probably. This specific instance should have been backed up with logs in order to determine if their behavior was correct. Why wasn't this situation ahelp'd? If you feel that the security team was validhunting, you should have done so.

See, this is why logs is better. Who said this? What was their rank? Were these actions being influenced by antagonism? If it was an Officer refusing to inform you your charges, it's really not their responsibility to have that information unless they processed you. They should get that info, though- but it's on whoever processed you to give it to you first and foremost.

You got prodded for protesting and trying to block the bridge. We already have IC and OOC rules for poor conduct on the part of Security, you should have ahelped this specific instance that has prompted you to make this.

Voting for dismissal. There are already rules on escalation for security. If you witness bad behaviour you should IR or adminhelp.

Bad security play should be ahelped and handled on a ooc level.
