Peppermint Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) Heyo. Hopefully this is the right place for this. Bear in ind this is coming from someone who plays both the sec and medical side of the equation. With the new brainmed system, for a while now sec's non-lethals have been really janky and frustrating to use. I think they need more work and a second look, as right now things go from a hundred to zero real quick. I've seen people take entire rubber mags to the chest, a full taser, and then stunbattons before dropping. Likewise it should not be possible to just chill in teargas with very little happening. It takes a lot to put someone down right now, which brings me onto the second point... ...once they are down, heartattacks. Pain lingers for a long time and totally fucks with the heart. I'm not entirely sure if this is intentional as I've been told a few times it should not be possible, but without a doubt it's an issue. It's not common, but I've seen it enough times to be worried. I have no concrete suggestions here, as I'm not actually sure what the problem is - I've been told a few times that it's being looked into, but nothing really seems to be changing. canon35 Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Yes, please. Having the non lethal and pain side of brainmed looked at would be great.
AmoryBlaine Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 This is being fixed, according to people.
Nantei Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Ideally, pain should be unable to cause any serious damage in someone who doesn't already have a massive amount of problems. Healthy hearts don't tend to give out because of chronic intense pain.
MattAtlas Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 All of these have been recently fixed and merged. Is it still a problem?
Peppermint Posted December 19, 2019 Author Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) Unless something has been changed in the current, ongoing round, yes. When was it changed? (Not meant to sound passive-aggressive! Just unsure as not played sec as much recently until today) Edited December 19, 2019 by Lemei
