SilverTalismen Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 I'm suggesting that throwing people have more of a effect in someways, a percent chance of the person knocking one or two [depending on how 'big' the species is] down or possibly knocking them down if they collide with furniture such as tables or chairs or if they are thrown into a wall, It's mostly a thought I had since right now throwing people around is really weird feeling with how it usually ends, could open up some fun or atleast change how it feels to throw people. I'd love feedback on this ofcourse, I can't code but maybe this thread will inspire someone to do so? Or perhaps I'll simply get the 'code it yourself' message like I have with other suggestions. ?♂️
Pratepresidenten Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Although I love seeing these ideas come to be, I think the act of throwing someone needs to be reworked first because I cant stand the meme of 5'2'' wetboy wrestles and throws the 8'12'' unathi swoleboi across the room without a sweat. But rework or not, I like the idea of more throw effects.
Carver Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 I feel if throwing was buffed you'd need to make it harder/slower to do, considering it's never been too hard to toss someone.
Roostercat Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Considering throwing (and pretty much all worthwhile grab moves excluding headbutt) has been nerfed to oblivion, requiring a red grab to do so, I don't think throwing would need to be made harder by this change. Most of the time people are able to resist out before getting to redgrab unless they dont spam resist in time.
