Reason for complaint: Wicked_Cybs, from my understanding, doesn't believe that I was being honest when I said I had to cryo in a round, and I was banned from antagonist roles because they believe I cryo in an attempt to prevent being caught as an antag. 
Evidence/logs/etc: 

Initial Ban: Disconnected rapidly again after giving odd reasoning while playing the role of an antagonist. I found it particularly suspicious they had no time to detail to me the why, but did have time to chat in dchat.

Accompanying Warning: You have again given suspicious reasoning as to why you need to leave whenever you're going to be caught or are caught as an antag. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but that history along with you taking your time in dchat after cryoing to just chat with people instead of doing the urgent unspecified thing you swore to me you had to leave for was strange. This comes with an antag ban, please appeal on the fourm if you feel you can offer me a better explanation.

I understand that it looked suspicious, without the dialogue that occurred after. On the other hand, I did attempt to make contact with Wicked_cybs on Discord AND the forums to continue the conversation after I disconnected. Wicked_cybs had AdminPM'd me questioning why I was talking in Dchat after I told them I had to cryo in around ten minutes (which I had done at this point). I had to go somewhere suddenly, and thus the people I was going with we're getting ready. I was also in the process of getting ready, and thus made the mistake of not being concise when I answered their questions. That was my mistake. Instead of saying that I was still online because I was waiting for the other people leaving with me to get ready, I only said "my friend is spraying cologne." As I was actively attempting to turn off my computer, I got another adminpm from Wicked_cybs, and I responded with "I am leaving rn", and then on the way to where we were going I used my phone to attempt to contact them, but got no response. I did not know what had occurred after my disconnect until I got home and rebooted up ss13, where I then wrote the unban request. I have prior notes for this. On 2020-08-16 I was banned for going ssd in a locker as a changeling. This was very early in my aurora days and I did not know what I was doing. On 2021-01-06, I was noted for "Going SSD once again as a CSI. You need to go to cryo or ahelp to have a staff member do it for you instead of taking up a slot." I will admit, I had a string of bad play here. I racked up notes fast, then took a LONG hiatus, and returned. I have a ban for "Continued, repeated DC#39ing as soon as you#39re captured while playing antagonist, as well as a history of poor antag play. You can appeal this at https://forums.aurorastation.org/" I did in fact appeal it, successfully. I had fault there, I had a lack of understanding of the medical system and DC'd when I thought I was dead and wasn't. This is also where I first explained my situation, and that my DC'ing was due to me having to disconnect, and not a choice to disconnect. 

Which brings us, full circle, back to the ban by Wicked_cybs. I don't think it was in bad faith, and truly I have no complaint against Wicked_cybs. I simply believe they don't believe me, and I understand that. I just don't want to be permanently banned from antag due to disbelief.  In the ban they remark "I found it particularly suspicious they had no time to detail to me the why, but did have time to chat in dchat." I find this point invalid, as I did in fact make time to chat with them. They had simply adminpm'd at the wrong time, and I had to disconnect, but I tried to talk to them both on forums and on discord. They also say "Disconnected rapidly again after giving odd reasoning while playing the role of an antagonist." It wasn't rapid, I had told them ten minutes prior to me cryoing, and waited for a response before I did so. They adminPM'd me, after I told them I had to go to ask why I hadn't left yet, nothing wrong yet, and then I messed up by only saying "my friend is spraying cologne". So far, to be honest, ban warranted. They PM'd me again, I said I was leaving right now, disconnected, tried to make contact on forums AND discord. At the very least, do not say I had no time to detail the why when I made an effort to explain why.  

At the end of the day, I don't believe my ban, or any ban, should stick based on just belief or disbelief.

The issue is that even after you were unbanned, you kept getting notes, and one of them is related to the issue in question:

You also have a lot of notes related to poor antag behavior. I think it is a bit harder to justify just unbanning you, because it is a obvious pattern.

A. I love “smack him with a stick or something.”

B. Your right, one of those notes is definitely important here but the first one in that list states I did nothing wrong and, from my understanding of adminning, is more for if it’s a recurring event there is proof that I was already talked to about it. 

The second one is about me admittedly malding in LOOC because I hate how ling is, both for security and the antag. I was definitely still malding during the adminpm, but I did understand and correct my behavior.

I wish there was more to that third note. I don’t remember an adminPM about this since I got unbanned until the ban by Wicked. I can’t explain something I admittedly dont remember, so I won’t try to defend myself there.

 

I can’t see all my notes, but from what I know most of them are from like 1-2 years ago, starting out really bad and getting down to the little things. I think that shows growth. Yeah, I was horrible, but I’m learning not to be.

 

C. I wasn’t getting caught when I cryo’d in the round wicked banned me. Security had begun to search maintenance for the weapon but completely skipped security maintenance, which is where the evidence was. I had lamented this in DChat before wicked adminPM’d me. I was worried I would have to do another crime and raise the situations escalation and potentially cause too much violence, like I had been warned not to do before, but wished I could stay for the “it was me all along” moment.

The problem is that you have a really long pattern of doing the same thing alongside with other issues, and we think that cybs' decision is reasonable. You will have to appeal this ban in the future.

I will close this complaint in a one day or so.
