Why did you come to Aurora?:After getting Perma-banned from Apollo, BestRp, and Aliun Deathtrap Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?:Oh Hell yeah, I have read like every page on that wiki while looking for drink guides for the Bar and Surgery Guides. Please provide well articulated and argumented answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: truly Roleplaying is the literary art of playing a character in a sense it is similar to acting. Roleplaying should be about presenting a real and believable character and playing like so, as well as being able to stay in Character rather then suspending the act to do something else. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: OOCly' a head of staff is to lead departments obviously, as well as advance Events and Game modes that require them along well.As well as serving as a role model to the team, as well as being willing to help other people. and Delegate tasks properly, so that everything runs smooth and efficiently. Being a head of staff also should show people the competency of said person, who should be able to help if someone is stuck on something. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: The Responsibilities of a Whitelisted player, is to be an Example, why should white-lists be given out to those who are dickish against over people oocly? Whitelisted players should be helpful in Ooc, if a new player asks something about the Gametide damn right a whitelisted Player should be one of the first to answer. Character name:Vittorio Giurifiglio, C.D, M.D Character age:36 (Have forgotten to change this in the Setup page since forever.) Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Vittorio Giurifiglio was born in the Rocky, Iron cored planet in the Constellation Draco, named Italia Novus, or in the regional Dialect of it's Italian settlers from Old earth, "Italia Nova" , at 12:30am in the Amadeo della Sol Hospital on the feast day of St. Paschal Baylon, that is May 17. Vittorio's parents were Respectable businessmen on the Planet, running several construction and "Private Security firms" His father being a Senator of the Sol Union, His Excellency Vittorio Emmanuele Giurifiglio. Of course respectable Businessmen on Italia Novus was synonymous with Mafioso, This is not to say Vittorio was raised a criminal by his father, quite the opposite rather, as his father had aspirations for his son to go to Medical School and provide a reasonable front for their "Actual" source of income increasing value. So like all men Vittorio grew up, Went to school and then went to University, the university in particular was the University of Nova Roma, where he spent around 12 years of his life learning the Medical sciences, he was decent at what he did proving good enough for all the tests, however where his intellect shown, his Social aspect was quite depressing, Vittorio had remained a virgin for 24 years, Even relationship-less, he had never had a meaningful connection with anyone, but his father and mother who he loved dearly. After finishing the Various Medical schools, Vittorio was finally released from the shackles of organized schooling, of course he was strapped for cash as all students tend to be, as he had refused his fathers who asked to pay for it on account of Honor, He wandered the streets looking for jobs on the Planet,as the demand for Doctors was very low as the influx of Educated Humans from other systems had caused, having no place to go, he often slept at Shelters, which on his planet equaled to being around Xenos, Now on Nova Italia, the situation was dire for Xenos, as the Government often discriminated against them often employing drastic measures to stop them from reproducing such as sterilization or the Declawing to prevent them from rising in revolt, they were often condemned to Ghettos or the like. Vittorio shared his planets hatred of "Foreigners" and often started fights at the shelters, which of course he was kicked out of. Eventually Vittorio found work, however it was off the books...not only did the law not like his work, neither did he, he worked with his uncle the Godfather of the Giurifiglese Mafia Family, he worked with helping wounded Soldati and even at some times....Prostitution, he hated this and eventually wanted out, However as we all know one does not simply leave the Mafia. After being so long sick of his work, he appealed to his father asking for him to sell out his own brother in a court of Law to free him from his grasp, His father ever ambitious and loving of his son, sold out his brother to Sol union Authorities under a Anonymous tip, fearing retribution Vittorio fled off world, Soon news broke out, that he had helped bring down the most dangerous Criminal on the Planet and was raised up on a pedestal as a Hero, How ever being a Hero Pays shit-all so he had to find work with one of the Various Megacorps, in this case it was Nanotrasen, for them he became a Doctor and Surgeon, sometimes serving as a Chemist. What do you like about this character?: What do you dislike about this character?: His Dickishness, Honestly he is generally a Self insert of the Bad parts of me, so that basically is what I dislike. Do you think this character is fit to be a Head of Staff? (Please note that Head characters must be over 30, unless given special clearance):Honestly yes, He may be a dick to workers Xenophilic, but when it comes to Surgery he is efficient and Quick, In Chemistry he gets the job done, and I feel he would make a good CMO, and once again his Dickishness to Aliens generally only applies when the word Monkey, or when an Alien claims Humans are inferior. I don't know why NanoTrasen would hire Vittorio as a head, given the fact he is so outwardly racist and a massive human supremacist. He's even gone so far as to vandalize the station and write 'lizards aren't people' in the middle of the hall. Given the fact he is an extremist, his position as a station head would as far as I can see bring only bad PR to the company and summon a literal storm of Internal Affairs paperwork. He's too extreme to ever be promoted to a head, IMO.

It wouldn't be too unlikely for him to have to undergo mandatory sensitivity training, if it's as bad as implied, if NanoTrasen would think he has the qualities of a good Head of Staff otherwise.

I just don't think a head should be, Westboro-levels of crazy. Yes, you can hate on whatever species you like - but if you call them racial slurs constantly, or graffiti the hallways of your workplace, you'll get called out on it. There's actually ways to be crazy racist without doing any of that - but think of the way issues of race are treated irl. People in positions of powers will say racist things sometimes, but when they do, it tends to create a big scandal.

Yeah, That graffiti was a one time thing, as I was sooper sleepy, and the Slurs tend to only follow when a Non-Human Uses slurs.

Some people do not like species discrimination and for good reasons but in little doses I can see it adding some interaction to the round. If tajarans and unathi can say in their tongues about humans and such behind, why can't humans be racist also?

He doesn't wear scrubs in surgery; I have seem him doing complicated surgeries in his suit and yell at me when I'm asking him wtf he's doing. He's confrontational to other staff, arrogant, and I don't think he could handle mediating workplace disputes. He makes a great barman, though, and is fun to see in other roles. Just not in a CMO role.

The Suit issue can be corrected, and I have been reading about the Medical Applicability of Suits to the work Place (Don't even ask how much work it was to learn why XD) It's unsanitary and generally a bad idea, So as much as it pains me to do it i will no longer wear the Suit of Justice, glory and Xenophobia. Pour le autre pointre: When you yell at him he gets pissed, Is this not the social norm for that? Confrontational? Only upon prompts from other people, such as a certain blonde insulting him. and for the last point you never know unless it happens right?
