Nuke ops Mask at the barrack

Today I saw cool feature being requested at ahelp to be spawned for Nuke ops: basicaly it's just mask of animals, or other stuff like from Payday. My suggestion is to toss them on the map where nuke ops spawn, just locker with them. So players could take them if they want.

You can buy a box full of masks for one telecrystal.

But it's.... pointless wasting of crystals, they are cheap. They will not make balance different, just let them for Nuke ops to be already distrebuted.

I have to side with Alby on this, they are already readily available for one telecrystal, why give it to them for free when the cost of getting them is already pretty negligible, and its not like Nukes Ops honestly need the one/two crystals to spend it takes to kit the entire team with an animal gasmask.

I am just giving a suggestion. Honestly: I was not playing for 2.5 month, so I didn't know that Nuke ops has it at teleshop

I like this idea. I don't feel the nuke ops should be forced to spend valuable and limited telecrystals on small aesthetic choices. Ideally they have a giant room filled with a crap-load of assorted costumes and uniforms for disguises, since they're no longer dedicated nuke ops.

If antags shouldn't have to waste crystals on aesthetics, why should any chameleon items cost crystals? Its not like Chameleon items give any strategic advantage, they're there for aesthetic, but they still cost points, so why should Nuke ops not have to use their crystals for something that actually has the function of a working gas mask?

Chameleon jumpsuits can be used for infiltration (well, to a degree, they're sorta shit with the sechud existing), while masks can... pretty much only be used for swag points. And I have no idea if you can use animal masks to filter out gases (if so lol), but the ops already do start out with fully working gas masks for free, so your point is a bit moot.

However, if you're simply saying chameleon suits should be free, then... I guess? Sure. I always wanted clown ops anyway.

There's actually a few animal masks in the code as well. I'm not sure of their function, but I was able to spawn them a few months back.

(And even if they did operate as gask masks, would that really be a big difference? It's basically the comparison between having a nuke op looking like a nuke op and having a nuke op looking like a monkey. Neither will be particularly inconspicuous.)
